Samsung Moment :: Moxier Mail Polling Mode Not Updating Properly

for those of you running moxier mail on exchange with a polling mode, have you ever noticed it doesn't successfully always update? I am seeing that at times i will set it to a 1 hour polling mode for example but it won't bring down new emails. If i notice on the moxier settings page the last synch'd time is further back than the polling interval i'll hit 'synch now' and it ALWAYS brings down any new messages.
I contacted moxier and they seem to think its an issue with my server. I should also say my IT department doesn't support moxier/android explicitly but there is no reason it shouldn't work as designed they say. I have dug into the moxier logs and it seems that everytime i see a failure the following similar entries appear to be in the logs:.............

Ever since I upgraded to 2.1 my email accounts have not been polling like they are set to. In some cases, it won't poll until I manually check it. I've tried 2 factory resets, but no luck. They are set to 5 min.

My Moment has been working fine then all of a sudden it stopped syncing with my exchange. i am using Moxier since it came with it. now i can not make it sync manually. my Gmail works fine. just says my "mailbox is empty"

I have searched all over. Moxier seems to work great for those that can get it to work. I am trying to get it to work with my personal email account on roadrunner. Regardless of what servers/settings I use, it still says to provide detailed server information.Anyone have any luck setting this up? I don't want to pay for an exchange program as the entire reason I went from a Centro to Moment was to be able to push emails and contacts back to Outlook. Can anyone help? I don't want to trade this back under the 30 day program as I don't know if the Pre will work or not. I don't know of any other phones that have the features this one does.

Is there a way to change how often the device updates my email? I had a sprint Hero and switched to the moment (very good decision), and I changed it on the Hero to improve battery life.

I recently switched from a Treo to the Moment. Generally quite pleased, but the Moxier email client doesn't seem to be displaying html links at all.
Exchange mail on the Treo still shows links, so unlike some of the other posts, the problem is not with the corporate exchange server stripping out html.
Is there a setting in Moxier to enable links within email messages?

Ok I got my phone in january and all this time I have been believing that Sprint would send updates to my moment. I sound really dumb (lol) but anyways I'm trying to update my phone from 1.5 (i know, im late!!) to 2.1. I'm afraid I'm going to mess my phone up and not back up all of my data correctly. What would you recommend as advice to me before updating my phone?? once again.... i was already supposed to update to 2.1 lol but I thought Sprint would send updates out.

I don't know why, but after I updated my phone to 2.1 it gets hot when used for a period of time. I'm talking about whether I'm texting, talking or playing a game, after about 5mins or so it starts to get hot. Has this happened to anyone else?

I updated my android application on the market.This update included a change in the databaseHelper file where I put in more data and tables. Normally, when debugging, I would have to uninstall and reinstall the app because it doesn't see the new values in the database.Now, it's doing the same thing on the market.
Why is this happening?How can I fix this?Is it possible to 'rollback' the changes to the app?

Had my Hero (T-mobile branded G2...) since release day, but in the last week or so I've had a few issues. Firstly, Gmail isn't synchronising regularly. Sometimes mail comes through instantly, sometimes it doesn't update for a day or more (if I open the Gmail app and "Refresh" it pulls the new mails down). I can't think of anything I've installed that could cause this (all i've installed in the last week are a few soundboards)Secondly, if I go into Market and try to either install a new app, or update an existing one, it sticks on "Starting download..." until I connect to Wifi (then downloads the app immediately). Is there a problem with the Market at the moment, or is this more likely to be a network issue?

after using my mobile for few minutes, my battery % reduces , but when i get into recovery page it shows the correct % of my battery and when i do the battery stat wipe, my % in mobile turns back to normal....and its not the rom problem, cause am facing it in all roms.
how to get rid of this thing or any way to wipe the battery stat in the rom itself?

I just set up my Samsung Moment the other day and I made the mistake of adding an MSN email account to my email notifications. That email acc is the one i use to sign up for things, mostly junk. I get tons of emails in it every day. Is there a way to uninstall the MSN account?

I get pdf attachments daily ... I clicked "open" and got the message that the Moment was "fetching" it, but it never appeared. (I did not try "download," only open, as i just want to read the thing quickly.) Any tips?This is the "mail" not the "gmail" app, I mean.

