HTC Incredible :: Email Client And Disable Sense
Jun 29, 2010I cant seem to get HTML working on my HTC Email client on an Active Sync - I use hosted exchange by App river - supposed to be 2007. When I go to click on the setting for Message Format, it says Plain Text and is greyed out. I know there are a few other threads on this, but this is a bit different...
1. Is there a separate inherent Android Email client that will achieve this?
2. I dont want to use Touchdown or K-9
Secondly, I cant seem to disable Sense on this phone - is that something HTC has shut off? I clear defaults and hit home, and it reboots to Sense everytime. I was trying to do this to see what the built-in email would be like.

General :: HTC Sense Port To ZTE Blade
Mar 17, 2012So a couple of developers and I are porting HTC Sense to the ZTE Blade. I have come here for guidance for porting it. So what I have is a MPDI port from the HTC Salsa which boots. I want to port the ROM from MDPI to HDPI.
Should I get the system apps from the Desire S and put the .pngs into the other Salsa apps and overlap the MDPI ones? Also there are more pngs in the Desire S than the Salsa one. So would I copy over the existing ones only or all of them? And do I rename the folders from MDPI to HDPI or leave them?

Oct 29, 2012I have an HTC Rezound. But this issue goes deeper than just the Rezound or even Sense phones.
I installed a dialer app that I *LOVE*...it is faster and more usable than sense, and even themeable. It works perfectly. The problem is that for incoming called, Sense keeps rearing it's fugly head and forcing me to use it.
I have tried disabling various processes and that damn app still comes up on incoming calls. How to make the fugly Sense dialer go away for good without having to root? I do have ICS installed.

under "Settings:Apps:All apps" there was a "Flickr for HTC Sense". I can't uninstall that, or open it, only Force Stop.I can only see the main "HTC Sense" under Settings-Apps too, so can't open it directly to tell it to stop looking for Flickr.

May 29, 2010So I'm running android 2.1 on my Sprint Hero, but I want to disable the Sense UI so I can run the Android OS default home (just to check it out). Most of the things I've read online say to do the following...

3)manage applications
4)HTC Sense
5) Clear default
The only problem is, there is no default to clear. I can't even click on it and force close does not work.

Also, i want to remove some stock apps like Peep from my phone as well, but they do not show up under app uninstaller. I've read that root explorer app can accomplish this, but the app was really confusing and I didn't understand. Can someone help me out?
