Seems like I have forgotten how to do this. I places some pics on my phone from my laptop but they are not showing up in my gallery. Can you guys verify the file path I should be placing them in.

Can't figure this one out. I have an SD card in the phone and pics loaded on it from my computer. No problem there.
PROBLEM: The pics I take WITH the phone camera just go somewhere IN the phone - NOT to my SD card. I can't find any option in the pics to "save to SD card" or anything like that. I had the phone updated the other day and it wiped all the pics I had taken with the phone - but not the SD ones. Now I have more photos and no way to save them to the SD card?
Just bought this sprint samsung moment a few weeks ago, and I was wondering why I can't upload mobile pics from my phone to facebook. I have the facebook app on my phone and it does not seem to let me upload mobile pic's. In order for me to upload pic's I have to go to the mobile version of facebook and upload the pic via some email wich then post the pic for u, but the problem is it seems to post my pic's side ways.
I know lots of folks with other phones some of them crappy that just click on the photo and select upload to facebook....why can't I do that on this phone? Why does this phone not give me the option to upload from the pic? Why does the facebook app FOR android not let me upload photo's?
I recently used the USB to charge my phone on the laptop.Next time i went to look in my gallery most of my pics and videos are gone. i also can't find a folder on my computer that contains them. are they gone forever or is there a way to retrieve them?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHey fellow Galaxy users on the Bell network. Are any of you having problems with your phone dropping 3G and the only way to get it back on is to reboot your phone?
I'm running Galaxo 1.6.3.3 but even when I was running Samsung's 1.6 release at least twice a week it'll just drop the 3G signal. As far as I can tell there's no rhyme or reason for it. I'll notice that I haven't heard any notifications in a while (usually if I hear it tell me that I've got an email I just check it on the computer I'm on) and when I check it the signal is dropped. There's no pattern for it, I've sent texts or made phone calls and it worked fine, 1/2 hour later....nothing.
Just wondering if it's just me or if others are having the same problem. Maybe if it's just me I can try to swing a deal with Bell for a Legend (like the Galaxy but can't stand the official support (Drakaz, on the other hand, is my hero)).

I have the samsung drivers on there that I used to root. Could that be it? I have windows 7 I have turned on and off debugging, didnt work. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my captivate for about 2 months. Lately, it seems to be dropping almost every single call I make - sometimes 30 seconds in, sometimes a few minutes in. I'm making the calls in my apt in the middle of a big city where I have 5 bars and 3G service.
I can't say for sure but I feel like this really started happening after the JH7 update. I couldn't get my update OTA because my phone wouldn't communicate with the ATT servers, so I did it through the version available on xda of JH7.
Okay so my phone keeps dropping 3G and it wont be able to find it for hours but then it will find it then lose it again. I tried restarting the phone and it still is doing it. I also looked on my brother's Evo and his has connection when mine does not so I know it is not a problem with our tower, any suggestions on what to do.

Will doing a factory reset be fine or do I have to un-root before returning? Also, does anyone know if doing a factory reset would improve the reception? View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Captivate. She often holds it to her ear with her shoulder like you do a traditional phone (no easy feat with a flat rectangle). She keeps having issues with calls dropping, and we think it's that when she moves her head, the phone wakes up the keypad and then her cheek hits the "end call" button. Is there any way to make the keypad totally lock during a call, that simple movement won't reactiviate it?

Are these two things related? I swear I've seen it before where it drops to 1x to send the text, and then goes back to 3G..
I guess it's also possible that the phone is dropping to 1x, but the bar up top isn't updating?
I believe an app I installed put over 20 megs of space on my phone's memory (not the SD card) and when I uninstalled it, it did not remove it.

I had Verizon about 2 years ago before I switched to AT&T for the iPhone. I can't remember ever having issues with dropped calls before, and that's what made me come back to Verizon from AT&T. However, since I'm back I'm having all kinds of trouble with dropped calls. I'm dropping 1-2 calls a day. Also, I find I'm rarely seeing more than 1-2 bars of service, especially indoors. What gives? I know Verizon has the best coverage in my area, so is it the phone, or just my phone?
