I tried searching bu found nothing relating to this. Anyone know how to disable "low battery" pop-up when your battery level reaches 15%? I really hate the annoying sound too. Maybe I can at least disable the sound, and I don't mean just lowering the volume.

I looked around the web and found a few solutions, one is to delete/rename the LowBattery.ogg file - this removes the noise but keeps the pop up.
Another solution is to get Sound Manager here: [URL]
And set System Volume down to zero, but I don't know what the risks are of doing that - it sounds rather overkill to set it to zero just for one thing, and what other sounds are linked to the system volume?
Any way to completely stop the popup from coming up? I know it's there to remind me to recharge, but it's just so disruptive if I'm near the end of whatever I'm doing and it just pops up, even when I have the full intention to recharge it in a few minutes.
how to disable the low battery alert audio? I have disabled the popup, but I would like to also disable the audio. I tried deleting the lowbattery.ogg file in the root media file, but then it just played a different audio file for the low battery. I am on a rooted Nexus 5 running 4.4.2

Is it just me that is still having problems with the swype pop up warning every time I turn the phone into landscape view, even when I'm just doing things like web browsing?.. I am using the beta version of the software (originally downloaded it from the swype site before it was pulled, but un-installed it due to problems getting it to work: I'm now using the same beta version that is knocking around: droid.swype.beta5612).

Has anyone had this happen to them. My Droid was sitting on my desk next to me, it had about 80% battery life left, I get a few txt messages, and then its giving me the warning that my battery life is 15% and to plug it into the charger. Well I put it on the charger, and not even 30 seconds go by, and its fully charged. This has only happened once so far, but I am concerned is the battery slowly dying out, or is it just a glitch in the phone?

View 2 Replies View Relatedso i have an n1 for at&t and i just got the ota update for froyo last night. today i'm trying out the default web browser to see what kinds of flash videos i can see. i already downloaded the flash player from the market. plus i went into the setting for the browser with regards to "about:debug" then changed the UAString to desktop. but for some reason when i go to a website like nbc.com to try and go watch a full episode of the office, it only loads the mobile version of the site. also when i check out the facebook page it always automatically loads the "touch" version of the site. how can i get it to default to the desktop regular full site version? can anyone tell me a way around this or a setting change other than try a different browser?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to permanently disable anti-aliasing? I find anti-aliasing a little irritating. It simply smooths out images which essentially strips out details. I've never liked it.
I find myself slowly scrolling back and forth in the browser to disable the anti-aliasing so that the images I view are more defined.
It seems most poeple complained that the anti-aliasing slowed down performance but that isn't my issues. I simply don't like how it degrades an image.
I'm using nexus 7 2013 version and use a cover from nikkin. This my cover is able to lock screen when I close the cover. But I don't like this feature and want to disable that. How can I do?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAs Nexus One is the only model which has already "partly" updated to Froyo,Before Froyo, if I wanna enable/disable mobile data usage, I used a passive way, changing the APN server setting, to fool the system so it couldn't connect.In Froyo, there is a new option under Setings -> Wireless & Network Settings -> Mobile Networks called Data enabled/disabled, which is a much direct approach than changing the APN.But up to today, I've yet to see a widget which targets at this option. Currently I hv made a 3G shortcut to that setting page on to my home screen. Really hope there will be a toggle widget instead!So how do u guys enable/disable data usage at the moment without a handy widget on Froyo?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got my phone and the battery might still be stabilizing, and of course I'm fiddling with it a lot and I've installed heaps of apps, but I can't quite work out something. I unplugged my phone at midnight and this morning found my phone at 70% charge. I also got a message from my provider that I'd used up all my data. I checked and found that my phone had used up (sent+received) 30MB overnight. Google Maps was the biggest culprit - it received 700K but it sent almost 8MB. This is while the phone was sitting on my bedside table! And of course, as I'm driving to work (not using the phone at all), Google Maps was transmitting my location information back to it's servers so that the traffic flow is updated on their systems.
That's cool, but there doesn't appear to be any way to disable or turn off this in GM's configuration, or even exit the app. It seems that having My Location services enabled gives Google Maps (and I'm sure other apps like weather, gmail, Contacts, etc.) free reign to send and transmit data all the time. I don't want to have to disable My Location services completely; I want finer control over things on a per-app basis. Having Google Maps transmit 8MB overnight might not seem like a lot, but when the phone is idle, it disables wireless (to save battery) and thus all data is going through 2G/3G and I'm incurring data charges.
Wouldn't it be cool if I could tell my phone to switch wifi on and switch 3g reception off when it senses that I am at work or home based on my gps coordinates and then reverse that when I'm on the road i.e. not at those coordinates I set. Is there an app that does this?

Reason: I cracked my screen from the bottom left of the screen to just shy of the top right corner. The lower section, below the crack, is not responsive to touch... and the dots I need (I use the pattern pass) are on this side because I can't flip the tablet.
How This Happened: I turned on rotation lock with the tablet upside down to keep it there... But then my Nexus 7 decided to restart randomly and keep rotation-lock on but coming back in the default orientation, aka the wrong way that I need it to be.
I'm loving my Nexus 5, my first Android phone. I use Pattern Lock. I want to disable Pattern Lock when I'm at my home wifi. I did some research and it looks like apps can only turn off Pattern Lock when the phone is rooted. Is this true? I don't want to root my phone and I'd rather not have to enter Pattern Lock a hundred times a day.

I hate charging my battery before it drains off. So if I wanted to stream music on the phone at work, do you think there is an app that'll disable battery charging if I have the phone plugged into power plug? basically draw juice from wall and disable battery from use or charge.
