I am looking for an APP that will beep or vibe me when I fail to check a text message, e-mail or miss a phone call. I get some calls and texts and then if I do not answer them right away, I would like an alert. As it is right now, I get one alert or beep and that is it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have done a battery pull, as well as restarted, and rechecked the boxes for repeat sound notifications for my text messages. The repeat sound is set at every 2 minutes. I do receive the original sound notification, but, I never get the subsequent notices. Verizon is at a loss...gee imagine that...But, at the same time, the Haptic (vibrating touch) randomly unchecks it's box and I lose that function about every 2-3 days also.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a Droid today and am enjoying it so far, but one issue I've been having is I want to be able to know when I have an unread message without having to unlock the phone.My last phone had a setting that allowed me to set a tone or alert that would go off every 2, 5 or 10 minutes while I had an unread or un-listened-to message on my phone, so even if I missed the first alert I would still notice when I had something new.

Looking at the accounts will show unread messages, the inbox itself will show unread messages via the counter but there are no messages to click on. Log into google on the web and there they are, as I delete them the message counter counts down but still never shows the emails on the phone. This seems to happen in the mornings. Restarting the phone does nothing. Running BB V1 No aftermarket email apps installed.

In my case they remain "unread" until I go through message. Is this normal? If it is, is there any way around this? If it's not normal, how do I go about making sure it syncs?

It will have one number before I open my inbox and then another unread count within the app (before downloading any new emails). It then updates itself when I exit the messages app. Do you think it might have something to do with too many widgets on my homescreen? I don't have anything major...1x1 more icons, 1x4 smooth calendar, vibrate toggle, htc clock. Anyone else have this issue?

I sent a mass text out today. people started responding. But I am left with 1 notification for an unread text. Well, I have read that text, but it won't clear. I deleted the specific text, it won't clear the 1 in my status bar. When I pull my status bar dropdown menu, it shows the text, so I click on it and handcent force closes. I deleted the entire thread from the person, still didn't clear. Powered down, still didn't clear. DELETED handcent and reinstalled, still didn't clear.

1. Regarding font size. I realize there is no current setting for font size on this phone (that I know of) does anyone here know if the upcoming 2.1 update will include that?
2. I know there is a text size option for the browser. However, it doesent seem to work on most websites I go to (like CNN for example) I try setting it at different sizes and nada. If I need to paste text from another app in my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy SII, O2, Jelly Bean), like from Google Keep or Docs, into a text message it tends to convert from an SMS to MMS. This leads to a charge for me as my SMS messages are included in my tariff but I have no allowance for MMS messages. I presume that this might be something to do with character encoding or other formatting data that is pasted in, but that is only a guess.
Is there any way to stop short messages from being converted to MMS messages like this:? I couldn't find any 'paste clipboard as plain text' option in Android Jelly Bean.
