Motorola Droid :: Facebook App Not Working
Feb 16, 2010The Facebook app that came with the Droid is no longer working. It gives "[102/session key invalid]" The timing is around the recent Facebook update. Do I need a new app?

I have the Facebook app installed on my Droid and have the settings set to send me notifications for all possible things, but the app itself seems to refuse to update on its own or send me any notifications what-so-ever. Aug 20, 2010I am the proud new owner of a Droid 2. After messing around with it for 2 days, I finally figured out how to link my Facebook contacts with my already existing phone contacts, so I did not have people in there twice, under two different names! However, only SOME of them are allowing me to change their caller ID names. For instance, my Mom is on Facebook, so instead of having her caller ID as her FB name, it allowed me to change it to "Mom", but for other contacts, it won't let me. Any idea why, or how to fix this? Also, is there still NO way to get rid of the unwanted contacts without deleting them from your Facebook friends list? That is driving me nuts! I don't need ALL 225 of my facebook friends in my phone.

Mar 12, 2010I hardly ever use facebook, and almost never from my computer. However, I do know you can tag a friend in a post using "@" in front of their name. I did this from the Droid and it just started the post with the text @My Friend content content content... It didn't actually tag him.
Anyone know if this just doesn't work from the Droid or what?

Aug 5, 2010I'm sure this isn't news to any of you veterans, but this is my first android device so please bare with me. I'm using the facebook app and have noticed that neither the app itself or the widget show the actual facebook live feed or provide a way to access it....
Of course my next thought was "well what if I just use the facebook page in a browser window". Turns out that's not as simple as I thought! Apparently facebook not only has a mobile page, it also has a "touch" page that it likes to route you to. Neither the mobile or the touch facebook pages have a way to access the live feed either....
Motorola Droid X :: Chrome To Phone Not Working
Sep 23, 2010Is anyone having trouble with Chrome to phone? or Fox to phone? It was working like a charm and then stopped sending pages. It happens on every computer I use it on and every browser. All I get is nothing or and error "error can't send page" from a Chrome browser and I actually it the devs page on Fox to phone saying 404 page not found. I've uninsulated and reinstalled both the phone app and the browsers plug ins numerous times. After doing that it may work once but generally does the same thing.

Jul 28, 2010I have already done a factory reset once before because the phones ringer stopped working. The "FVE" said it was something I downloaded from the market and basically made me reset. It really is not a big deal to do a reset since all the contacts can get synced to your google account. I just don't want to have to keep doing this fix.

Everything else seems to be working okay. Tried powering off/up, also tried battery pull, still the same.
I'm close to opting for "restore factory settings", but I've spent some time customizing, and that's really a last resort.
