I can not send any pictures from my droid. Even a 25kb small pix will not go through, I just keep getting the circle spinning. Any suggestions on a fix? I already uninstalled and reinstalled hancent.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI keep trying to attach pictures using Handcent. Keeps telling me pictures are too large and resizing. Then it always force closes handcent. I increased maximum MMS size to 1M. Never had this problem til after the update. Have done a factory reset. Only thing I have not done is uninstall Handcent and reinstall. Anybody else having his issue?

But reliability is Job 1, so I kept chompSMS for a few weeks.Then I heard that Handcent received a major update a few days ago, so I replaced chompSMS with Handcent. So far so good. I got all the features back, and I haven't had one single issue in days of texting. So if you're like me and you left Handcent for chompSMS, you may want to give the new version a spin.

I've tried turning my wifi off, but i can't send either way. I just get the cycling circular "working" icon to the left of the message and nothing happens. So I use Handcent, and it's awesome, but when it comes to taking a photo and then sending it via text, it won't send. It'll say the file size is too big and then I get the little red x to resend, but the same thing happens. When I open the stock text message app, take a photo, and send it the app resizes it automatically. What's the issue? How do I get Handcent to resize the photo automatically? I'm on a Droid2 if that makes a difference.

Is there any setting I may be missing with handcent.I checked the settings option and found nothing. It tells me it is resizing and everything, and it has worked in the past. View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm going to post this here first as this may be Galaxy S specific. I have handcent installed and love it. It's been working great. However tonight when I went to test out sending a picture to my girlfriends phone she received two copies of it. It shows up on my screen as me sending one, but on hers as if i did it twice in a row. What I suspect is that Handcent is sending one and the default messaging app is sending the other. When I open up either of them they both show the thread and show 1 picture sent. I've looked through all the menus in both apps and can't figure out what the problem is.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI've been using Handcent since I've had my Desire, but since the last few updates it seems to have developed a fault when sending the same sms message to multiple contacts. If I send a message to say 3 people, it either force closes, or comes up with the error message not sent. If it comes up with the latter, the messages are queued & sent 1 after the other. I was able to do this no problem before, so has anyone else experienced this in Handcent?

When I first got my phone, which was Monday, It would send pictures messages fine. Now for some reason, when I send them, my friends say they can't see it. The error message they get when receiving it says, "One or more of the messaging components have been deleted by MMS adaption. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset." This has never happened before.

View 4 Replies View RelatedTrying to send a picture taken with the camera via Handcent and always says it is too large - it will "resize" it and retry but it never goes through. I increased the MMS size to max (1 M) but they still are not able to be sent. I then send them with the native messages app (that came loaded on the phone) and they will make it. Any trick I am missing? or other settings I need to change? I hope so b/c I think Handcent is great otherwise really like the bubbles. (I also tried it w/ Chomp and it did not work either).

People send me pictures, they come through on my phone as a gray arrow pointing right like you should be able to click them and play the media, but nothing happens when you click them. I've confirmed that what they are sending me is just a picture taken with a sprint phone.. Why won't the picture display in handcent? What do I have to do to see these pictures?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I first installed Handcent, whenever someone sent me a pic it just popped right up on my screen. No action needed on my part to open a file or anything.
About 2 days ago it started sending these "Download" boxes instead. I press the box that is in the txt msg and it reads "downloading".
Two Questions:
1. Where do those pix download to?
2. Sometimes it says "unable to download"..... now what?! It doesn't tell me why it cannot download the pic.
I get a poor signal at home (did on my Nokia), so half the time when I send a text, there won't be a signal to send it. I always then go and put my phone in a place where there is a signal and leave it..
With my Nokias, the phone would send it fairly quickly (usually within 10-15 minutes).
The message is still sat in Handcent with the whirling round icon next to it. If I copy the message, and resend it, whilst there's a signal, away it goes. I can't find any way to force the send when I want, and I left the resend in a signal area for 1hr 15 mins and it still hadn't sent..
I've been using Handcent and I have trouble receiving and sending picture messages. When I get a picture is views it as a movie? how can I change it so it is just a picture, as for sending pictures, It's not working at all! Any fixes?
