Just got my moment rooted with 2.1 installed. I now want to start deleting programs like moxier and sprint tv. Is there any step by step write up on how to do this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have searched all over. Moxier seems to work great for those that can get it to work. I am trying to get it to work with my personal email account on roadrunner. Regardless of what servers/settings I use, it still says to provide detailed server information.Anyone have any luck setting this up? I don't want to pay for an exchange program as the entire reason I went from a Centro to Moment was to be able to push emails and contacts back to Outlook. Can anyone help? I don't want to trade this back under the 30 day program as I don't know if the Pre will work or not. I don't know of any other phones that have the features this one does.
View 2 Replies View Relatedfor those of you running moxier mail on exchange with a polling mode, have you ever noticed it doesn't successfully always update? I am seeing that at times i will set it to a 1 hour polling mode for example but it won't bring down new emails. If i notice on the moxier settings page the last synch'd time is further back than the polling interval i'll hit 'synch now' and it ALWAYS brings down any new messages.
I contacted moxier and they seem to think its an issue with my server. I should also say my IT department doesn't support moxier/android explicitly but there is no reason it shouldn't work as designed they say. I have dug into the moxier logs and it seems that everytime i see a failure the following similar entries appear to be in the logs:.............
I recently switched from a Treo to the Moment. Generally quite pleased, but the Moxier email client doesn't seem to be displaying html links at all.
Exchange mail on the Treo still shows links, so unlike some of the other posts, the problem is not with the corporate exchange server stripping out html.
Is there a setting in Moxier to enable links within email messages?
Is there any advantage in using the Moxier programs on the X10 as opposed to just standard email settings?

No longer on tmobile and while I love my moment I really wish I could have the camera apps, audio post card apps and the gallery. I have root on both so I pulled the apk and odex files but when I try to install the apk it fails. Is there any way to get these to work?

Can i safely delete files through my pc's file manager (while tethered) rather than through the phone it self, files such as pictures and music? View 14 Replies View RelatedSome time ago...I estimate a week at most, I received an error when simply saving a file from my Browser, stating there was not enough space to do so. Knowing my phone had mre than adequate space, I presumed it was just an error with my browser.
Trying again with a different internet browser, I was met again with the same dilema. To make matters worse, I cannot permanently delete picture files from the default viewer on my phone. Queerily, I can delete them, only to have the pictures return hours later. To make my situation more unusual; Upon viewing the SD card mounted on my laptop, I can move, add & delete any form of files with ease. Even saving/deleting other files using different apps (Videobox, for example) gives me no hassle whatsoever.
One solution I'm willing, but at the same time reluctant to try is to reset my phone entirely to it's factory default setting (prior to backing up all of my SD card's data, of course)
I just bought an Eris and wanna get ride of some of the stock apps and junk from view in the all programs menu, ive searched but maybe im not using the right search words.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I went and did things the hard way (Asian Level Root).
Root was obviously a success, but now I can't get rid of 2 of 3 of the Chinese programs that got installed. The only program I was able to get rid of was the Shuame market app.
Trying to remove/uninstall any other programs ( KingUser.apk and PinyinIME.apk, et al) via Titanium Backup just results in a screen depicting Andy on his back, front open, big red triangle on top of him.
The tablet does reboot by itself after a minute, but the programs remain.
I did reset the tablet to no effect.
Specs: HP Slate 7, Android 4.1.1, Kernel 3.0.8+, Rooted (obviously).
It's clear I'm not alone, when it comes to the loss of network comms on my Moment. I've just resigned myself to the fact that I have to get used to power-cycling the phone when things go bad, and hope against hope that 2.1 is our miracle cure.
But I'm looking for a quicker way to restart my phone, instead of doing the off/on thing. When the phone stops being a phone, the process "com.samsung.internal" has likely crashed. I found where I can force-stop that application (and just about anything else), but I haven't seen where it's stored, in an attempt to manually start it. Can it be done? If so, how?
Is any one else used Droid explorer? I used it earlier to remove stock apps and to change my gallery, back when I used the leaked version of 2.1 with v5 from sdx. Now I have DE03 Vanilla Rom though and when ever I try to open up droid explorer it just crashes on start up. Oh yea and I have windows 7. Is anyone else who uses droid explorer have this problem.

I would love to try out the Samsung Moment, but don't have the $$ to just go out and buy one.My hero comes with all it had when new, plus I have an extra battery for it I will add to the deal. My audio stops working all the sudden out of the blue. Ring, text alert, etc. just stops. the only way I can get it to start again is rebooting. Anyone else having this issue? Can i fix it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my Samsung Moment, a lot of times when someone is calling me, the phone will start vibrating or ringing as it should but the screen does not turn on showing the caller id until 4 or 5 rings, if at all. It makes answering calls before it goes to voicemail difficult.

With the Big promotions I tried getting the moment throught best buy 179 deal for existing customers but sprint told best buy that I wasnt at 22 months on my current contract ( which is the 500 sero plan through 8/1/2010 ) so I cant get and upgrade ( except 75 bucks off the msrp through sprint ). I can access it through my PC fine but when I try to access it on my phone it takes me to alternative sprint site either "downloads" section or "sprint web". View 7 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed their sprint navigation messing up?Sometimes its slow, and when it isn't slow it recalculates and tells me i'm on a different road than i am.Sometimes it will just go back but sometimes i have to manually hit recalculate route.Someone else stated that they had this problem with their instinct also.My google maps location cannot be found either though it just keeps saying unavaliable and when i used the progra Where, i selected find me by gps and that doesn't work either.I hope this can be fixed or this would be a dealbreaker for me, i use gps ALOT.
