HTC Incredible :: Sending A Video Still Not Working

Im having an issue sending a video on my incredible. i dont understand whats going on and i dont think im doing something wrong but who knows...
I went into camcorder, changed everything to defult. i changed the resolution to the 640 and was able to send up two a 2 second video. then i went to the lowest resolution which was like 320 or whatever and was able to send up to a 5 second video. thats about it... i sat on the phone with verizon maybe...2 hours? THEY could not figure it out. they said they has to borrow another verizon enployee's phone to mess with it and she kept getting the same issue saying the file is two large. its set for 30 seconds, then 20 seconds, 15, 10, all of them will not work over 5 seconds of a video to send. they said they dont understand why there is nothing in the settings saying switch to mms or sms or something and contacting someone to update that asap because it made no sence to them. i dont understand this and its getting annoying.
So then, i tried downloading some app called youcast or whatever, and it kind of worked. it says it bypasses the size limit or whatever. i sent a video to my friend and it says he got it, but needs to download the app first to view it. im waiting to hear from him if he downloads it and is able to view it. but that still sucks because what if you dont have an android? then youcast wont work.
And not only is this issue with me, but 6 of my friends with the htc incredible are not able to send videos either after they messed around with it all.
So my questions are...
Is there any other apps out there like youcast that might work or be better too?
My settings right now on camcorder are...
white balance: auto
resolution: QVGA(320x240) and i tried switching around between that all the way to 720p(1280x720)
storagehone storage and i have switched to storage card
encoding type MPEG4
Recording Limit: 30 seconds. again i tried all other settings.

Does anybody know the right setting for videos in order to send them in messages to people? Everytime I record something and try to send it it says the file is too big even if its only a few seconds.

Ok so I have tried ever setting in my resolution and filmed 20 sec's of random stuff and tried to send it through MMS and no luck all it says is file to big. Am i missing something here.

When trying to do 720p recording the camera freezes, turns black and requires a battery removal. I got about 3 seconds of 720p recording but even when I go in to view the video it freezes or lags severely to the point I need to remove the battery.

How do i look inside my current rom to see if anything is out of wack with my framework? mms stoped working for some reason. i cannot send or recieve mms or video. if i wipe and clear cache and reinstall the rom it will work just fine but when i titanium backup all my apps and system data, thats when i lose the ability to send pics or recieve them. i have not deleted anything from the system but it seems as something has gone missing. i am running second wave with latest radio.

I have Skyraider 2.5.2, and my whenever I try to record video, my phone reboots. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I was told I need to update my radio. So for 2.15, I need to do unprovoked Forever. How do you do any of the other 2.xx radio updates. I remember something about unrooting your phone or something, but I can't find it anymore.

I lowered my resolution to VGA and i was actually able to send the video message but it took forever (and it was only a 6 second video) and then i got a text back saying that my friends phone couldnt support the file or somethin.He just got a Droid X so I dont see why it would say that and he has unlimited data.Anybody else having problems sending video messages?

Do you guys know what the best settings are for sending video over the EVO as a message? I've tried multiple ways, and the only way i can get it to work is on the lowest settings, and the quality blows.

i feel like gtalk could be upgraded to include certain features like video sending, picture sending, etc. why doesn't google or anyone else do this? why not make gtalk like bbm so the one thing blackberry users have over android users is gone?

I tried to send a video using gmail, I couldn't do it, it said file to big or something like that. It was only like 20 seconds long. I really like this phone but it seems to be really limited when it comes to MMS or sending video's whether its email or MMS. My sister has verizon (and I do to) when she sends me text or MMS and adds a smiley face it modifies the msg and she gets a msg back saying my phone dont support enhanced msg. wtf? My razr really did better when it came to mms. There has to be something not adjusted right on this phone.

I make hobby related instructional videos for newcomers and I was thinking I could improve my how-to videos if I saw what my phone was recording real time. The problem is that I cannot find the right formula to link my S4 up to my ASUS tablet so I can view what I am recording.
I want to start recording a video on my phone and be able to see the video real time via WiFi or Bluetooth or ?? on my tablet so I can make sure I am recording what I want to record by looking at my tablet screen.

Can someone guide me to what is the best way to send picture/video to an email contact? I am currently using 1.6 tweaked v3 and the problem is if I can't send message using the message app(because can't find email contacts) but have to go through contacts (gmail)to send a picture. However when I do that, I can't attach a video. Now if I use the camera/camcorder app, while reviewing pictures the "send to" doesn't work. If i click on "default destination" and delete the emply destination I can choose between 5 options. The phone book option say "sorry!" the application has stopped unexpectedly and to force close. I can send video using the video player which is weird since doing it in the camcorder app won't work!. Seems alot of round about ways to do something which should be simple.

Has anybody been able to successfully send a video via text to an iPhone? I have tried six different users (two being mine and my wifes 3gs') and not one successful attempt. I also cannot send text using most of the secondary characters on the number/symbol keyboard, such as the degree symbol. If there are any of the secondary characters, the recipient gets nothing on their end. It's like I never sent it.

my application is not a service, it's a normal application, with some windows and some stuff. i dont wanna make it a service cos is too munch complicated and i prefeer to avoid it then, if my application is not a service, when it goes to background (home key pressed for example), it continues working (sending/getting data from internet)? i ask this because i read this on a developer guide tutorial: "Because an Activity can perform actions only while it is active and in focus, you should create your status bar notifications from a Service"

Is there a trick to sending a video MMS? Nobody I send them to receives them for some reason. I don't get any error messages or anything, but they never receive the message.
I haven't got any for a while either. Not sure if I have missed any or if nobody has tried to send me any. Anyway, what do I have to do to get working video MMS?

When I click on the camera or video Icon. It goes to load it to where you see the black screen with the white camera and then quickly goes back to the home screen.

I did a search on this and didn't come up with any hits for the inc.If I want to send a long message (over 160 characters) I use to be able to send as mms on my bb and it would not break the message up into seperate messages like it did on regular sms.How do I do this on the Inc? I looked for a mms option when texting and didn't find one. I am using Handcent and shapewriter for a keyboard, but also looked on the stock messaging app and didn't see one there either.

So I've been using 2.5.2, love it. However, I'm not able to send mms messages. Receiving is no problem, I've tried the settings through messaging. Anyone else have this problem or a solution to it?

Has anyone else had a problem when trying to send a MMS message. I took a picture and tried to send it to a friend of mine and my wife two different times, with two different sized pictures and the message never goes through. I just keep getting a message sending error, until the notification gets so annoying I delete the message all together.

I have a problem. Every time I try to send a photo to my girlfriend on her iPhone via chomp or stock messenger, she never receives them. But she can send me photos just fine.I've tried to lower the quality down and she still does not receive them. I always have to resort to emailing them to her.Does anyone know why this is happening?I thought I read about this on her before but I couldn't find the thread so I apologize if this has already been discussed before.

I've noticed in my old blackberry that when I would send a message I had the option of adding a BCC recipients so that nobody else can see who else I fwd to. How can I do this on the Incredible? I've looked but I haven't been able to find that option. It's gotta have it I'm sure!

This is a G1 and I am using a WiFi connection. when I go to Youtube ap and click Menu/my account/my videos , I can see all the videos uploaded via computer, but not the G1 video i waited 10 minutes to upload. they seem to upload into nowhere.
