General :: Phone Not Downloading IPhone MMS Messages Or Sending Pictures?
Nov 25, 2012I own a T-Mobile Comet and have been able to download the iPhone MMS messages and send pictures before. I have owned this phone for roughly a year, and starting a couple weeks ago I have been unable to receive the MMS messages or send my pictures, I use Handcent. What happens when I get the message- It says Subject:no subject 1 KB and has a download button, after I press it all that happens is it says "Downloading" for hours on end and never actually does. When I send pictures the send spiral just spins endlessly and it doesn't send. My mobile data is on, my WiFi is off and I'm not sure what else I need to do.

Aug 16, 2010I have a problem. Every time I try to send a photo to my girlfriend on her iPhone via chomp or stock messenger, she never receives them. But she can send me photos just fine.I've tried to lower the quality down and she still does not receive them. I always have to resort to emailing them to her.Does anyone know why this is happening?I thought I read about this on her before but I couldn't find the thread so I apologize if this has already been discussed before.

Oct 30, 2013When a group message is sent between my co-workers, who are all iphone users, and myself (Note 3), one person in the exchange does not receive the text. This is not the common iMessage issue that was plaguing me when I made the switch from Apple to Android. This is specifically affecting one iphone user. When I send her a text individually it is not a problem. The other iPhone users don't have a problem receiving or sending to me.

Jul 5, 2010Still, same issue since i had the DInc from day 1, picture looks great, full 8mp, great looking, fills entire screen. I send an email, says converting to MMS, and it brings my great picture to a thumbnail size pic to other people who have DInc, BB storm, Iphones, and N1s. I see the UI resizing the picture but it's resizing it to something like 70kb, instead of resizing it to the max of 1200kb. When you resize it that low (70kb), you're losing almost 90% of the image size, my brother, who has a storm2, has to download the picture, then zoom it will give him a better picture, but if he doesnt do that, he gets only half a page.
I tried to change size to 5mp, to try to get it to somewhere around 1100kb, which will bypass the phone from resizing it and that seems to work, but it's hit or miss due to the texture of the picture, some will go WAY over 1100kb even if i use the 5mp option. Have we figured out how to send full screen, hi res shots to end users that have capable phones? its 2010 and almost everyone has a smart phone in some way shape of form, i hate that they are not receiving the full benefits of our camera when sending?

Aug 4, 2010When I take a picture and try to send it via email it always tells me it's unable to send email and then sits in the outbox. Is there a way to find out why? I can send emails without attachments just fine.

Mar 25, 2010Do you think that was the method to their madness behind this Samsung galaxy s device? Thinking that they would make something as close to the iPhone as possible for Android? Clearly it was no accident.

- slides app screen the same
- same looking app icons on app screen
- same green phone icon
- same bottom row dock space for 4 apps
- same phone design and size (galaxy being slightly taller)
- etc. (If I missed anything)

"1443xxxxxx Error invalid number. please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code.

Android :: How To Group Message Chat With IPhone IOS4 Users?
Jul 27, 2010Yes, unfortunately I have friends with iPhones. With iOS4, they can basically do a group text chat that has all the users receiving the messages from everyone in one location and all messages are saved. This is basically like a chat group using text messages. My question is whether android has any apps that can allow us to "join" these chats. I asked my friend to add me as a user to the chat but all that accomplishes is letting me get individual messages from each member of the chat. If I wanted to reply to the group, I would have to reply to each one individually.

Aug 22, 2013When I first got my phone, which was Monday, It would send pictures messages fine. Now for some reason, when I send them, my friends say they can't see it. The error message they get when receiving it says, "One or more of the messaging components have been deleted by MMS adaption. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset." This has never happened before.

Sep 27, 2010Ok, I hate iphones, and apple products. But a few of my friends have iphones. One friend in particular has an iphone, and we send pictures sometimes.
The problems is, every time he does, it comes in a slide show. One picture gets sent, and it takes about 5 seconds before I can see it, as it's showing a black slide, and then the picture shows.
It's a real small slideshow picture, and I've got no way to download it even. It's real annoying! He kinda laughs and sometimes will just email it to me, like the way that iphone users had to send pictures before they got the ability to send mms messages.
How hard can this be? Is it something he is not doing right, or is it just some stupid way that iphones send mms messages to where only iphone users can properly use the photos?

Apr 24, 2010It seems like whenever I try to send pictures to others via MMS, it won't let me because the pictures are too large. I know I can have my Hero take pictures it smaller resolutions, but I wouldn't want low-res pictures unless I would want to send them via MMS.
The thing is, a lot of times I dont know ahead of time that a picture I am about to take with the Hero will be used to send in an MMS. So its hard to make the decision to take in a low res beforehand. I could just switch the Hero to take all pics in low res, but then what about all the pics I don't need to send via MMS? They will all be low resolution.

I have done this with WiFi turned off. Sending text is no problem but pictures is. Is there a bug in the handcent app? Just wondering because its getting frustrating. Aug 8, 2010I was wondering if anyone knows how to sort pictures so that the newer pictures are at the beginning of the list? The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. I don't see any option to sort the pictures in any other way.
