I'm sure this has been previously posted but my people widget for lpp won't show my contacts picture...i have searched the devs forum for lpp and can't find a helpful thread...any help on how to get my contact pics to show would be appreciated

Anyone else have this issue or know a fix? Contact pictures show in contact details and in the contacts app, but not in the dial or when I get a call. Contact management is the only thing I don't like about my X.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy first experience with Android was 2 weeks ago when i finally received my Incredible (after having it on order for a month). I came from a Blackberry connected to my company's BES Server. I had started taking pictures of my contacts with my Blackberry and the pictures synced with the contacts in my Outlook.When I setup the Incredible to sync with the exchange server all of the pictures I had for my contacts instantly showed up as the contacts picture on the phone (just like on the Blackberry). I just figured that is how it is across all of the Android phones.Got my X last friday and found out that it apparently doesn't pull the contacts pictures from Exchange when i gets the rest of the data. Neither does it push pictures taken from the phone up to Exchange.My question is: is the Droid X's software lacking this feature normal for Android phones?Do Nexus One's and Samsung android phones sync contact photo's with Exchange?Trying to figure out if syncing contact photo's is just one of the extra niceties that come with the Incredible's Sense UI?
View 7 Replies View RelatedHere is what my Contacts look like in Gmail (See below). I imported phone numbers from old phone to the group "Phone Contacts" then got rid of old people and moved them to "Old Phone Contacts". I have it set to only show the 98 Phone Contacts in my contacts on the Droid. (Display Options - Only select "Phone Contacts") Then Facebook only updates those contacts. Then I tried to add a contact on the phone. New Contact --> then selected my google account to add it to. It would then add it to "My Contacts" and not a specific group. So when I go to my contacts in the phone i do not see the new contact because it is not in the "Phone Contacts" group.
See the problem? I tried to see if I could add the new contact to the group on setup of the contact. Nope. Any ideas on how best to do this? It is a real bummer.

I am still in the process of learning and customizing this phone so there may be a famous app that takes care of this but I did a search and found nothing. I am not a big fan of how the contact list shows friends from facebook/gmail/Phone. I only want it to show contacts that I have personally added on my phone. Is there a way I can arrange this. I have it to where it remembers phone contacts only when I hit contacts but as soon as restart, it goes right back to all contacts. It also comes up when I try to text someone or in the contact section of the dialer. I just dont like this. I don't mind that they are there, persay, but I don't want it to be default all the time. Is there a way to change this?
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I have my Facebook account set to sync with my contact but I use Google voice all the time for text and phone. Is there a way to get the pictures that go with my contact to show up when they text or call my gvoice number?
All my pictures are from Facebook so if everything works right the pictures I see in gvoice should be the same as the profile pix in FB.
Hopefully someone can help. All of the sudden all my contact pics are blurry when I place a call or receive a call.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just updated my ROM from Virtuous 2.6 to Virtuous 2.7. Ever since, my Facebook contact pics for almost all my people will not show up in the Messaging app, including my own pic. The pictures show up find under People (HTC's contacts), but won't show up in Messaging.
View 11 Replies View Relatedwhy are my contact pics so blurry? The only answers are for the Motorola droid and the "pathways" you take are difrerent than the droid eris. Ex: got mms with pic, long pressed and saved. Went to album, selected pic, pressed menu button, set as, then chose contact. I figured that was a standard way of doing it and it worked. Except thay when i get a call from contact the picture looks pixelated and blurry. But all other pics not set as contact loom AMAZING. Any help? Do I also need to wait for that Google update talked about in a previous thread about the motorola droid? On my 1st Hero with Orange they were perfectly clear however I now have 1 with T-mobile and the contact pictures are very blurry, almost unrecognisable. Anyone know why this would happen and how to fix it? It is the exact same pics from the same memory card that I used on the 1st phone, I just swapped it over to the new 1 when it arrived I should add that when I say contact pics, its only when m calling some1 and their face fills the screen that this happens

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got my first Android and am really digging the Google contacts integration. Especially with the Google+ profiles (even though.. who uses Google+??).
One issue I have, though, is that some of my contacts have G+ profile pics, and they show in my Hangouts app (when I text those people), but those pics do not show in the "Google People" app where I go when I want to look at my contacts. They also don't show in my phone dialer when I dial them by name.
Namely when i receive or send calls the contact pic (either from Google or FB sync) are really pixelated ,because they're low resolution,how can i force them to be bigger? i've alredy tried alternate dialer apps and am not satisfied with them,nor do i wish to use a 3rd party app.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen adding new contacts to the droid x, it added it as both a goggle contact and phone contact. (i only have one goggle account setup). I went into contacts -> menu -> more -> settings. I am UNABLE to check/unchecked the "Phone Contacts" (it is always checked). The goggle one i am able to check/unchecked. WHY and HOW can i toggle the phone contact? Also, backup assistant only takes PHONE contacts and not GOOGLE contacts...while g mail contact sync only takes goggle contacts and NOT PHONE contacts. How can one change phone contact to goggle contact? (i have seen posts all over but no answers...and just replies saying "i have the same problem") I am trying NOT to have two (2) different types of contacts. PHONE and GOOGLE. I just want goggle contacts ( or phone contacts. so i can at least use verizon's backup assistant.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.
