View 2 Replies View RelatedMoving over from Palm, I have been with them from the days of the Treo 600. And I love the look of the Palm Pre but went with the Sprint HTC Hero. So I was wondering if there is a app the will give me a wave icon dock like what is on the Pre? I have a 3rd party app that I used on my Centro and loved it!
View 10 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how where I can get more dock icons like these? Mainly looking for a "Gallery" or "Pics" one (amongst a few others), and I haven't used PS in years so I don't think I could custom make one unless there's an easier method than making them from scratch.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe other night, something updated on my HTC One (running Venom with GoLauncher EX) and the icons got all jacked-up. Some Google apps reappeared on the dock, a widget got pushed on top of another, etc. It looks like when the Google apps updated, they felt the need to reinstall themselves on the dock -- not sure, but that's not my main question.
When all of this happened, I lost the "grid" looking icon that will show All Apps and I'm not sure how to get it back. At this time, I can only see the apps I've put on my "home" pages, and in order to see All Apps, I must do an "add" and browse that way.
How do I get the all-apps grid thing back?
does anyone know if it's possible to make a phone dock on the bottom of the screen like on the incredible. i mean, i think it's kind of ridiculous that this isn't standard....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this app called Android Taskbar which is a widget that adds a taskbar type window for your homescreen. Its pretty nifty so far, but honestly, it'd look so much better if I could add this widget button that opens the taskbar/start menu onto my dock. I'm running LauncherPro Plus, and it doesn't allow widget buttons on the dock.

Anybody having problems with bringing up the Multimedia Dock Widget/App
I have an ezstand and it is supposed to activate the home dock with a magnet...however it is very intermittent with mint.
Also, I actually see an error when the dock screen comes up (something like "Problem with loading Multimedia App"
I am guessing I might somehow have a bad version of the multimedia dock widget.. but cant seem to find a way to locate it to perhaps reinstall?
I've been using Go SMS Pro for a long time and have never had this problem. When I get a new text, the Go icon shows up in my notification bar as usual (I have it set to do this), but when I access that text message either from the notification bar pull-down or through the Go SMS app itself, the icon still remains in my notification bar. The only way to remove it is to pull down my notifications and hit "clear". I believe I have all my settings in order (stock notifs off, etc.).
Using Android Rezound (Gingerbread - still!), not rooted, Go Launcher Pro
Is there an app/widget that will auto-hide the dock like the Windows taksbar that will either work in conjunction with LauncherPro or have its own dock?

View 21 Replies View RelatedThe Original email app on my galaxy s3 one day decided to become stuck on 1 unread email. Whether i have read all emails or 5 unread emails, the app displays 1 unread email.I have tried 'Clearing cache' and 'Clear data' several times on both the email app and gmail(Gmail just for the sake of it even though it is unrelated)also, deleted all my inbox, junk and trash emails online. However, no matter what i do the icon still displays 1 unread email.
My phone is not rooted and has been and still working perfectly fine apart from this issue.I know that the issue isn't that big of a deal since technically email and everything is working, but that 1 on the email icon really annoys me.I have uploaded a screenshot of what i'm talking about just incase i haven't made myself clear.
Have just got my HTC Desire. I switched the phone on for the first time and it's stuck on a screen with a green icon on. The icon is a down arrow with two arrows going around in a circle. What am I supposed to do here? I've pressed on the screen and held for a few seconds, pressed and held each of the buttons and no response. Not even the power button works.

View 3 Replies View RelatedNo root..Firmware v. B104...New phone, got it in late December 2012. Handled with great care. Battery icon and battery graph stuck on 50%. Never know how much battery juice I've got left. No warnings, just powers off when it's empty.
Tried:
- Factory reset
- Attempted hard reset, but I'm not sure it worked, 'cause nothing special happened on my screen.
- Completely draining the battery (as an equivalent to removing the battery. Non-removable battery on this one)
I have been looking for firmware updates, but I can't find any for my B104, and if I have understood it correctly, applying an update for the B226 will most probably render my device useless.I am quite satisfied with this phone, it is magnificent, so I do not want to root it unless I absolutely have to. For some odd reason, my project is generating two icons, same name, launches the same project, in the app drawer. I can't figure out what is causing this. Does anyone have any suggestions? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have some questions on the weather widget. This is just the default one that comes with phone.
I thought it was supposed to update to your current location? I have the gps on and I even forced a manual refresh, but it is stuck on my home town.
The other problem is really odd. My wife's phone is showing one town over from us, not our town. And when she tries to add our town, it doesn't even find it. Yet it is on mine. We tried using the name and the zip code and it doesn't find either. How odd is that? Any ideas?
I have been happily using Weather & Toggle widget since getting my Droid a few months ago. All of a sudden though it will not refresh the weather or forecast. This is true even if I do a forced refresh. I have also tried removing the clock/weather widget from my screen and re-adding it. No luck. It remains stuck on yesterday's high of 80 degrees and sunny. Considering its cloudy about about 65 today this is clearly wrong. It was showing 80/sunny at 5am this morning when it was still dark!
Also, in the 4 day forecast section you get by tapping the weather portion of the widget, it starts with Tuesday. It should start with today, Wednesday. This is by far my favorite app/widget so far but its completely useless if it remains stuck like this.
I've searched and cannot find this topic. Does anyone know how to get Google Navigation to enter "Car Dock Mode"?It's mentioned on google's site. Is it for the Droid only at this point or other "dock aware" phones? Google Maps Navigation for mobile

View 10 Replies View RelatedI would like to write a widget that emulates the look of an application launcher shortcut. In particular I want the white font label on a black, semi-transparent background. As it should look the same as the launcher shortcut I wouldn't like too much to imitate the actual look, but to re-use/copy it. Any idea where I can get that?I checked the launcher app and found application-boxed.xml, but it doesn't seem to do what I want and I am probably way off anyway.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a widget that is meant to change its icon every time it receives the Update broadcast. However, the widget never manages to display its icon properly, displaying the text "Problem loading widget". The Logcat message is: WARN/AppWidgetHostView(612): updateAppWidget couldn't find any view, using error view
WARN/ App Widget HostView(612) : android.widget.RemoteViews$ActionException: can't find view: 0x7f060003 The code for my onUpdate is: public class ImageWidgetProvider extends AppWidgetProvider{private static final String TAG = "Steve"; public static final int[] IMAGES = { R.drawable.ic_launcher_alarmclock,/*and many more*/}; @Override public void onUpdate(Context context, AppWidgetManager appWidgetManager, int[] appWidgetIds){for (int appWidgetId : appWidgetIds) {Log.d(TAG, "onUpdate:"); int imageNum = (new java.util.Random().nextInt(IMAGES.length)); Log.d(TAG, Integer.toString (IMAGES[imageNum])); RemoteViews remoteView = new RemoteViews(context.getPackageName(), R.layout.widget); emoteView.setImageViewResource (R.id.image_in_widget, IMAGES[ imageNum]);Now when I hover the mouse over "R.id.image_in_widget" it brings up that its value is equal to 0x7f060003 - the view that it can't find according to Logcat. Using the second Log statement, I verified that IMAGES[imageNum] does indeed refer to a random image from the IMAGES array. (In case it matters, it comes out as a decimal value rather than a hexadecimal one.) Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
