Motorola Droid :: Hide Photos From Gallery App But Not From Music Player?
Aug 10, 2010When I open my gallery to look at the actual photos I have taken, I have about 50 other "picture" folders showing up that are really music folders that just happen to have album art in them.
I DO NOT want to use the .nomedia or ".foldername" method because then my music player will not see and be able to display the album art. I just want the Gallery app to ignore pictures in the music folder. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Motorola Droid X :: Automatically Shrink Photos / Videos When Emailing?
Oct 17, 2010So I recently got a Droid X which I love, but I am having a really tough time emailing photos and videos. I'm looking for something that will automatically shrink photo's when I want to email them. The iPhone does this automatically. I am constantly sending pics of my kids to my parents but at 2.5 MB per pic it take WAY too long to send (if the email client even allows it). I am aware that I can resize each and every photo and THEN send them, but that seems very time consuming and unnecessary. Is there anything that will automatically shrink photo's when I attempt to email multiple pics?

Sep 27, 2010Just got my Droid 2 FedEx today, and am getting her all set up. I was using an LG Dare before. I had an micro 2GB card that had all my pictures, music, videos and contact photos (picture ID pictures).
It was easy going from an old Verizon phone to another old Verizon phone because the file structure was the same for all the SD formatted cards (MY_PIX, MY_FLIX, etc...).
In looking at the 8GB card that came w/ the Droid 2, there seems to be no such structure. There are directories, (.android_secure, Android, logs, and LOST.DIR) but I am not sure where to put my videos, pictures, etc. Any thoughts?
General :: Motorola G3 - Can No Longer Download Photos And Videos To PC / Lost Access
May 16, 2013I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. I do however hear the appropriate sounds it makes when I plug it into my usb.( hardware insert.wav and hardware remove.wav)

Oct 4, 2010Randomly, usually a day after I take a photo or shoot a movie, the files in my gallery get broken, and I can't access them. They work just fine directly after I take them, but after some time they are unaccessible. My phone gallery looks like this: Some photos/videos work, others don't. After downloading them to my computer Windows can't read them either. Is anyone familiar with this problem? What can I do? SD card - 32GB, formatted in the phone.

LG Ally : Getting My Photos Videos Off - Old Sd Card Copied To My New
Aug 29, 2010OK new owner of an LG Ally. I want to get my photos and videos off my old sd card copied to my new, much larger sd card. I wont read in my pc unless I format it and I don't want to do that.
It's no doubt easy but it's making me crazy. System is a whole lot different than Im used to.
General :: Where Does Snapchat Store Photos / Videos
Mar 9, 2013So I've went into the /data/data/com.snapchat.android/ folder, and it is only about 200KB, so the image/video files can't be stored there.
I also noticed if you have a new message, and you close and open the app, it will have to redownload it. So it seems that snapchat is storing the images in the RAM.
So I dumped the ram of my snapchat PID, using this method. I had to download a compiled gdb binary.
I then used photoRec to scan all the *.dump files [I concatenated them all first, the file was about 100MB]. For filesystem I said "Other."
All I got was one txt file. It seemed to be xml, and contained a lot of usernames of my friends, but that's all.

Nov 29, 2010Since I updated to Froyo when the official one was released for the UK my Gallery has been almost useless, it now sorts photos based on where they were taken which I don't want and it doesn't show any new photos/videos I take, possibly because the phone saves them to the external SD card now instead of the internal one. Is there anyway to fix this? I've looked everywhere for some gallery settings but I can't find anything, to change the sorting etc.. Or can anyone recommend a half decent gallery app? I just want something that shows the recent photos I've taken...

Jan 11, 2010I finally uninstalled Home ++, as bad as it killed me to do it, I couldn't tolerate the force closes and bog down any longer. My Droid is screaming fast now, but I plan on reinstalling Home++ when the issues get worked out. One of the things I liked was the way it hid the status bar. Is there any other app or option out there to hide the status on the stock home?
