As simple as the title states, I find the low battery notifications annoying and intrusive; I am quite able to tell my battery is low just by looking at the indicator. how does one go about disabling these notifications?

I'm not using BeholdII's Sms program, but Handscent instead. This means that when I click the '5 new notifications' thing at the top, it doesn't go away, because it doesn't see me as having opened messaging. How can I disable this and just use the HS notifications?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI connected a usb cord that came with my galaxy, to the front usb ports of my new computer. I built it myself but i think i connected the from case usb cords wrong to the mobo or may be the mobo is defective. My phone turns off as soon as i connect it to the usb cord connected to the front. Could the battery be screwed? My phone still boots up, it just doesnt charge as fast. If not at all i left it connected to the wall charger all night tonight and it was only half charged by morning. Should I just order a new battery off ebay for my galaxy?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought the Samsung Behold 2 and installed the Behold 2 1.6 No Twiz from this forum and so far I'm loving it! Much faster than the stock rom. Now the only problem I have is that when I use an app with ads, such as Alarm Clock Plus V2, I get this "Subscription Upgrade Required" page from my browser since I don't have a data plan. I really don't need a data plan since I just connect through Wi-fi to download all necessary apps/games from the market and use the web. So my question is, is it possible to disable these notifiers? I mean, if I'm connected through Wi-fi I don't get these notifiers, but that's not always the case.

Everything else in 1.6.3.3 seems to be behaving quite well for me, even taking pictures.Haven't had the pixelated or no image thing at all.Is there something I am missing that I could try ?

I've set my settings to receive notifications, but so far I've set my notifications to come to my email. I've heard from someone that google and facebook are having some sort of differences. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 that just got the 4.4 update this morning. Afterwards it had to redownload/update nearly every app on the device as well as all my SNES and Playsation ROMs which I though was odd.
Now all the notifications for thos downloads will not go away. I've cleared them all at once, I've cleared them all individually. When I turn the screen off and then turn it back on an dunlock the phone all those notifications are back in the notification bar.
Lately I have realized that at home I don't get notifications from most of my apps. I have notifications turned on and I do get them pushed to me when I go to other places with high-speed internet. The internet at home isn't blazing fast but isn't slow at 13 Mbps. I don't get notifications for most games and some other apps, like hangouts, where I could end up missing out on a conversation because I never got the notification. I get notifications about new emails and updates from the Play Store but that's about it. Is there something I can try or do to fix this problem and get my notifications?

I was wandering if anybody could help me with the email notification problem im currently having. Iphones and blackberrys all give you a notification when you receive a new email or a new facebook message. The galaxy s does nothing when you receive a new mail. In settings you can select a ringtone, set it to vibrate when you receive a message. But nothing happens. The only way to find out if there any new messages is by clicking on the email app ( in which i am using hotmail).
