I have managed to copy a couple of files but it took ages to get it to connect properly and now it won't do it at all. There are 4 driver messages under hardware which all show problems with Bluetooth peripheral device and no drivers installed, but I can't find any anywhere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI ran into the first problem with my Droid- and I am sure it is not the Droid itself. I am running Vista32- I have Motorola Media Link installed. When I plug my Droid into the PC, I get a mass storage device that installs OK most of the time, and an "unknown device".. Even when I mount the SD from the phone, I still see no Drive in my computer The unknown device never installs. I have tried almost every suggestion i have seen.. reboot pc..reinstall MML, reboot phone.. no luck

Im about ready to release a beta test for a printing utility in a week or two and was wondering if a Bluetooth printing utility would interest anyone.
Basically it will print from various standard PIM applications on the device printing Text and Graphics on Full-Size HP-PCL compatible printers as well Small Format ESC/POS mobile printers.
I've already installed the drivers and adb,but adb shell shows no device. The 2nd LG USB Modem installed as an Android Phone.I'm using winXP,SP2 PRO, these are my steps.enable USB Debugging mode, dial 3845....and enable root permission, restart my phone, connect my phone to PC,install the drivers.win+R TO open CMD window,cd to the sdk tools directory, adb shell, shows device not found in my device manager, there's an android phone class, under it is an android Adb.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know ADB was working before I updated to 2.1 root. Looking at the USB devices the current driver isn't compatible with the phone now. Is there a change I need to make to get the USB driver to work? Yes I have USB debugging on.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWhere I can get the device driver for the Ampe A10 10.1" tablet.
Windows 7 x64 detects a device called "Android" when you connect the tablet and says no driver found.
The tablet does not appear on the device chooser in the eclipse development environment.
The PS3 can pair with bluetooth keyboards and mice. As can PCs obviously. But for PCs you can use other programs on the client machine to make mouse/kb control work. You can't do this on the PS3 so you need an actual bluetooth connection.
However, there are no apps I know that can do this, I wondered if maybe it somehow required root, and if there are any root-using apps that can turn the phone into a bluetooth input mouse/kb device to be paired with a ps3.
No matter how many times I reinstall the device drivers, they all install correctly besides the Android ADB Device driver.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to modify the Android device driver for calibre (an e-book management program) so that it identifies devices by only vendor id and product id, and excludes BCD.
The driver is a fairly simply python plugin, and is currently set up to use all three numbers, but apparently, when Android devices use custom Android builds (ie CyanogenMod for the Nexus One), it changes the BCD so calibre stops recognizing it.
The current code looks like this, with a simple list of vendor id's, that then have allowed product id's and BCD's with them:
CODE:..........
The line I'm specifically trying to change is:
CODE:............
Which is, the line for identifying a Nexus One. My N1, running CyanogenMod 5.0.5, has the BCD 0x226, and rather than just adding it to the list, I'd prefer to eliminate the BCD from the recognition process, so that any device with vendor id 0x18d1 and product id 0x4e11 or 0x4e12 would be recognized. The custom Android rom doesn't change enough for the specifics to matter.
The syntax seems to require the BCD in brackets.
How can I edit this so that it matches anything in that field?
My computer doesn't recognize my X when I plug it in. It runs the Found New Hardware wizard, but doesn't find the correct driver on the Internet. Any ideas on how I can get my computer to recognize the X and its SD card?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've seen discussions on how to use your android phone as several different things, ranging from a wireless hot spot to a keyboard/mouse. There are instructions all over on how to tether your phone to use it as a wireless modem, but I've never seen mention on whether or not it was possible to use an android phone as a USB blue tooth adapter. My Android phone is blue tooth enabled, but neither of my laptops are. Is there any way to use the phone as a blue tooth adapter when connected to the laptop via the USB cable (giving the laptop blue tooth capabilities)? I know I can always just buy an adapter from the store, but I wanted to see if this was a possibility first.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo when I get an incoming call, my droid-X rings instead of my car stereo. I have the car stereo set to ring, but it does not. So I constantly miss calls in my car to the point where I may as well not even have a bluetooth stereo. In California, we can't talk on the phone and drive so it's killing me that this does not work after investing money into the system.
Never had a problem on my blackberry. Basically if I have the stereo on, I'm not going to hear my phone ringing, I guess I could set it to auto answer (not sure if that works yet either) but I like to see the number from who is calling first on my CD Player's face.
I was wondering if anyone knew of an app that could make an Android phone act as as a bluetooth receiver. The phone being a deactivated Droid ERIS I have laying around that I'm not using. What I want to be able to do is connect my laptop to the ERIS with bluetooth (laptop has bluetooth connectivity) and have my laptops audio go to the ERIS (ERIS would be plugged into a set of speakers through it's 3.5mm headphone jack). In essence, the opposite of what people usually use a phones bluetooth connectivity for. Anyone know of an app that can do this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am walking to my car, talking on the phone. When I turn the car on, I want to transfer from the phone to the bluetooth in the car/nav. unit.If I'm in my car, I can call/receive phone calls fine, but I can't figure out how to transfer a call to my car bluetooth, when I get in and I'm ready to drive off. Instead, I have to tell the person, I'll call them right back, as I have to make the call from the bluetooth setup.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with the reception to all my blue tooth headsets with this phone. I can get phone to connect to a plantronics bluetooth headset (I have a couple of other headsets but pairing with them is iffier on the x) and it will start playting music or a phone call - but if I move the phone to my pocket or just in my hand but drop it below my waist, the sound stops. It is not the headset because it works fine on my evo with the phone in my pocket.
