So I like to show my phone to other people and I want to really WOW them with some great HD pics and Videos/Movies/Video clips. Does anyone have any Photos or Videos that I can download that look great on the Captivate?

It works great, except for the fact that I can seemingly only choose between either Video or Photo to present the user with, not both at the same time. Is there a good way to do this with:

Is there anyway to change where the Videos and Photos taken with the camera is stored. My phone is rooted and flashed with the JI2 firmware and also loaded with the Captivate camera app. Currently photos and videos are both being put in the Internal SD's "camera" folder under DCIM and I'd like to make videos be saved elsewhere.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince I updated to Froyo when the official one was released for the UK my Gallery has been almost useless, it now sorts photos based on where they were taken which I don't want and it doesn't show any new photos/videos I take, possibly because the phone saves them to the external SD card now instead of the internal one. Is there anyway to fix this? I've looked everywhere for some gallery settings but I can't find anything, to change the sorting etc.. Or can anyone recommend a half decent gallery app? I just want something that shows the recent photos I've taken...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my Samsung Captivate at my local AT&T store on November 20th. Everything has been pretty good with it except trying to watch videos. It doesn't matter what site I'm trying to watch videos from, youtube or any other, my Captivate doesn't seem to be able to download the video fast enough. It will play for 15 seconds or so until it reaches the end of what it has downloaded at the time, then freezes and will wait until it downloads the full video before starting up again. It's done this even when I had a 3G signal. It can take several minutes for it to download a 2 minute video. I've had it right beside my friend's iPhone, downloading at the same time, same video and he has no problem. A Samsung tech told me to try and watch the video in Wi-fi. That's great and all, but I shouldn't have to. Everything else has been good on the fun but trying to watch videos (which I like doing). Are their any settings I could change that may fix this problem? I deleted all my apps and it still does the same.

I have tried using Vplayer but it is too laggy. any other solutions besides converting the videos? I try to avoid conversions as I do not want to have quality..

With the backflip it was so simple, take the pic, tap share, tap facebook.I tried that on this phone but when I do share my options are picasa, bluetooth, gmail, email, allshare, messaging and online locker.And when I log onto facebook through the website or app there is no option for uploading photos.I have googled this topic to death and find absolutely nothing.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I select a picture from the "My Pictures" menu, I then hit the right soft key to get into the "Options" menu and I scroll down to and select the fourth option, "Zoom/Rotate". When I am finally done zooming/ rotating the picture, it seems as though I'm left with no option to save it. I've pressed every button that I could think of and nothing seems to work. I can't imagine that this option is not available.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWell, I am sure that at some point in time you all have sent a video but I am trying to figure out why I can't send videos. Last night, I was performing at a night club and I wanted to send the videos to friends and what not so they can hear our singing. However, the video clips are anywhere from 8-20 seconds long and they are not in HD quality but 3gp. Yet it tells me the message can't be attached because it's too large.
Today I had a show, and my brother recorded me and I wanted to send the video out and it still says the same thing. Is there anything I can do? I love At & T but I am wondering does this have anything to do with their Data cap because when I had my Droid X and Incredible on Verizon. I was able to send videos up to 30 seconds long to phones via MMS but I can't send videos on my Captivate. I couldn't send videos either on the Xperia X10, I had, the aria I had, and now the backflip. (I am just using it because I love motoblur for the social networking, not the phone).
Reason why I ask is because I have a 25 second video that I recorded with my phone and when I try to send it to my buddy through text message it says that the file is too big? So I said give me your email address and I'll send there and lo and behold the file is too big even for email. smh? It's only 25 seconds!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't remember how I did it, but I was somehow able to upload all the photos that I've taken with the camera to Picasa. Now I have quite a few videos in there as well, but I do remember a message saying that videos are not supported by Picasa and that only the photos would be uploaded. I'm now trying to do the same thing, but whenever I choose the entire 'Camera' folder to upload to Picasa, the only 'Share' options are YouTube, Gmail, and Bluetooth. Does anyone know how I may have done that the first time, or a way to sync photos from the gallery to Picasa web albums?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm seeing strange photos in this widget when I click on the weather part of the widget, and then select the white helmet-looking icon that pops up second from the left. A sequence of about five photos pop up. They appear to be photos taken from the road in and around the city I traveled to today. One photo has today's date time-stamped on it...I'm not taking any photos today so not sure why they would appear.
I'm sure there is a simple explanation, I just can't figure out what the photos are supposed to be and why they pop up from within this widget.
Since day one when I went on youtube to watch a video it asked me do you want to view view in browser or video?I liked deciding because if I clicked browser I could read and post comments..but I accidentally clicked the video viewer as daily and can't change it back.Now when I click a video on youtube I can't read or post any comments.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am so frustrated with Double Twist. I downloaded the samsung drivers and double twist immediately fount my captivate. I downloaded some of my itunes music. While I was trying to download some of my video, Double Twist went blank and could no longer find my captivate. I have redownloaded the drivers, but the captivate is not being found.
Any suggestions?
Also, any idea how I can get some of my songs OFF of the Captivate?

View 24 Replies View RelatedRandomly, usually a day after I take a photo or shoot a movie, the files in my gallery get broken, and I can't access them. They work just fine directly after I take them, but after some time they are unaccessible. My phone gallery looks like this: Some photos/videos work, others don't. After downloading them to my computer Windows can't read them either. Is anyone familiar with this problem? What can I do? SD card - 32GB, formatted in the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOK new owner of an LG Ally. I want to get my photos and videos off my old sd card copied to my new, much larger sd card. I wont read in my pc unless I format it and I don't want to do that.
It's no doubt easy but it's making me crazy. System is a whole lot different than Im used to.
So I've went into the /data/data/com.snapchat.android/ folder, and it is only about 200KB, so the image/video files can't be stored there.
I also noticed if you have a new message, and you close and open the app, it will have to redownload it. So it seems that snapchat is storing the images in the RAM.
So I dumped the ram of my snapchat PID, using this method. I had to download a compiled gdb binary.
I then used photoRec to scan all the *.dump files [I concatenated them all first, the file was about 100MB]. For filesystem I said "Other."
All I got was one txt file. It seemed to be xml, and contained a lot of usernames of my friends, but that's all.
Is there a setting I can turn on that will automatically save photos and videos to my SD card?
