Tried connecting my bluetooth today to give a presentation using PPT Remote, but the computer has said that the peripheral driver is missing and I cannot use it as a paired device. It has discovered my N1 but won't connect. Any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWindows 7 (64 bit) Dell Desktop PC and my lovely new Sony Xperia Z1 trying to send files via Bluetooth rather than keep plugging and unplugging the USB cable and risk breaking the cover. well that was my plan anyway.The Dell didn't come with Bluetooth so I bought a wee plug-in USB Bluetooth unit. I have managed to copy a couple of files but it took ages to get it to connect properly and now it won't do it at all.There are 4 driver messages under hardware which all show problems with Bluetooth peripheral device and no drivers installed, but I can't find any anywhere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSomehow I managed to get my PC to only recognize ROMaster ADB drivers only; but it doesn't work properly with ADB commands on my computer. I would like to revert it back to only detecting "normal" adb devices.
I believe I had install ROMaster Setup previously for data recovery purposes but have it uninstalled since.
I have tried to reinstall ROMaster Setup and uninstall it. Run Ccleaner and clean up the registry, uninstall and reinstall Google SDK (USB Drivers).
I have tried to manually select driver to install but only two ROMaster selection appears.
Using Windows XP.
I've spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out why HTC Sync would not allow me to use the Mobile Network Sharing (MNS). All morning, I had assumed that my notebook was using the MNS as I was able to access Facebook from the office. Turns out that I was latched onto a secondary WiFi access point without realizing it. So, after installing HTC Sync, all other drivers installed fine, except for the NDIS driver which is needed in order to use MNS. I searched high and low to find a download for the driver, and finally found it.
For those of you who are missing the driver (not sure? Open Device Manager, and see if you have an Android Phone device that is showing up as an error), go to your Program Files folder, look for the HTC folder, and in it, you will find HTC Drivers... that elusive NDIS driver is stored there. Just go to Device Manager, find the Android Phone device, right click, select Update Driver, and get it to find the driver from the folder above. Once the driver is installed, getting online is easy
I'm having quite a few serious problems with making my Android game work on my Nexus One phone. After 3 days of hunting down solutions in the internet and trying them out, I'm beat and have decided to ask for help.
When connecting the Nexus One for debugging, I can't get the ADB manager to recognize the device. Working with W7 and my Nexus (2.1) I was able to correctly compile and debug on the actual device. One day a automatic update came for 2.2, I updated and hadn't tried to debug anything on the device since until a few days ago.Download SDK and USB drivers. Set my USB Debugging enabled on the phone. Connect Nexus One. Windows auto-detects it as a hard drive.
We are facing 2 issues on the nexus 1 using opengl( under NDK ):
1)glNormalPointer(GL_BYTE, x , y);does no work, there no lighting done on any model using normals stored using byte, the same code is working properly on a motorola droid/milestone.
2)Changine Lighting states are very slow and freeze the display frame for 1 sec on the Nexus 1, we are using dynamic light ON/OFF and i am under the impression that is because of the emulation of the opengl 1.x pipeline under a 2.0 pipeline -> some hidden upload of shaders of some sort in the drivers, but this is to a point that there is no way to use realtime lighting on our game for the nexus 1 so somebody has to look into this issue.
I need to test my application from eclipse, but I could not see the device ? I was told that I need to upgrade USB driver. Do you know here I could download the driver? what is the procedure to upgrade?

In the Android Eclipse plugin, I have downloaded and installed the USB driver (revision 3) package. But when I connect my Nexus One to my PC (running Windows 7) using the USB cable, a message box pops up and shows that "No driver found" for "Nexus One". I have activated USB Debugging on my device. And when I run adb devices on my PC, it just prints List of devices attached and no devices are listed. And if I use Device Manages in Windows, and tries to update the driver for "Nexus One", I can not select a driver in the "driver directory" of Android SDK. How can I install a driver for Nexus One on Windows 7 so I can use it for USB debugging my Android applications on a real device?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI Have a Nexus 7 and recently I found that I needed to use ADB for something and I had used my Nexus 7 with ADB on this computer before (thats how I installed KitKat) but whenever I connect my Nexus now it says that is not configured correctly and when I attempted to install the ADB driver it said windows encountered an error. I am currently running windows with Driver verification disabled and on test mode. I am also running windows in test mode so that it wouldn't block the driver. I have tried every driver possible from the one in the SDK to the intel android adb driver and even PDAnet. I have checked inside the driver file that it is properly registered for my nexus 7. I am running Windows 8.1 on my computer and android 4.4.2 kitkat on my Nexus 7.

