How to remove pictures in gallery in jelly 4.1.1 cannot pinch to zoom out to enter "filmstrip mode. Have attempted to remove pics with file manager, no luck. I do have Picasa app in gallery but cannot find out to delete. Cannot transfer pics to pc to remove pics.

Now it appears that there is no such option and the closest to NOW is 15 minutes before. This can really be a major upheaval in people's lives, although it may seem trivial at first. There seems to be no option to delete pictures, at least the way it's been in the last few versions of android.
I've updated my galaxy grand-duos android from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2..I have had some problems at first..including apps problems every application started crashing..so uninstalled and reinstalled them again & they worked just fine.I still have a problem with one app, which is instagram.Since I updated my android , I cant upload pictures on instagram anymore except for the pictures that were on the phone before the update.I tried uninstalling & reinstalling instagram many time & nothing happened.

It's like this: when our devices (S100, otherwise known as the Karbonn A9+ in India) are still in Android ICS(4.0.4), it's really a breeze to change the boot(splash) logo using the AIO flasher. Anyways, since we updated our devices to JB 4.1.2, I have tried and failed (countless times) in changing the boot logo using AIO (partition table does not exist). The boot logo also appears during off-charging (before the animated battery).So I searched the web and found the link below(which looks promising) and tried but I get the "can't open dev/block/mmcblock0p18" error. It's NOT the boot animation, it's THE boot logo guys.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this morning that my picasaweb upload button is missing in my camera/gallery app.
There used to be a button in the upper-right corner (right next to the share button that allows you to select gmail, IM, etc) that would allow me to upload the photo to a selected album (or create a new album) in picasaweb. I'm not sure when this disappeared, but I noticed today that it is no longer there. I installed an OS update a day or two ago, so it may have been then. Now I see the share button, and a gmail button, and that's it. If I select the drop down menu from the share button, there is no picasaweb option there.
I can see all of my picasaweb albums on my phone, and am synced with google photo in my settings, but the upload button is gone.
I instaled a sd memory card, changed the settings in the camara options. Pics are saved in extSdcard folder but not in the memory card. What can I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to pull in google plus photos when using photoshop touch and autostitch apps etc. But their import options only access local folders on my device. I can download individual photos one at a time to a generic download folder from google plus to use, not full albums. When I try to create a new folder in gallery, and move the Picasa/Google Plus photos I get a notice saying "unsupported file." I read somewhere that there should be an option in gallery that makes photos available offline, but I don't have that. Just basically trying to be able to organize and download my g+ photos for use with these apps, in a less time consuming way.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI haven't seen anything about the privacy implication for me as the recipient of the picture.I do not have a Google+ account. I have sync turned off for contacts because I think that Google has proven themselves too untrustworthy to have that information.
The only way I can see that the pictures get into my contacts is that on each incoming call the phone app takes the phone number in the incoming caller ID and queries Google to see if a picture is available. In the process, this gives Google a complete list of everyone calling me, an unacceptable privacy violation as far as I'm concerned.
Is there a way to disable it so that my incoming calls are not leaked to Google?
My photos all at once disappeared from my gallery. If you look in the folders they are all still there but all of the old photo's have the same Authored Date (7/23/2003 6:36 PM) and the same Date Created (5/9/1970 11:20 PM) the Date Modified is unique as it is the actual date the pictures were taken... These files are not hidden. I do not remember exactly what day I upgraded to 4.3 but it would have been right around the time that the issue started. I tried Scan Media and Rescan Media apps with no success.

I've had my phone almost two years and have never used tunein radio. Then suddenly yesterday it pops up a notification, and as soon as I touch that, trying to swipe-remove it, a station loads and starts playing. This is disastrous for me because mobile data is ridiculously expensive here and I need all of it for work purposes. So taoday I go to play store and uninstall it. And then get told that it's a system app so all the uninstall has done is remove all updates. Great, now I have a potentially insecure app that I don't want.
How can I remove it, or at the very least block it from using network? (I do have Sophos AV).

I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I cannot unlock it. Is there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program without using the touchscreen?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just recently got an optimus G e970. I downloaded CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip for the rom.I used "adb push CM10.2.zip /sdcard/" to move the files files to my sdcard and i sucessfully installed cyanagenmod BUT i can't delete the .zip files left behind.
When i go to recovery mode, i see the files in my sdcard but there are not options to remove it. I connected the phone to my PC and i can't see CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip file in my sdcard. I tried installign root explorer and esfile explorer and enabled hidden files but i can't find this file in my sdcard (internal storage) or sdcard1 (physical sdcard). However, i can still see them in recovery mode, BUT again there is not option to remove the .zip files in recovery mode.!
I find myself hitting call way to often when texting, is there a way to remove this icon/choice from messaging?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.
