I have several email accounts that all funnel into GMail, and I have GMail set up so that I can send emails as if I were emailing from one of those various accounts (for example, I have an email account through my school. Emails received in that account go to GMail and I can send an email from GMail but put the "from" email address as my school email). I can't figure out how to do this on my Droid though.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use the mail default mail app@ my phone for about 3 E-Mail accounts. The problem is, only the E-Mail Icon for collected E-mail accounts shows the total number of "unread" Mails for all accounts, if I add for each account a seperate E-mail icon no number for unread Mails is visible for that account.
How can I configure the Mail app for each account with each icon, so that it shows me the number of unread messages for that specific -E-mail account.
I know the update hasn't officially been rolled out but does anybody have any early knowledge of whether or not this update will correct the issue of emails sent from the droid from yahoo sending multiple copies and copying them into your sent folder? I know there's a setting to disable this feature under normal circumstances but i like having my sent copies saved and was hoping that this update will correct this issue.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my Droid X I can add my hotmail account just fine but it starts importing all of my emails saying they're all new. It acts like as if because all of the emails are new to it then it thinks they're new and labels them new so if I have 100 emails that are in my hotmail account none of which are new. I get 100 notifications on my phone as it imports the emails in saying "new" email.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had zero issues connecting my Droid with my corporate exchange client, which has been fantastic and refreshing, however, in the last week I have had email tell me it had to force close 3x.Each time it does, when I go to re-open everything is gone, it goes back to the sync an account/enter email address set up. Each time I do it on the far left the bars are a different color (what does this mean), right now they are the color of this smilie.Anything I can do to stop this from happening? Are there other email apps that might work better and have this not happening? I keep 2 weeks worth of emails on my phone so when something like this happens it is not a quick fix to get back where it was.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI have been using the email app that came on the droid x for 2 weeks with no problem until now. i only have my yahoo email acct on it. this am, my inbox is empty. nothing has changed on my actual yahoo acct, so the emails have not been deleted. how can i get the inbox to repopulate/sync with the emails that are in my yahoo inbox? the other folders of my email are fine.

I have experienced it on the stock rom, and now Liquid's rom 1.4.1.I always do a complete wipe, and everything else works great, but if I reply to any email, the synchronizing between gmail on the phone and gmail on the computer never works.If I star something, read it, or send a reply, nothing ever gets accomplished, the sending just stalls at "sending" for ever. Anyone have a solution?

Is anyone else having this issue, or had this issue and care to help how to reslove it? I had the Smoked Glass Rom, but switched back to my old edited rooted nandroid backup, then even tried the OEM version I had backed up, but it still won't send.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI was able to get the work around yahoo email thing to work on my phone but now I have a new situation that's driving me crazy. So at one point, I replied to my yahoo email using the droid and now it seems that it keeps sending the same message over and over and over because my yahoo sent folder shows like hundreds of copies of the same email. Funny thing though is that the person I sent the email to only got the first email and hasn't received the hundreds of dups or they might have and maybe it's been going to the spam folder.how to make this stop?

Is this correct? Do all email accounts go through a Motorola server? The same thing happens with setting up Facebook, MySpace and other services.

The gmail app works great for my gmail and the 3 accounts I access through it for personal email. The other email account will go hours without checking and unless I open it and refresh it won't get them at all. I have it set to check every 5 min.
I am wondering if it has something to do with advanced task killer? I have added "email" to the ignore list but I am not sure if that will do the trick.
