Is it possible to use a contact's facebook pic that is NOT their profile pic? I have a couple of friends who have some funny pics on their facebook profiles and I would like to use them instead of the linked profile pic.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhy are my contact pics so blurry? The only answers are for the Motorola droid and the "pathways" you take are difrerent than the droid eris. Ex: got mms with pic, long pressed and saved. Went to album, selected pic, pressed menu button, set as, then chose contact. I figured that was a standard way of doing it and it worked. Except thay when i get a call from contact the picture looks pixelated and blurry. But all other pics not set as contact loom AMAZING. Any help? Do I also need to wait for that Google update talked about in a previous thread about the motorola droid? Another quick question.......my keyboard is lagging super hard while typing (only on this site btw) is there too much going on.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm on my 2nd Hero at the moment but m having a problem with my contact pictures. On my 1st Hero with Orange they were perfectly clear however I now have 1 with T-mobile and the contact pictures are very blurry, almost unrecognisable. Anyone know why this would happen and how to fix it? It is the exact same pics from the same memory card that I used on the 1st phone, I just swapped it over to the new 1 when it arrived I should add that when I say contact pics, its only when m calling some1 and their face fills the screen that this happens

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently got my first Android and am really digging the Google contacts integration. Especially with the Google+ profiles (even though.. who uses Google+??).
One issue I have, though, is that some of my contacts have G+ profile pics, and they show in my Hangouts app (when I text those people), but those pics do not show in the "Google People" app where I go when I want to look at my contacts. They also don't show in my phone dialer when I dial them by name.
Namely when i receive or send calls the contact pic (either from Google or FB sync) are really pixelated ,because they're low resolution, how can i force them to be bigger? i've alredy tried alternate dialer apps and am not satisfied with them, nor do i wish to use a 3rd party app.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy first experience with Android was 2 weeks ago when i finally received my Incredible (after having it on order for a month). I came from a Blackberry connected to my company's BES Server. I had started taking pictures of my contacts with my Blackberry and the pictures synced with the contacts in my Outlook. When I setup the Incredible to sync with the exchange server all of the pictures I had for my contacts instantly showed up as the contacts picture on the phone (just like on the Blackberry). I just figured that is how it is across all of the Android phones.Got my X last friday and found out that it apparently doesn't pull the contacts pictures from Exchange when i gets the rest of the data. Neither does it push pictures taken from the phone up to Exchange. My question is: is the Droid X's software lacking this feature normal for Android phones?Do Nexus One's and Samsung android phones sync contact photo's with Exchange?Trying to figure out if syncing contact photo's is just one of the extra niceties that come with the Incredible's Sense UI?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a dead Nexus S 4g that won't power up anymore, tech guy at the phone store couldn't figure out why. I got a 2nd working Nexus S 4G afterwards. I want to move the pics from the old phone to the new phone but because the NS4g has NO external SD Card, and the hard drive in the old phone is soldered onto the motherboard, I don't want to remove the solder from the old board and put it onto the new phone, it sounds messy and a lot of work and I'm afraid to "screw" it up even more. I want to move the entire board onto the new phone and try to retreive the pics and then move it back. I don't know if this will work but I want to try it out anyway.
1 of the tiny screws from the new phone was stripped and I can't unscrew it to disassemble it ! I've been searching online and people generally have bigger screws to remove (on bigger hardware) but couldn't find much on tiny screws on a delicate electronics like our smartphones, thus posting here now. How to get the pics out.
I left the iphone after about 3 years.I got bored with it.I was do for an upgrade so I decided on the Samsung Galaxy Captivate.I love it.It does take some getting used to considering I never owned an android phone.I have searched for this but didn't find anything. I was wondering if there is something in the settings or an app that will make phone call pics larger. When someone calls me, their pic is kind of small.
