I installed the new camera app to take photo-sphere pics. I installed the gallery as well. But all of my pictures already in the gallery are not showing. The screen is blank, though I think all the pictures are in the memory. This happened after I installed the new camera app.

I use the Handcent app and have not been able to view any messages that have arrived ever since last night. After some testing, I foudn that when I enable pop-up notifications, I can view incoming messages. But at no point do they become visible in my inbox... i.e. when I close the pop-up there is no trace of that message ever existing. Other points: I am able to view texts that I have asentThe stock Android messaging app does not receive messages eitherI verified that the Hangouts app has SMS disabled Also, I'm not sure if it is related, but my Handcent app updated yesterday.

I have installed Talkback, Floating Notifications and a few other apps that require accessibility service but none of them appear in the accessibility settings option. Doing the exact same thing on my Android 4.1 based tablet and Android 2.2 phone creates an option to enable accessibility service for apps requiring that. How to get things back to normal?
I am not visually impaired or anything, just want to use those apps which require this. I really want to use Floating Notifications along with XHalo Floating Windows to get Halo like multitasking on the stock rom. The snapshot below is all I get in the accessibility settings screen. I have tried Factory resetting the device and wiping cache/dalvik cache, fixing permissions, things not even distantly related to the problem but to no avail.
Screen mirroring broke on my note 2 with the 4.3 update.
I've read one possible fix was to clear the cache partition (?) But have no idea on a non rooted phone how you would accomplish this. The other alternative is a factory reset but I would need to figure out how to back up my accounts/data to do that.
I'm using a galaxy note 10.1 2013 edition, and was wondering if there are any apps that allow the same functions of the 4.3 trim (clearing cache). If there aren't any, I don't mind having to manually clear cache, but is it possibly to do it without rooting?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy photos all at once disappeared from my gallery. If you look in the folders they are all still there but all of the old photo's have the same Authored Date (7/23/2003 6:36 PM) and the same Date Created (5/9/1970 11:20 PM) the Date Modified is unique as it is the actual date the pictures were taken... These files are not hidden. I do not remember exactly what day I upgraded to 4.3 but it would have been right around the time that the issue started. I tried Scan Media and Rescan Media apps with no success.

There are several ways to terminate an app or to "clear cache". What are the differences between them?
Here are some I have been using without deeper understanding:
- Long press middle button and swiping out one app
- App manager: Clear cache, clear data, force stop
- Restart phone
- Use task manager app to kill app in question
possible to prevent camera app to start automatically rotating into landscape with just the icons adjusting to portrait/ landscape view? I find this real annoying because not just the pop ups are always in landscape but also it does not start or close smoothly and by the way it looks ugly..so is it be possible to make the camera start as other apps in that mode I actually hold my phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was taking a walk and taking photos with my 2 month old galaxy s4. I have never had any issues with it. intill yesterday, I encountered a camera crash. I took out my camera, made a panorama, and then switched to auto mode and that's when my camera froze for like 30 seconds. after, it unfroze. I took a picture and the picture came out well accept the white black little horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the photo. after that I got worried so when I went back to the camera, it said the camera failed message and then it brought me to the home screen. after that, I accessed the camera again and everything was fine, the camera worked, accept the interface was frozen. I could not press the shutter button, gallery button, mode button, video button, etc. so I rebooted my phone and now the camera works perfectly. yesterday after the reboot I took pictures the whole day and It was perfect. today it is perfect too, no crashes. im just getting a little paranoid about why this happened and I am scared something is wrong with my phone as I worked and paid full price. everything is alright now im just wondering, was this a glitch in the software? did the camera crash because it was having a hard time that second to go back to auto mode from panorama mode? this is again, not happening any more but what was the message all about? how come it works now? is my phone alright?

I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. View 9 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else have this issue?When I go in for a close up shot, say 20cms away, the camera focuses fine, turns green, makes a beep them shoots. All fine but when you see the preview or even go into the gallery to view the picture it is out of focus.Sometimes i have to pull back a good 50cms before it will record a focused shot. Is this the macro distance for the DHD?I know it doesn't have stabilization so I've tried this with it mounted and on timer. Still does it. But once I pull back away it behaves as it should.Hope this makes sense. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something in the settings that will eliminate this?

Im satisfied with the pic quality from posted samples. But the original has a noticeable lag when taking one pic to the next making quick shots and successive shots not very practicable. Specially since it makes moving subjects blurry. Does the Droid X camera take faster pics then the original?

Thing is, I can't wait for the GPS all of the time, I just want a point and click cam. I have tried disabling the GPS and it doesn't seem to work until I reboot the phone.