When I try to enter something into the url/search bar on either the stock browser or dolphin hd (which is what I normally use) one of two things happens. Either the input box simply closes after a few keystrokes and I have to start from scratch, or the input on my screen doesnt match up with what is actually sent. Generally, the autocorrect will not be updating properly, and will refuse to even give me the option to send what I've written and will insist I go to a previous page, even If I just want to do a Google search from the bar.
Other times, it will start to accept input into the suggestion window but stop after a few letters, and when I hit return to go, it will only take those few letters it has acknowledged, rather than what is actually in the Input window. The only work around I've found Is that if I just close the keyboard and click the box again, the correction window will be gone and it will use the text I'd entered. This is only if I am in the version of they keyboard with the .com shortcut, e.g. URL entry. The fact that it happens in multiple browsers make me feel like it's a problem with how the sense keyboard is handling URL input.

I am currently using ESPN ScoreCenter with Launcher Pro Plus and the widget won't update.It used to, but for some reason it stopped one day. I stopped using it and went to SportsTap.Again, it worked at first, but then said no games scheduled (which I know wasn't true).I went back to ESPN, but it won't do anything when I hit the widget. I have to go to my app drawer to open it to get any kind of information. What's the point of a widget if it doesn't do anything except take up space?Any ideas out there? (I tried deselecting the home screen cache option in LPP, but it didn't matter)

How can I find my email contacts easily using yahoo plus e mail with the moment instead of having to search thru alphabetically page by page is there a way of just typing a few letters in the name it will recognize or ? This is very annoying especially if you have to go all the way thru the list.

This is driving me nuts because I had the hero and swapped it out to the Moment and it did the same thing. I am using the Gmail app and whenever I get new mail I have to go into the ALL MAIL label to see it even though the mail has a Inbox tag on it. By doing this I don't get any notifications of new mail and must check it manually. I've tried clearing out Gmail app and Gmail storage but it will only sync once and stop again. So anyone having the same problem? Gmail not pushing mail into the in-box? I posted on Google help forums but so far people only told me to clear data of the applications.

Anyone have a problem not being able to see received picture mail?? people send me a photo and sometimes it just makes a received text sound and i see nothing, or i see the image in the little bubble i click it and then it disappears as if i never got it. i can send picture mail just fine and it shows up on both ends as sent/received on friends phone. however when they send one it barely ever shows me

OK I've been with Sprint for.. well since I first got a cell phone. I got the Moment recently, and have ONE major (for me) issue with it. I loved the feature in Sprint's V-mail, that allowed me to connect directly to another Sprint users V-mail. It was a great time saver, allowed me to just leave the message & get on w/ my day (ok I admit it, it was mainly used to avoid talking to my mother when I knew she was in a bad mood)Since I got the Moment, even when I call my v-mail directly, said option is no longer there. Borrowed my g'friends phone for a minute, and the options is still there for her. I checked Sprint's forums, and couldn't find anything about them changing the v-mail with the Moment.

What's up with Yahoo mail on the Moment? Its performance is absolutely dismal! I followed the steps in manual set up instructions I found in a thread here:
INCOMING

I was able to establish a link with my Yahoo mail account, but is reliabilty and performance is poor at best (I had much better performance accessing Yahoo mail on my old Samsung Instinct). Most the time when I try to check my Inbox, I get a "Username or password incorrect" notice. (Believe me, they are not incorrect). If I press "Menu" and then the "Refresh" button, I then get a "Connection error" notice! If anyone has any fix or any info for resolving this issue, then please post it here. I can access my Yahoo e-mail okay through the browser, but this is really not the way I prefer to do this.

I'm wondering if there is a way for me to access Domino Web (work email through the internet) from my Samsung Moment. I have no problem accessing my work email from any regular computer, but when I try to access it with my phone a message comes back saying the server is not available (ie. it won't let me in from my mobile phone). I don't know if this is a firewall security thing with Lotus Notes/Server administration or if my phone's browser can't handle it. Is there a certain android browser I should be using or is there an app that I can download that will allow me to access my webmail? When a mobile device tries to access a site, does the site know it's a mobile device? Is there any way around this?The way I access work email through the internet is by going to a specific web site and logging into the site. From there I can see my email. I can't do this with my phone.

Sorry if this should go in a different spot. I attempted to root my phone, and as usual, the Sw updater couldn't find the drivers. Now, once I put the battery back in my phone, it goes into recovery mode. I'm worried that I broke it. If I select either the reboot or update options it goes to the screen with the "!" and the green android character and stays that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
