I have all my contacts listed twice, some even four times. Is there a way to select and delete multiple contacts at once. Doing it one by one can take up to 8 seconds each cause of load time, and thanks to this problem I have over 600 contacts.

Can you delete multiple pictures from that gallery at one time. I'm trying not to have to hook it up to the computer to accomplish that. Can it be done?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen i got my new phone, all the contacts were transferred over from my previous phone. I also have all my contacts in Google. When Google sync'd to the phone it created a duplicate of all the contacts. Is there a way to delete all the phone contacts so that all i have is the google contacts, which is what i use as the "master".
I know i can reset the phone to factory defaults but i have a lot of apps, music and pictures on there that i would prefer to not have to try and backup and reload.
I have a lot of contacts loaded from my SIM. TouchWiz doesn't provide any way of selecting multiple contacts for delete operation, I have to do it one by one, this sucks! Any apps in Android market that can help out with this?

I recently synced my Facebook contact to my phone so that I could have their Facebook pic as the pic on my phone. I do not want to have all my Facebook contacts in my Phone. I tried deleting them from my phone but it says that I have to delete them from Facebook in order to do so.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSome time ago...I estimate a week at most, I received an error when simply saving a file from my Browser, stating there was not enough space to do so. Knowing my phone had mre than adequate space, I presumed it was just an error with my browser.
Trying again with a different internet browser, I was met again with the same dilema. To make matters worse, I cannot permanently delete picture files from the default viewer on my phone. Queerily, I can delete them, only to have the pictures return hours later. To make my situation more unusual; Upon viewing the SD card mounted on my laptop, I can move, add & delete any form of files with ease. Even saving/deleting other files using different apps (Videobox, for example) gives me no hassle whatsoever.
One solution I'm willing, but at the same time reluctant to try is to reset my phone entirely to it's factory default setting (prior to backing up all of my SD card's data, of course)
Am I missing something here? I had my contacts connected to my gmail, then decided to see if I could put them on the sim and still use a picture for them (protip, you can't :P) then I decided to go back to [g] contacts and thus would need to just delete the ones on the sim else I'd have multiple ones.
So off I trot, hold down for the context menu, hit delete and then BAM "Failed" er...what? I'm not allowed to delete my own contacts if they're on the sim card?! What, do I have to mount it to the pc and go looking for them or something? That's ridiculous if so, I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious...
Is there a way for me to sync my outlook CONTACTS to my moment? I use googlecalendar to sync my outlook events with my google calender so my moment gets the events, but what about contacts from outlook?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Gmail I have my contacts sorted by groups, easy enough, on occasion I need to add a new group or move a contact from one group to another, which is easy enough using a pc and my Gmail account. However, I cannot seem to add new groups or edit existing groups on my Moment. I can see the groups, I can sort by groups, but I cannot find an option that will allow me to add or edit any groups. Does anyone know how this is done on the Moment? I suppose I could use the browser to log on to my Gmail account and change it from there but isnt that sort of redundant since I am on my Gmail account using the Moment? Also, maybe someone knows when Moment contacts sync with my Gmail why dont the contact photos sync? One more thing, anyone ever on a call and it goes dead and after a few seconds the phone rings with unknown in the caller ID. When answer it is some from my address book that should have appeared in my caller ID Anyway, now I have to quickly hang up on this person to call the person my phone hung up on to receive this call. Its like the call waiting gets disengaged and hangs up the present call to allow the new incoming. I also had this problem on a HTC Hero I had before I got the Moment also.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have sprint, my phone is an Epic and i love it! however when sending even a simple text i select "new message" the "to" box comes up. i have to start typing in a name to get contacts with similar names to start coming up, which i then select. then i have to repeat for the next contact...i have had cheaper phones that have allowed me to select recipients from my contact list. i have a friend who has Verizon, but has the same andrion platform (i think its a fascinate) and when she clicks on the "to" box, she gets a drop down menu that includes the word "contacts", as well as "recent calls". she clicks on that and goes right down the list selecting recipients...this is standard on her phone, as she did not dwld an app to allow this...MY epic wont do this...can i change a setting or something.

I have two folders in in my mediascape, one containing bluetooth pictures and one containing downloaded pictures. At present to delete these pictures I have to go through each picture individually. How can I delete the entire contents of each folder? I do not seem to have a tag feature where I can tag all of the photogrpahs that I want to delete in one go. Any ideas?
