HTC EVO 4G :: Save Pics - Videos Into SD Card
Jul 25, 2010I have I think a 16GB Micro SD card. But I can't seem to be able to use it. I can't save nothing on it, and when I installed this app Astro, a file manager, I still couldn't do nothing with it. My apps are saved to my phone, and the pictures I take with my phone and the videos are also saved into my phone. Only songs are saved into my SD card. Am I doing something wrong? or is the Micro SD card only made for songs, and not the pictures and the videos and the apps? I have an app to back up my information called m:IQ, and there it says I used up 46% phone memory, and only 2% of the Storage card. So can anybody tell me what's wrong exactly?

Oct 26, 2009i may totally be overlooking this but are the pics/vids sent via MMS stored. If they are on the SD card is there away to make an album? If they are not stored locally, is there an app that does this? I have SMS Backup, but i want the MMS files to be local on my SD card and in an album as all other pics/vids.

PROBLEM: The pics I take WITH the phone camera just go somewhere IN the phone - NOT to my SD card. I can't find any option in the pics to "save to SD card" or anything like that. I had the phone updated the other day and it wiped all the pics I had taken with the phone - but not the SD ones. Now I have more photos and no way to save them to the SD card?
HTC Incredible : Transferring Camera Pics To SD Card
Jul 31, 2010In store Verizon and customer service for over an hour led me to believe that pictures taken on my camera can NOT be transferred to the SD card that is installed. Either that is Horrible or the 4 reps I showed/spoke with are morons. I have 30 pics on my phone that I want sent to the card so I can do a hard reset. Any ideas?

Nov 21, 2010Does anyone else have this issue?When I go in for a close up shot, say 20cms away, the camera focuses fine, turns green, makes a beep them shoots. All fine but when you see the preview or even go into the gallery to view the picture it is out of focus.Sometimes i have to pull back a good 50cms before it will record a focused shot. Is this the macro distance for the DHD?I know it doesn't have stabilization so I've tried this with it mounted and on timer. Still does it. But once I pull back away it behaves as it should.Hope this makes sense. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something in the settings that will eliminate this?

The Motorola Droid definitely had this option, but on the Incredible it looks like it only lets me apply a "Label", which I'm unfamiliar with, though this does not actually move the e-mail to that folder.

Specifically, I've heard that people have problems with the camera lens getting scratched because the phone rests on it if you lay it down on its back. Oct 3, 2010Im looking for sumthin that would when taking a picture, save a copy of it in the normal DCIM folder, BUT also save a copy in another subdirectory... so essentially ill have 2 of them. the current camera i take a picture, then have to go through my sd card with ES file explorer and copy/paste into the backup directory. ive heard good things about "my backup pro"... but what can i do wit hthis. if i used that app would it .zip folder all my media so i could essentially just take the zip off and put it onto the media hard drive in house.

Oct 26, 2010So i rooted my phone this morning. Used the unprovoked to do this. I am not too technical so i needed an easy way to do this otherwise i might have bricked my phone.
Okay so now that i have rooted it i have the following questions:
1) i want to be able to save apps to my SD card (not on froyo yet) - i am not keen on these customized Roms and prefer something more standard what should i do?
2) how do i change the font on my phone
3) what else should i consider doing since i have rooted
With all of the above, hopefully they are easy to follow, as i mentioned i am not too technical.

Sep 1, 2010I just got my first text with a picture since getting this phone last week. In the message, it says "slideshow" and when I click on the "picture", it gives me three icons at the bottom. The far right icon allows me to "save" the picture, but I don't know where it's saving it to, if at all.

Dec 13, 2009I dnt know if this was mentioned but u can save pix from default txts app. You have to watch where u place ur finger. Don't press and hold on the picture attachment, press and hold on the whole message. You will see that the message and the attachment will highlight green and a screen will pop up.
