HTC Incredible : Way To Setup Frequency For Missed Call / Text Notification?
Oct 23, 2010I have searched my HTC Incredible up and down but I can't find the option to set how often it rings to let you know that you have a missed call or text. Right now me phone only rings once. This is the most basic feature and there has to be a way to change but I can't find it for the life of me. Even my old razor let me set it to ring every 5 minutes or so for missed calls. I can hook my phone into my pc and stream internet off it but for the life of me I can't figure this out!

Nov 26, 2009Switched from ATT now cant get sms reminders from gCal
This is crazy - Google (and by default Moto) and Verizon should have worked out a clean way to get phones switched over.
Since I keep the same number (as I expect most people do), and since I have not gotten any gCal sms reminders, I went into gCal >settings> mobile> and re-entered my phone number in order to activate the send verification code button, and got this msg Phone notifications disabled.
Anyone have any ideas? There must/should be an easy solution.

Sep 14, 2010It may seem crazy, but I have an app that I use for business purposes (ustream). They do not support 2.2. I emailed them and they quickly responded with grim news. Basically, they don't know if/when they will support Froyo. Qik vid doesn't do what I need it to do. Also, I hear there are many other apps that won't work with froyo. As good a an improvement Froyo is, it prevents me from doing what I do. Any way to prevent update and update reminders?

It now rest in peace in my computer desk drawer for the rest of eternity. Now that I have the droid I have no use for it, and am happy I don't have to carry the damn thing around. I also lay to rest my LG dare, you were great for the year I had you but honestly, you were just a plain old phone with a touch screen. You will (not) be missed.

Mar 30, 2010Ok I have had 2 issues in the past week and they are starting to really concern me. I use google contacts for my motorola droid. I went to make a phone call and it said you have no contacts. Logged on to google and all 200 something contacts were gone. Verizon and motorola solution was to factory reset the phone. Was able to recreate most of my contacts, and now today I am missing about 10 contacts.

Aug 31, 2010my Droid X is doing something completely unacceptable.It misses calls.There's no ring, no missed call indicator, just suddenly a voicemail indicator pops up to tell me that someone left a voice message.Sometimes it only happens once, and will receive the next call without a problem.Sometimes it'll do it three or four calls in a row.I've already talked to Verizon about it, and they've gone through the script. Before I call to yell at them until they replace the phone with one that works, I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with the problem.

My problem is that my wife mainly, or ppl will call or text me and i will not recieve ANY notification of a missed call or text. Usually with my old phone "samsung eternity" i would recieve a missed call or text later once my phone got reception again. Any one else having this problem and also any fixes? Jan 12, 2014I need pop-up notifications of missed voice calls and SMS text messages. The pop-up should remain on the screen until dismissed/acknowledged. If the screen times out, I would like the message to reappear after I log in to the phone. Generally I can't get my phone out quickly enough to see the original message. I can't tell whether I've missed a call or a text message, so I have to check both. I find the missed call format especially unfriendly. I'm using Calendar Event Reminder and loving it. It would be great to find soemthing that works similarly for calls and text messages.
I must have installed some app or selected some option. About 5 minutes after missing a text message the phone produces an very annoying sound. I hope that when I install a new notification app or setting that this annoyance will go away.

Jan 3, 20121. Is there a way to get the badge notifications for when I miss a call or text? I have "MIssed call count" and "Unread SMS count" turned on and it never displays the number of missed calls/ messages
2. Is there a way to rename a folder created in this thing? When I make one, it just is called "New Folder" and I can't get it to recognize folders that I made before installing Launcher Pro.

Whatsapp is no problem at all. Solved it with Tasker and Minimalistic Text.
Now I am trying to bring in the variable for the missed call to Minimalistic Text from Tasker.
Unfortunately there is no event I can grab to get there.
Is it eventually locked within ics?

Sep 9, 2010How can I tell if I have a missed phone call? There doesn't seem to be any method of notification, such as the BlackBerry's "Missed 1 call" text message on the screen. I'm wondering how many calls I miss. At least, if I'm on the X, I get a notice there's another incoming call.
