i want to upload my pics from my phone to my pc--i am new to this forum--there is so much information out there i got tired of searching! The rep at the store wasn't to helpful, soooo, here i am--It is possible to do this, right? I mean after all, it is a droid

Apologies if there is a thread about this already (couldn't find it)... I used to be able to upload a mobile pic directly to Facebook and it would show on my wall/in my friends' feeds. Lately, my pics go directly to my "Mobile Pics" album, and do not show on my wall unless I publish the entire album again. I've checked my Facebook settings, and everything is set to 'Publish Content to my Wall", but my mobile pics continue to get uploaded directly to the album and do not publish. Anyone else having trouble with this? I'm not sure if it's a problem with the phone, the FB app, or my Facebook settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the original Droid. Love it. Thinking of getting the Droid X. One question. How is the shutter compared to the original? Im satisfied with the pic quality from posted samples. But the original has a noticeable lag when taking one pic to the next making quick shots and successive shots not very practicable. Specially since it makes moving subjects blurry. Does the Droid X camera take faster pics then the original?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I take a picture with my Droid X, and it doesn't save at all.It seems to be tied to the GPS, because if I wait for the GPS to tag the photo, then it SEEMS to work MOST of the time. Thing is, I can't wait for the GPS all of the time, I just want a point and click cam. I have tried disabling the GPS and it doesn't seem to work until I reboot the phone. Anyone else having this issue, any suggestions?

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust bought this sprint samsung moment a few weeks ago, and I was wondering why I can't upload mobile pics from my phone to facebook. I have the facebook app on my phone and it does not seem to let me upload mobile pic's. In order for me to upload pic's I have to go to the mobile version of facebook and upload the pic via some email wich then post the pic for u, but the problem is it seems to post my pic's side ways.
I know lots of folks with other phones some of them crappy that just click on the photo and select upload to facebook....why can't I do that on this phone? Why does this phone not give me the option to upload from the pic? Why does the facebook app FOR android not let me upload photo's?
Any reason why I can't upload pics from phone to PC, even if I insert memory card? It wanted me to install 'media Go' which I did and still no joy. Any sugestions/advice? many thanks in advance, It's probably something simple (like me) lol

View 11 Replies View RelatedUsually when I want to upload pictures to my computer I hook up my phone via USB cord and transfer them, that way I can edit them and what not. Lately though, every time I try to go into my "DCIM" folder (aka Camera Pictures) to transfer them my Windows Explorer freezes up and I basically can't do anything to transfer my pictures. I have dropped my phone in water but this was a few months ago and every thing else has seemed fine so far. Could it possibly be the SD card?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI remember seeing this on the Motorola Droid page but, would one of you smart guys/gals be willing to post a sticky on how to UPLOAD their OTA upgrade, should they receive it?All I know is that you're supposed to postpone the actual installation and save it to the card. or something. IF by some chance I happen to get mine while I'm home, and IF someone else doesn't beat me to it, I'd be more than willing to upload it somewhere (megauploader?) to share. That is, of course, providing I'm actually home when it happens.Or, maybe if it's as simple as saving it to the SD card, I could copy it and email it to one of you more tech-savvy individuals if I'm away. Or, maybe someone else would be willing to do the same. Perhaps one of you mods would be nice enough to post instructions in a sticky? Whenever I try sending one picture as a slideshow, the recipient (even if they have a similar Verizon phone, like the Droid) can't see it. It never used to do that, but I don't see a setting that will allow me to just send the picture without making it a slideshow.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have facebook synced up to my contacts so that their fb pics can also be their contact photo, except they only show up half the time. is anyone else having this problem? it was sorta annoying before but now it's really bothering me because I just DL'd the handcent update and now they have the contact pics next to the chat bubble. Is there anyway to keep the pics on there at all times or any reason they go away?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWell, because no one has any idea how to change from the phone symbol to the index card symbol on the large "people" icons I found another way to do what I want.
I still can't believe nobody knows how to fix that problem but oh well.
Anyway, I found that you can add a people shortcut which adds a small face icon and made my own people page.
It works great. When you tap it it brings up all of the persons info and allows you to choose what action you want.
Just like the large default people icons *IF* you could change to the index card symbol.
Now, the ONLY problem is, I can't get the persons picture to show up on the main page instead of the silhouette pic.
I am synced with google so all my contacts have pics and they DO show up in the info when you tap on the icon but NOT on the main page icon.
I just want to add the pic to the home page icon, any ideas how to to do it ?
This might be a stupid question, but is there a way to get pics and videos I have taken with my Eris over to my computer via the USB cable?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI dnt know if this was mentioned but u can save pix from default txts app. You have to watch where u place ur finger. Don't press and hold on the picture attachment, press and hold on the whole message. You will see that the message and the attachment will highlight green and a screen will pop up.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem sending pictures with the gmail widget on my eris. I take the picture and attach it to an email composed with the gmail widget. However, when the recipient (and my own gmail account to test) receives the email, the pictures are not viewable. They just appear as a red "x". I can send the same email from the phone to my hotmail account and the pictures show up fine. I have tried different resolution sizes, but with the same result. I have accessed gmail through the phone's browser to try to send the attachments that way, but cannot see that there is an option to include attachments. It is pretty frustrating to use a gmail widget to have the pictures not appear when sent to my own gmail account. Then to check my hotmail account and see that the pictures appear fine.
