I'd like to know of a way to transfer my videos and photos from my android phone to my ipad and if my ipad will actually play the files?
Id like to be able to edit the videos in imovie. Something android is lacking unfortunately .

I'm an old Apple veteran who was rocking iPhone for about 6 years, starting with the original. However I wasn't due for an upgrade until December, so I couldn't get an iPhone 5 as soon as it was released... as fortune would have it, I found an ad on Craigslist where a fella was trading his Galaxy S3 straight up for a "iPhone 4 or 5". So we met at the Verizon store and I gave him my iPhone 4 32gb and he gave me his Galaxy S3 16gb with a 32gb SD card. Talk about a SCORE!
Anyway, I've been learning the Android ropes for about two weeks now. Here is my question/dilemma: at the end of the month we are taking a vacation to Las Vegas and Disneyland. I anticipate recording lots of video and shooting lots of photos at Disneyland.
I would like to be able to edit my videos using iMovie on the iPad, but I'm not quite sure how I can get the video moved over. I'd rather not have to lug my MacBook Pro across the country with me.
Can I use the SD card adapter for the iPad to pull video off of my S3's Micro SD? Or will it see the correct folder?
I thought about Dropbox, but can't find a way to move the video from Dropbox into iMovie. (grr iOS)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Note 2 -android 4.1.2. I've come across an unusual problem today. I tried streaming videos and none of the videos are playing on both chrome and the defalt internet app. I always used the default browser video player.
When a video is clicked to play, the usual black screen appears but thereafter it just keeps loading with the circle going round in the middle (attached screen). But nothing happens. I have not installed any other apps since before nor any other mods.
What I have already tried. I have resetted app preference under app manager and stil the same issue
Tried installing MX player and tried to load the streaming video via mxplayer still same issue.
I have switched from Galaxy S4 to NOTE 3, i have both the devices but i want to copy my games data/progress to NOTE 3 how can i do that?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I've went into the /data/data/com.snapchat.android/ folder, and it is only about 200KB, so the image/video files can't be stored there.
I also noticed if you have a new message, and you close and open the app, it will have to redownload it. So it seems that snapchat is storing the images in the RAM.
So I dumped the ram of my snapchat PID, using this method. I had to download a compiled gdb binary.
I then used photoRec to scan all the *.dump files [I concatenated them all first, the file was about 100MB]. For filesystem I said "Other."
All I got was one txt file. It seemed to be xml, and contained a lot of usernames of my friends, but that's all.
I spent a considerable time and effort attaching photos to all my 100+ contacts. These photos were crops from larger photos so, stupidly in hindsight, I did not preserve any of them. I would like to copy all my contacts, complete with photos, to another phone. Copying the simple contact info is easy via the Gmail export/import procedure, but that does not copy the attached photos. Is there a simple way of copying contacts complete with photos?

One of my main queries is though, file transfer from my Galaxy to my MacBook Pro - why can't I see previews of what I'm transferring? I have to transfer the file to my MacBook, and then decide if I want to keep it or not because that's the only way it'll reveal what it is. I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. I do however hear the appropriate sounds it makes when I plug it into my usb.( hardware insert.wav and hardware remove.wav)

I deleted some videos by accident and I need to get them back. I don't have any added memory, everything is written to the internal storage. ALL of the recovery software I have tried is asking for USB mass storage or doesn't work.
DiskDigger App also doesn't work. I read that mass storage is no longer available on 4.4.2. Supposedly everything connects with some new system called MTP.
How can I get my files back from the internal memory? There MUST be some way to do this. There must be some way to read the entire internal storage disk!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI finally switched to the droid after many years with my Iphone because I couldn't take the dropped calls anymore. I am pretty happy happy with the phone although I think it still needs a few updates. One of my biggest issues is how difficult it is to sync mp3's and photos to the droid. I have done plenty of research and the 2 best solutions for a mac seem to be Salling media and doubletwist. Both of these freeze during syncing and have never completed. I Find it really aggravating that there is no similar app to itunes or any easy way to sync.
