View 10 RepliesFor some reason, when I get a call and the picture of the contact shows up (mainly FB photos), it's all blurry. Anyone know why, or how to fix this?
View 7 Replies View Relatedwhy are my contact pics so blurry? The only answers are for the Motorola droid and the "pathways" you take are difrerent than the droid eris. Ex: got mms with pic, long pressed and saved. Went to album, selected pic, pressed menu button, set as, then chose contact. I figured that was a standard way of doing it and it worked. Except thay when i get a call from contact the picture looks pixelated and blurry. But all other pics not set as contact loom AMAZING. Any help? Do I also need to wait for that Google update talked about in a previous thread about the motorola droid? Another quick question.......my keyboard is lagging super hard while typing (only on this site btw) is there too much going on.

It is the exact same pics from the same memory card that I used on the 1st phone, I just swapped it over to the new 1 when it arrived I should add that when I say contact pics, its only when m calling some1 and their face fills the screen that this happens

Recently I have noticed my contact pictures in my people widget and when someone calls me are rather blurry and out of focus, they weren't like this, just happened recently, I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem and no how to correct it, without a hard reset. Have turned phone on and off, removed widget and put it back, looked in settings for some settings for pictures, nada, that I can find.
View 11 Replies View RelatedDoes the synced Facebook contact pictures still show up blurry, or are the crisp like in 1.5? I haven't seen a thread about this so I thought I would ask.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have seen other peoples having same prob in other forums but no ones been able to find a solution though. In 1.6 it used to be blurry too unless you added them via mediascape. Tried it all again on 2.1 and still blurry. Otehrwise the updates quite good except theres no FLASH!

I was wondering if there is something in the settings or an app that will make phone call pics larger. When someone calls me, their pic is kind of small.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA bunch of turkeys came wandering in my back yard a few min ago, and I grabbed my evo to snap a few pics. They all turned out hazy. Focus was fine, but the pics just looked really bad, like looking through dirty glass. Turns out, a bit of fingerprint was on the camera lens. I wiped it down on my shirt and the pics became much clearer. Seems like common sense, right? Anyhow, just throwing it out there. I'm probably going to forget to do this next time.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm planning to get a Bluetooth headset for use with my Eris. I don't really have any experience with a headset so I have a question about how it works:
I would like to leave the headset powered on and when I receive a call, either answer it from the headset or from the Eris depending on where I am/what I'm doing etc. Is this possible? Or if the headset is on will I always have to answer the call from there? I believe that I've heard that this is the way headsets work but I was hoping that I might be able to choose my answer "mode".
I am having horrible signal problems. My old phone the ENV2 in the same exact seat I am in right now I had full signal strength. The Eris on the other hand, I have none, it flips from no bars to X all day long. I can not receive calls nor can I make a call. Has anyone had problems with theirs? Or what might I be able to do ?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I been taking pics with my EPIC 4G and I thought it was supposed to be one of the best on the market. Well I have to take a few pics to try to get a decent pic. Most come out blurry to slightly blurry. My old Sony Erickson took better pics with lil fuss. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Am I supposed to tap it and wait for it to focus before taking a pic? Even with that it comes out a lil blurry.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else experience this on their Eris, kinda fustrating and embarrasing on the types of random pics the phone decides to use as album cover art? Any tips to stop this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedProlly a dumb question but I can't figure out how to update an existing contact using the call history. In the call history window I can press and hold on a call. This brings up the "save to contacts" option. Not sure what to do after that.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI personally own the Motorola Droid, But one one my customers has the eris. Here is the question. He claims that whenever he call a contact, the actual contact is no longer available in the contact list but is instead moved over to the recent calls list. I told him that I believe that the recent call list only shows recent call and that the contact should to be found in proper order on the Contact list. Having no actual experience with this phone, I'm just looking for clarification. Does a recently called contact have to be found in the recent call list? If not, what may my customer be confused by? Is there a free application to make this any easier for him?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to deal with the blurry images from the Eris's camera but enough is enough. Unless my subject is completely still for 10 seconds, my picture is looks blurry. Does anyone have this problem? Could I fix it in settings? I am currently using the 5 meg pixel setting.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have read a few threads, but they aren't saying the evo4g is having this problem. but mine is. i imported my contacts from my outlook and all the images are coming up blurry when i receive calls and make them. also, a lot of the images on my contacts aren't even showing up on the phone, but i see them in the outlook actually it looks like the Vermeer images i was using when i had my iphone aren't loading, but regular images are. anyways, for the regular images from the outlook sync to the phone, is there a way to get them clearer?

View 25 Replies View RelatedRecently received my Incredible (FINALLY!). I synced my contacts from my old phone (Omnia i910) with google so I could download them onto the Inc. When I did, I also synced up some contacts with Facebook. But, it looks like several of the contact pics are blurry / pixelated. Some of them are the Facebook ones, while others are the Google synced ones. Anyone know how to fix this?

View 13 Replies View RelatedMy first experience with Android was 2 weeks ago when i finally received my Incredible (after having it on order for a month). I came from a Blackberry connected to my company's BES Server. I had started taking pictures of my contacts with my Blackberry and the pictures synced with the contacts in my Outlook. When I setup the Incredible to sync with the exchange server all of the pictures I had for my contacts instantly showed up as the contacts picture on the phone (just like on the Blackberry). I just figured that is how it is across all of the Android phones.Got my X last friday and found out that it apparently doesn't pull the contacts pictures from Exchange when i gets the rest of the data. Neither does it push pictures taken from the phone up to Exchange. My question is: is the Droid X's software lacking this feature normal for Android phones?Do Nexus One's and Samsung android phones sync contact photo's with Exchange?Trying to figure out if syncing contact photo's is just one of the extra niceties that come with the Incredible's Sense UI?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I finish a call on my Droid it displays the "cute" little android dude and seems to always have a Cadillax CRX/Google Advert. Anyway to change the pic. I found an app that shows constellations instead but I wonder if this is something I can just do myself? And why are there adverts, it doesn't really bother me but I didn't get some special deal on the phone so why should I be forced to see the Advertising? Oh I just had a thought - is this a result of using google voice?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs anybody else having a problem with google talk and receiving a "[somebody] did not receive your chat" message whenever you try to IM somebody? It happens both on my Droid and in the chat client in gmail. The reason I'm asking here is that it only seems to be affecting my buddy and me and we both have Droids. Our friends who don't have droids can talk to one-another, but any message to or from us have issues. Could be coincidence but I thought I'd ask.