However, when using my new Nexus One instead - and making sure that 'Use Debugging' is enabled - the Nexus One is not recognized and debugging on this phone is not possible.
Usig the Nexus One as a removable-drive (by mounting it) works fine.
How can I start using the Nexus one as a development device (on Eclipse)?
The WiFi on my Nexus 7, 4.4.2. Tablet is acting strange lately. It will randomly disconnect from the current internet connection, and delete the entire WiFi password/login history. I have to fill in the password again for it to work again. Restarting my device didn't solve the problem, and WiFi optimization is unticked.

Unfortunately I made the grave mistake of leaving my Helix 2 app as my main launcher, so I was stuck in an endless loop of force closing. After restoring my phone to factory defaults I was able to set up my gmail account as I did when I first set up the phone.now that I'm going into the market, I'm noticing a LOT of apps that I had before (most of them paid) are not even listed in the app store. I'm also noticing that the Helix apps are not listed either. It would appear that non 2.2 compatible apps are not being listed? I have no idea, but whatever it is, I hope I get my touchdown full version app back soon, otherwise I'll be in a rough spot with work. (not a huge fan of the regular mail).Example, I did a search for the developer "Camel Games" I recently purchased one of these games, however, when I do a search now, I ONLY see all the free version, and no paid versions. If anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone is not seeing the same thing as me, that would be helpful too. If I need to reset my phone again or something, let me know! I miss my apps

Have synced my wonderful Nexus with google mail, calendars etc but I have calendar entries missing on the Nexus. Having checked the online calendar everything is present and correct but not showing on my Nexus. Some entries are there whilst others are not - very strange, Any ideas here ?, anyone else have a similar issue ?

In the process I deleted google maps then I lost the navigation icon so I can't find it back. Is there any way to get it back? I can't even access the navigation app from anywhere not even the market. It's the one with the blue arrow.

Until recently I had no problems, everything was working fine, but then when messing around with my homescreen and launcher (nothing major, just changing layouts) I realised my status bar had gone and couldn't find any way to get it back.
Here's the strange part though - I'd recently taken a nandroid backup, when I know the status bar was there, so I restored to that and the status bar was still missing.
Then, as a last resort, I backed up all my apps with Titanium Backup, wiped all partitions and reinstalled the ROM. The status bar is still missing.
When I have navigation going and am wearing my bluetooth, or using the bluetooth speaker from my visor, the first one to two words do not make it through the bluetooth. For example, if it says "Turn right on main street", I'll here "right on main street". Some times I'll here "main street". I am certain that it is missing those words, because I can listen w/o bluetooth and hear it all. I am presuming that maybe it 'disconnects' the voice until it needs to use it, and it results in an lag.

View 7 Replies View RelatedBeen on 2.1v3 since it came out and just today I noticed in the market a couple of games are now showing in my Downloads as Purchased. I bought them back on 1.5 and haven't seen them since the 2.1v1,2,3 updates.
They are SmartPix games Tan'n'Feed and CrystalLight Defence ( and they are great to play, by the way ).
Anyway, I'm 99.9% positive they have not been in my Downloads in the Market since I started down the 2.1 path. Now they are...weird.
Wonder if the 2.1 rollout triggered something in the marketplace?
In case anyone else is having problems getting their Incredible to connect, the easiest way I found to install the USB drivers are with the HTC sync program here:

The google SDK driver doesn't yet work with the Incredible, and though it can be hacked - this download might be easier for some.
I have a gsm galaxy nexus, running the latest jelly bean, not rooted. I recently noticed that my clock app is gone. I can no longer find it in the app drawer. Also, the widget on the lock screen is gone, replaced by an older looking clock that has none of the functionality (stop watch, alarms, etc...) that the stock app came with. How I can get it back? Any app randomly disappear?
