I bought it online around July 23 or 24 and I need to return it before my 30 day window is up. Can I bring it back to any AT&T Store or do I have to ship it back?
And if I ship it back today (8/22) and they don't receive it until say the 26th or 27th, can I still argue that I returned it within the return period?

I accidentally removed some needed default apps like Where and Gmail. So, I reset the phone via settings and also via boot up menu where you can install update.zip. However, resetting the phone in any way did not bring back the default software! What can I do at this point to get it back?

It has now disappeared and I cant find the information under Display, gestures & buttons to get it back. There is only 'notification flash' there but not like 'numerical notification'. I am in Australia and have been to my local Telstra store yesterday but they were not able to quickly bring it back. They said to wait for a technician but I did not have time to hang around.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've spent the last week or so retooling my launch screens with different launchers (LauncherPro Plus, Open Home, ADW) and I liked features of them all, but no one launcher had all the features I wanted and no one launcher looked completely ready for prime time. So yesterday I went back to TW, just to see what I was missing and found that I like it better than I did before. It's not on par with Sense (I had an Aria before I went to the Cap), but it's a well-executed UI with enough polish to make it look slick enough. The third party stuff was always a little janky and I had to futz with the phone to get it right. I come from a graphics background and, while I don't really dig the cartoony icons and I wish I had the option to select my own, it's a nice looking interface.

I had one paid app SystemPanel App / Task Manager and now its asking me to buy it again. Only way to fix this would be to restart Launcher Pro, after which I'll have to wait around 30 seconds to even a minute at time for everything to come back. View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I've been tinkering around with Odin and flashing to the many firmwares floating around- the latest is the JFM6 i9000 firmware.. Which also included flashing the CSC and kernel..
My question is, since I flashed the csc and kernel, how do I flash back to the stock JF6 rom that came with the phone? Just the pit and .tar (pda)? I have the firmware and the pit file.. just wondering what is entailed because of flashing the additional csc and kernel files as well.
Anyways, I've had this phone for almost two weeks now and I love it. The only two things that have bothered me is: 1) the battery icon, it'll look like 80% when really it's 60% and 2) when I press the button sometimes I'll have to hit it a couple of times to make the back button work.

View 18 Replies View Relateddoes anyone else have this issue where the deleted emails do get deleted but I get a notification within a minute that says 'new emails' and it will tell me that I have x new emails (x=number of emails I just deleted)but those emails are not actually there, just the notification comes up.I just clear it and all is good but i'm curious if anyone else has this issue.
