View 2 Replies View RelatedI have literally tried everything to turn this off on my Motorola Cliq.
I went to my home screen, clicked menue, then settings.
I went to notification settings then to notification sounds. There is not a silent! I don't know how to make this sound go away!
I tried installing the "Missed Call" app, hoping that I could override the default settings on my phone, but it doesnt. Now I have two missed call notifications.
any body else like a beep when you miss a call? thats what I'm after.I was using missed reminder but it keeps my phone at 100% awake.not sure how good that is for my battery life.does everybody just check there phone alot to see if you missed a call? LED doesnt do me much good because you cant see it when its in the phone holder.it would be nice if it worked like the email or the text message does.

View 7 Replies View RelatedGot my android yesterday havent really played with it other than installing app killer, and checking to see if i could root(i cant :sadface and noticed on my mothers phone(same droid eris) that her notification light was blinking Green. i Checked the manual from the verizon website and all it mentions is green solid, red solid, and red blinking, nothing about Green blinking. It was not plugged in, it was not being used. I thought it was perhaps saying "hey you have a new message/email/missed call" but she had no notifications. anyone know what Blinking green means?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Incredible and when the device is locked there is a message at the bottom that says I have a missed call. I looked in my call history and found nothing regarding ths call. I have subsequently removed my entire call history but this notification message still appears. how to get rid of this bogus message?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI read 100 notification threads w/o an answer. I have a Zedge ringtone that is the notification for a missed call and cannot change it; in fact, don't know how it got there. I even removed Zedge app. but it still plays. I want to change it to a simple Android tone.
View 4 Replies View Relatedis the notification for missed calls at the bottom of the screen a 4.4.2 feature or has it been there before? Or is it some app which I have downloaded?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a setting somewhere for the LED to flash/light up when you miss a call?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy only problem with the incredible, is a kinda big one. My old phone would vibrate or chirp until I acknowledged a missed call or text. I can not make the incredible do this. I downloaded a missed call application and either it doesn't work with the incredible or I am doing something wrong.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased the X10 Android, am I dreaming this. I can not fid any way of having an on screen notification of a missed call. On my old Sony when I missed a call it displayed it on screen, I could then call the person and it was great. I am now missing calls and unless I look in calls I would never know.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need pop-up notifications of missed voice calls and SMS text messages. The pop-up should remain on the screen until dismissed/acknowledged. If the screen times out, I would like the message to reappear after I log in to the phone. Generally I can't get my phone out quickly enough to see the original message. I can't tell whether I've missed a call or a text message, so I have to check both. I find the missed call format especially unfriendly. I'm using Calendar Event Reminder and loving it. It would be great to find soemthing that works similarly for calls and text messages.
I must have installed some app or selected some option. About 5 minutes after missing a text message the phone produces an very annoying sound. I hope that when I install a new notification app or setting that this annoyance will go away.
I have searched my HTC Incredible up and down but I can't find the option to set how often it rings to let you know that you have a missed call or text. Right now me phone only rings once. This is the most basic feature and there has to be a way to change but I can't find it for the life of me. Even my old razor let me set it to ring every 5 minutes or so for missed calls. I can hook my phone into my pc and stream internet off it but for the life of me I can't figure this out!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI seem to keep missing calls if I am away from my X10 for a couple of minutes, then have to keep checking the phone for the notification light flashing. Is there some way to set up the phone so that I get an alert every few minutes that I missed a call or an sms, mms etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedNot sure if ne one knows about this, or even cares but I was excited so im sharing.I Froyo'd my droid using the instructions from droid-life found here: Download: Newer Motorola Droid Froyo Leak FRF57 | Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog. When I did so, my Missed Call app stopped working. However, Missed Call LED found in the market works great on my Froyo 2.2 Droid.Happy rooting everyone.
View 7 Replies View Relatedmy Droid X is doing something completely unacceptable. It misses calls. There's no ring, no missed call indicator, just suddenly a voicemail indicator pops up to tell me that someone left a voice message.Sometimes it only happens once, and will receive the next call without a problem.Sometimes it'll do it three or four calls in a row.I've already talked to Verizon about it, and they've gone through the script. Before I call to yell at them until they replace the phone with one that works, I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with the problem.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThis has happened before and I fixed it, but i do not remember how. After I loaded wiped and loaded BB a weird ringtone that I don't remember having rings after a missed call. And it doesn't stop.I was walking around PetSmart today and I thought there was music coming from the shelves but it was really quiet.I was thoroughly confused until I went to the parking lot and figured out that it followed me, then deduced it was my phone. So this should be easy to turn off/silence I just can't figure it out.Anyone - you will get a "thanks" if it works.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe update from 1-2 days ago or so, I guess. Now every time the app does it's job, it also gives an additional notice in the notification bar - A triangle with an exclamation point in it letting you know that you missed something. Driving me f'ing crazy! Anyone know how to disable that?...I can't figure it out.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got Missed Call app because I liked the idea of different LED notification colors, plus some other stuff. However, when you start program it says to disable droid sms notifications (I think they mean just sms anyways), but I couldn't find that in settings. Also, not crazy about the icon it gives you in notification area, as one other poster pointed out, but I didn't know if that was partially due to having already gotten one notification from standard sms app, it's like a weird white sms icon, with a red exclamation mark, which always make me think it's some emergent notification, when it's just a standard sms. Also- LED was working at one point, but now I just get standard green, I assume this is because notifications is still enabled in Droid settings. So:
1) Is that the icon you always get, in notification area, for this app?
