HTC Eris :: Pics That Are Sent In Saved Location That Can Only Be Accessed By Code
Nov 14, 2010With the stock pic on the eris is there a way to have pics that are sent to you in a saved location that can only be accessed by a code etc?
Basically, the degrading pics your bros send you. Wife, rightfully so, gets upset when she sees them in my phone and does occasionally look at my phone to cure her bouts of insecurity
I want to have it so if you look at pics you see certain ones but have to go extra steps to see the others.

Sep 16, 2010Sending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.

Sep 4, 2010I have 3 pictures in my gallery that were originally downloaded off my picasa acct. since then i have deleted them, or so i thought. the thumbnails of them are still showing in my gallery but when i select one, the pic enlarges for a split second then changes to what i guess is androids generic "pic not available" icon. why are they still showing as thumbnails and how can i delete them for good?

Jul 20, 2010I have the original Droid. Love it. Thinking of getting the Droid X. One question. How is the shutter compared to the original? Im satisfied with the pic quality from posted samples. But the original has a noticeable lag when taking one pic to the next making quick shots and successive shots not very practicable. Specially since it makes moving subjects blurry. Does the Droid X camera take faster pics then the original?

When i look at downloads on the browser it will show only the picture you clicked on as being in the gallery, but as soon as you open the regular gallery outside the browser download menu... it wont show up. Oct 11, 2010I just got my x a few days ago and have never had a smartphone (i'm coming from the Dare)...i was trying to send a picture in a text message today, and it sent it horizontal... i took the picture vertically...and when i attached it to my text message it sent it sideways. so i rotated the picture 90 degrees and sent it, and it was still sideways.... anyone know how to fix this? i take most of my pics vertically...and i don't want them posting to facebook or sent to my fam sideways!

Jun 6, 2010This problem happened on my last Droid and I see something as simple as this is still a huge problem.Any picture you have on your phone that was taken in portrait always gets rotated 90 CCW...wtf is this? It's not the facebook app because when I try to set any of the pictures I have as wallpapers they all get rotated 90 degrees CCW.

On my messenger app it reads the time stamp after it 'digests' it, but on the other three phones the pics don't show up (sometimes they do, but more often they do not). Aug 15, 2010I am a former blackberry user and I've been trying to figure out the file system in this droid. I need to be able to do some things and I'm not sure they can be done. I have some pictures and vids that I want to keep private. I am often showing my pics and vids to people and the ones I don't want to be seen are in the same folders. I have tried to move certain pics and vids to a different place using the phone itself, but I can't figure that out.
I was hoping that when I plugged up the phone to my PC it might recognize it like it does a camera or something but it doesn't. I even installed the motorola software but that didn't do anything. If I take the card out of the phone and put it directly in my PC, I can see it that way and modify things, but when I put it back in the phone nothing is as I had changed it on the PC.

Oct 10, 2010So I take a picture with my Droid X, and it doesn't save at all.It seems to be tied to the GPS, because if I wait for the GPS to tag the photo, then it SEEMS to work MOST of the time. Thing is, I can't wait for the GPS all of the time, I just want a point and click cam. I have tried disabling the GPS and it doesn't seem to work until I reboot the phone. Anyone else having this issue, any suggestions?

I found an app that shows constellations instead but I wonder if this is something I can just do myself? And why are there adverts, it doesn't really bother me but I didn't get some special deal on the phone so why should I be forced to see the Advertising? Oh I just had a thought - is this a result of using google voice?
