After update to 4.3 I lost Swedish input language. Trying around I mistakenly set Thai display language for the phone, including setup. I do not speak Thai and do not know know how to set back English.

I choose a wrong phone language by mistake, how do I change it back to english.
The language I selected by mistake, it's one I don't understand at all.
I donwnloaded & visited the support site, but I couldn't resolve my problems with the instrucctions in the manual From the Home screen, drag upwards. Find and tap Settings > Locale & text > Select locale. Select an option.
If you choose the wrong language and can't read the menu texts, go to www.sonyericsson.com/support for help.
I just got my phone I have already messed it up. During the start up I was scrolling the languages to see all the phone supported when it chose CZECH as the main language. Is there a way to change the language back to English and if you can will you tell me what the worlds are in czech so that I know which buttons I need to hit.

I of course read the woes and pro's of KK 4.2.2 after I did the update!! grin! and do not like the restricted access to my SD card folder creation file transfers etc and want to go back to JB. "A", can I go back with Odin and a stock Bell JB for the note 3, and have it all back like I did before the update...."B" What about my trip counter etc? Will that be effected?

I choose add input language. It says tap to download (Swedish). The download progress bar appears but never starts to fill. Wait long. Finally it says "download failed".
Is it possible to use Google Now in English, without changing the phone language?
I know it works with other languages, but then it gives only search results and it doesn't 'talk back' like in English...
Also will Google Now support other languages to 'talk back' in the future?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo at school i was charging my phone on the PC there. All of a sudden my phone turns off. I try to turn it back on and it does turn on. It shows the Motorola logo for a few seconds and turns back off. I went home that day and used by default charger and charged it. It showed the green light. The phone turned on and did the same thing, it shows the Motorola logo for a few seconds and turns back off and if i leave it the process repeats. The green light also flashes a few times. When i press both the volume up and down at the same time, it shows options to either normal powerup, recovery, fastboot, factory and tools. I tried normal powerup, recovery and factory but it would just turn on showing the motorola logo for a few seconds and turn back of.When i unplug the phone and try to turn it on, it wont work.

No driver available (or at least nothing works). I need to roll it back to jelly bean, then I should be able to get the correct driver and root it. I have a GNex. But have my phone in German. Because of this Google Search and Google Now are also in german.
And Google voice no longer talks back to me. Even though I have changed my setting(or so I think) to english. Google Now still defaults to giving me search results for google.de

I have a semi-rooted Galaxy S3 (I tried to root it but even the apps installed by KingRoot said my phone wasn't rooted... I also occasionally get a notification that says "unauthorized access to a secure area has been blocked." I also tried to factory reset in an attempt to un-root, but nothing happened..
Anyway, I tried to update to 4.2 (I'm on Sprint) and now my phone won't turn on.
I just got OS4.3 pushed to my Samsung Galaxy S3 and noticed the "eye" symbol in my notification bar. The icon remained there even though Smart-Stay wasn't enabled and I have no Smart-Rotation feature showing on my phone when I go into Settings->My Device->Smart Screen. Instead, the "Eye" icon disappears when I disable my screen rotation. My coworker, on a different wireless/phone carrier, got the 4.3 upgrade last week (on his Galaxy S3) and HAS the Smart-Rotate option in his settings.
I don't wan't the camera active and draining battery just because I have screen-rotation enabled.
After recently updating to the latest android 4.3 on my Note 2, I suddenly cannot play voicemails through my car bluetooth anymore. I can still make and receive calls through the car and therefore dial into my voicemails, but cannot just play back a specific message directly from my list of voicemails within the voicemail program - its the stock program that came with the phone. I can also play back directly through my bluetooth headset, just not to my car audio anymore. What gives? Obviously something changed with the update that I cant figure out. This is the last time I ever do an update unless its absolutely necessary, it seems like every time something gets jacked up that takes me hours to resolve.