2) How do I disable sms notifications, or is it all notifications, and does Missed Call replace everything?
3) How's this app working for you, do you like it, is it working well?
Was a fan of this app. Used it to give me custom color LED (purple) and sound for a call that was missed. As well, for calendar services I used it to flash a custom color LED (blue) and play a sound. Essentially, you could override the system settings and pickup where it left off.Well, as of 2.2 this app is busted. The dev claims to have made a more 2.2 friendly versions.. but its busted. No more color LED selections - stock Droid green and green only - and the Calendar notifications are 100% busted. A missed notification call works in that you can get your custom sound, but only green LED (which is already the stock color for like 3-4 other notification). But like I said.. nothing for calendar.So.. anyone have any tips for replacements in 2.2.I found one - Calendar Notification - and it CAN do colored LED (I used blue) and a custom tone that broke in Missed Call. And I still use Missed Call for missed calls, but hate the green LED. Would love to find 1 app to do it all, hate having 2 apps - 1 of which is busted. and BTW, never figured out why the dev always says the gMail notification is not possible. I have used an app - and they have a 2.2 version that works perfect - called gMail Notifier.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the time I have upgraded to KitKat- I have been facing the issue of Call History. Every Time I miss a Call and I click on the name/number- Its asks me to select a default option of whoch way to open that entry , that is, through Dialer or through History. I tried selecting history and clicked on the "always use this option" but the same thing kept happening every time. After a few tries, I chose the other option and did the same thing and it again kept appearing... It looks like there's a bug in this and it never really saves my preference.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'd like to know which one actually works for Motorola's Droid. I think it should've come standard with the phone, but it didn't. I really need a working app; the two I've installed (Missed Reminder and Missed Call) don't seem to work just as they're supposed to.
View 34 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to receive any sort of audible notification if you receive an SMS while in a call? I have found a dead thread from march with someone asking this on a G1, and they received no reply. I have a Moto Droid on Verizon, and the green light blinks if I am in a call, but there is no way to notice that with the phone stuck to my face. Does anyone know of a setting or an app to make this happen? I am sorry if this is a novice question, but this is truly driving me nuts. I have tried installing a few third party SMS apps like SMSPopup to see if they would help, but alas, nothing has worked.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo my little notification light up in the right corner keeps flashing after I get a call. The only way I've found to stop it is by restarting the phone. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or knew of any possible ways to fix it.I was thinking it might have been a bug with the app Missed Call, but I've played with all the settings on there and it hasn't changed. I don't know what else could be causing it.
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy phone will freeze for 10-15 seconds, then I'll get MAYBE 1 second of phone call, then it'll go to missed call. What's happening here? A similar issue that's also been happening is that I may get the call to ring normally, but then I can't push Answer on the screen so I can't pick up the call. I've updated to Froyo through the OTA update. This wasn't happening after the upgrade, just recently. I've disabled ATK to rule that out, and it's still happening after a reboot.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've searched hi and low, so I apologize if this has been answered before.I have a stock Droid-X. I have my blue-tooth paired to Motorola HT820 stereo/phone headsets. SIDE NOTE: I also use wired stereo ear-buds that are music and phone capable as well. Here's the problem.I can be listening to Pandora with my HT820's all is fine, I am grooving.. then I receive a phone call. I carry on the phone call for 5+ minutes (or whatever) through the HT's and when I disconnect from the call, I have nothing but silence! Music does not come back. I check to make sure Pandora is running and the music is playing yep, still no sound though. So I try and test what is happening.I then go back and call, say voice mail. The call goes over the HT's fine. But when I disconnect from the call, my music is not there. I try turning off, then back on the blue-tooth (I double check in settings I am connected and it is) but it still won't play my music, it will come over the regular speaker, when I turn of the blue tooth. The only way to bring it back is to power off the X. My music will then play again until I receive another call or notification like a text message. The weird thing is this happens when I use the wired ear buds plugged into the jack. These are designed not only for stereo, but handling phone calls too. No sound, I unplug and the music plays out the speaker. Again only powering off and on the X will get the music back into the wired ear buds. Like I said, this is a stock phone, not rooted. Paired and connected, Media and phone checked.
Version 1.13.604MB810.verizon.en.us
Firmware 2.1-update1
Baseband version BP_C_01.09.04P
The new DX and I love it. It's fast and great. I'm a heavy user so I'd like to conserve as much battery as possible. Is it possible to have the screen not light up when I get an SMS or a call?I'd like my phone to just ring without lighting up because I get tons of SMS for my work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYesterday afternoon I had the notification on my incredible that an OTA was available. I inadvertently cleared the notification without installing and don't know how to get the update now. I have tried going to system update but it says nothing is available. I have also compared my software numbers to those posted by phandroid and I definitely have the old, non-updated versions. Will Verizon eventually push me another update or have I completely missed the boat?
