I searched the threads and haven�t seen any one mentioning this. Whenever I try to connect my Facebook via the motoblur it gives me an internal server error. I tried a factory reset and also connecting through the social networking and my accounts to no prevail.

I seem to be having trouble getting notifications from the native facebook account. It doesn't seem to update very often either. Anyone seeing the same thing on the Droid 2?

Yesterday my phone stopped connecting to facebook.It doesn't update in the people anymore, but does just fine with the fb app from the market.I thought maybe I did something to screw it up so I decided to reset the phone and start over.Now I have nothing linked to facebook and not sure if there is a setting I'm overlooking or not.When I go into the people app, and then try to link someone I know is a friend,it pulls up nobody for any option.Anyone else having an issue with this?Any suggestions for fixing this?I have tried syncing through the settings>account and syc. I'm running stock 2.1 so you all know.

View 30 Replies View Relatedtried usb debugging tried it off.. when i plug it in nothing will pop up that will say it is. it will charge.. but thats about it. it wont let me change from pc mode to mass storage.. upgraded drivers.. tried Motorola media link.. tried turning it off with the sd card unmounted.. tried removing the battery.. did a hard restore. i tried on 3 computers in my house. nothing seems to be working out. all i want to do is put a video from my phone to my pc.

Basically the last step is to hit 'start discovery' on the winamp program on the PC, then I should get a message on my phone to connect, but it doesn't do that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHere's the deal. Downloaded Motorola Media Link. I open it up select connect so I can connect my Droid to my pc ofcourse. This is were the problem starts to occur. When I select connect it tells me 1 handset found being my droid. I do mount the phone from the notification bar and always end up with detection failed. I have the option to click here to learn more and all it tells me is make sure you mount your phone. Any suggestions.

I have the Facebook app installed on my Droid and have the settings set to send me notifications for all possible things, but the app itself seems to refuse to update on its own or send me any notifications what-so-ever. After messing around with it for 2 days, I finally figured out how to link my Facebook contacts with my already existing phone contacts, so I did not have people in there twice, under two different names! However, only SOME of them are allowing me to change their caller ID names. For instance, my Mom is on Facebook, so instead of having her caller ID as her FB name, it allowed me to change it to "Mom", but for other contacts, it won't let me. Any idea why, or how to fix this? Also, is there still NO way to get rid of the unwanted contacts without deleting them from your Facebook friends list? That is driving me nuts! I don't need ALL 225 of my facebook friends in my phone.

I did this from the Droid and it just started the post with the text @My Friend content content content... It didn't actually tag him.
Anyone know if this just doesn't work from the Droid or what?

I'm sure this isn't news to any of you veterans, but this is my first android device so please bare with me. I'm using the facebook app and have noticed that neither the app itself or the widget show the actual facebook live feed or provide a way to access it....
Of course my next thought was "well what if I just use the facebook page in a browser window". Turns out that's not as simple as I thought! Apparently facebook not only has a mobile page, it also has a "touch" page that it likes to route you to. Neither the mobile or the touch facebook pages have a way to access the live feed either....
I removed my facebook account because I didn't wane all of my friends in my contacts, but a few of them are still in my contacts and I can't delete them!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was playing with my friend's G1 when I noticed a native, Android IM app. So I searched around my DROID and found nothing. What I want to know is where did it go? Why don't I have it? Where can I get it, and what would be the best solution without it?
Note: I would primarily use AIM.
I have a feeling my problem is the router and not my Droid, but I thoght I would try anyway.
I have 2 networks that I conenct to at my work. An open network and a secure one.
The open network, which has weak signal, I have no problem connecting to.
However, when I try to connect to the secure network, which i have great signal, I get "Disabled, secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK". I am positive I have the right password.
The strange part is I have had my Droid for less than 2 weeks. Before I had an Eris and would connect to that network everyday without any problems. But have never been able to connect with my Droid once I dont think anything has changed with that router, but i cant say for sure.
Any ideas as to why the Droid wont connect? Unfortunately, i dont have access to the routers settings. Unless I really had to, i can try to access it early in the morning
Looked around didn't see anything here, but when I hook my DX up to my computer through USB it will vibrate saying it was hooked in, but it will not charge or show up on my computer at all. What am I doing wrong?
