View 9 RepliesGetting into android ownership after years of Nokia, and loving it. Is it possible though, that the LED or track ball can be made to blink so I know the phone's still on and not died? Blinks away fine when battery is low. Also, is it possible to have an audible alert to critical battery?

As on iPhone, they can customize it likes this:
I looked around the web and found a few solutions, one is to delete/rename the LowBattery.ogg file - this removes the noise but keeps the pop up.
Another solution is to get Sound Manager here: [URL]
And set System Volume down to zero, but I don't know what the risks are of doing that - it sounds rather overkill to set it to zero just for one thing, and what other sounds are linked to the system volume?
Any way to completely stop the popup from coming up? I know it's there to remind me to recharge, but it's just so disruptive if I'm near the end of whatever I'm doing and it just pops up, even when I have the full intention to recharge it in a few minutes.
Has anyone had this happen to them. My Droid was sitting on my desk next to me, it had about 80% battery life left, I get a few txt messages, and then its giving me the warning that my battery life is 15% and to plug it into the charger. Well I put it on the charger, and not even 30 seconds go by, and its fully charged. This has only happened once so far, but I am concerned is the battery slowly dying out, or is it just a glitch in the phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedA random warning message occassionally pops up on my samsung galaxy fascinate. It says: "Warning: Battery is losing charge too fast. Tap here to download and fix now". At the top of my phone, on the status bar, there is a small icon of a red battery with a line through it. How did I start getting this notification and how do I get rid of it? It's like a spyware or something, I think.

I an very new to the Eris, so I apologize if this is a simple change that I just haven't found yet.
All of the sudden, I am getting the low storage space icon above. This has happened 2 other times. I do a hard reset when that happens. I checked my phone this morning, I had 120 mb internal memory, and now I am down to 2.26mb of memory. My phone gets warm, battery drains. Nothing is running!

this just happened to my phone and I'm wondering if i should take it back before the 30 day mark.
Sprint just tweeted about a new update for Hero. It would come up under "HTC software" section of system updates. Doesn't seem like it does much at all, but reports are that it will kill root.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried searching bu found nothing relating to this. Anyone know how to disable "low battery" pop-up when your battery level reaches 15%? I really hate the annoying sound too. Maybe I can at least disable the sound, and I don't mean just lowering the volume.

But now I'd like to remove it from there. I cant find this in the settings? I tried removing the program from the home screen, then re-adding it, but it didn't give me the options like I was displayed initially. Any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHad the x10 for a few months now, and at the start i loved it!! Yes the battery life was an issue but got better over time although can basically never leave any apps running.
But now, my touchscreen is totally messed up, i touch one area of the phone and it either doesn't respond or it just starts going crazy. Countless times i have had to either lock my phone and try again or switch it off completely which is a task in itself because of the screen not responding so the only solution is to remove the battery. When texting, i for example will press the letter a next thing i know its hit every other key other than a. I'm even struggling to answer my phone when receiving a call as again the screen won't respond correctly to unlock it.
My partner got her phone at the exact same time and hers is doing the exact same thing. Is this a common thing for the handset?
I already had one to replace the one that it comes with at home so I didn't have Sprint open it to replace it. I forgot to ask as well.I've searched online and the "chin" hero seems to have a little dent where you can prop it open. The Sprint Hero looks pretty solid... but I know you have to open it to replace the SD card so my question is how do I do it without ruining the molding?
