does anyone know if it's possible to make a phone dock on the bottom of the screen like on the incredible. i mean, i think it's kind of ridiculous that this isn't standard....

My keyboard on my droid is like becoming less sticky. Like it seems like the adhesive underneath the buttons isn't working so the buttons make a noise every time I push them. I was wondering if this happened to anyone else or if my phone is just messed up because I wasn't sure if its even worth it to get a new one or if it'll just happen again.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAnyone found out how you can dim the 4 buttons when your droid is in media dock? I know that they are controlled by the light sensor, and light up when in darkness. Anyway to stop the light sensor? I have tried the brightness, it is set at none, still the little 4 buttons light up as soon as it gets dark. Dim the screen and still can read by the buttons. Why have a dimmer that only dims the screen?

Everytime I go select it, it lets me check smart alarm, and pick the duration I want (5 mins) and then the sound I want (breeze) but it still plays the regular alarm melody everytime- even though I can physically see that smart alarm is checked. View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running BB 0.4 and have been for some time.I use the multimedia dock that launches the clock.apk. The proplem I have is when I hit the dim button for when I go to sleep after a while the screen times out. It lasts for quite some time so it makes me think that once the phone hits 100% it defaults to my 1 minute screen time out because the phone stays on for at least an hour (I know this because ill plug it in and watch some tv then go to bed)Back when I was on nexbeast or before froyo I used to hit the dim then eventually it would default to a clock that would kind of bounce around the screen.I dont want to go back to nexbeast but surprisingly enough this is making me angry. I want to be able to use the clock for my room and the alarm clock but I also want to be able to dim the screen so I can sleep.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHere's another one in my quest for customization using the multimedia dock. Unfortunately, I have sub-par VZ service in many parts of my house. I'm considering the Wireless Extender ($249 - ouch), but until I make that call, I've been manually forwarding my cell phone to my home phone line.
Question: would there be a way to set up a script or functionality that would tell the Droid to forward to home when in dock and un-forward when taken out of the dock. Might be kinda cool. I think one of the mobile companies used to sell a dock that did just this in the early 2000s.
Running 2.2 from OTA when I take the phone out of a dock (Multimedia or car), the home screen has to rebuild it self. Meaning all the icons are slow to come back. think of it as on a windows machine Explorer dies and you have to do a start/run/explorer to get it back. Only difference i that this is automatic, just slow to get responsive again. Even swipping through the screen is slow at first. Is froyo, google's VISTA?

I downloaded Handcent SMS. Which I LOVE btw. It makes messaging so much better. However, I want to either change the Icon, or the Text below it. It's smaller and stick out like a sore thumb. And shit the icon down, it's a bit too "high" in comparison to my other icons.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe other night, something updated on my HTC One (running Venom with GoLauncher EX) and the icons got all jacked-up. Some Google apps reappeared on the dock, a widget got pushed on top of another, etc. It looks like when the Google apps updated, they felt the need to reinstall themselves on the dock -- not sure, but that's not my main question.
When all of this happened, I lost the "grid" looking icon that will show All Apps and I'm not sure how to get it back. At this time, I can only see the apps I've put on my "home" pages, and in order to see All Apps, I must do an "add" and browse that way.
How do I get the all-apps grid thing back?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have an HTC Incredible. when i was using a Moto Droid i was using GDE with it. one thing i really liked from GDE was the scrolling application dock widgets. i would simply use GDE on my Inc but i do also like sense and all of the sense widgets. it would be great if somebody, or even the maker of GDE would make an app that is just like the application dock from GDE that would work on any launcher including sense.i've looked at Ultimate Faves and it's nothing like it. there was something kinda similar that i had tried but it wasn't close enough. it had buttons instead of just dragging and scrolling.
