Has anyone else had a problem when trying to send a MMS message. I took a picture and tried to send it to a friend of mine and my wife two different times, with two different sized pictures and the message never goes through. I just keep getting a message sending error, until the notification gets so annoying I delete the message all together.

Does anyone know of a specific problem with blackberry's receiving picture messages? When I send them my friend gets an error message and can't download the pic. I have tried sending different sized pics, even pics he sent to me and still the same problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can send mms to my friends on at&t that DON'T have iphones, they get them just fine. however, EVERYONE I've tried to send an mms to that has an iphone, it never gets through. this is using chomp for the most part, but I've also tried it with the stock messaging app (the girl i sent the message to using the stock messaging app got it once, but I've tried it at least 100 times over the past few days trying to figure out the issue.and she's gotten a message ONCE).regular SMS texts go through fine, and i can receive from iphones just fine.
to recap:
incredible mms to at&t non-iphone --> works fine . incredible mms to at&t iphone --> does not work
at&t iphone mms to incredible --> works fine . at&t non-iphone mms to incredible --> works fine
anyone else seeing this?
When I take a picture and try to send it via email it always tells me it's unable to send email and then sits in the outbox. Is there a way to find out why? I can send emails without attachments just fine.

"com.android.mms A large number of text SMS messages are being sent. Select 'ok' to send"
So.....I did send out 100+ messages within like 5 minutes...just sending out a mass txt message letting people know of my new number. So is this Androids way of anti-spam?
I need a way to turn it off, because now I have to make this extra step every single time i send a text message
I'm using Handcent, but I get the same thing if I use the inbuilt messages app. Basically I select a group to send an SMS to and when I send the message it comes back that the multiple messages haven't been sent, but they actually have. First time it happened I kept trying to re-send, got the delivery error every time, despite all 5 lots of messages being sent - I spammed a load of friends! Oddly sometimes it works fine and Handcent does the correct sending of each msg one after another.

POP3 incoming mail works, is sent to my phone.Problem is I can not send an email using that account.I get an "Authentication error sending" message on my phone. I have checked the Outgoging Server settings, and the SMTP server and port are correct. The username and password are correct. I have tried just username and username@domain.com.I didnt not have any problems configuring my work email account on my Blackberry.The email Server is IPSwitch Imail 11.Please help, I hate having to send work related emails through my gmail or yahoo accounts.

I'm having some problems with an error message I'm getting from the Facebook application that came with the phone. The message im getting is "an error has occurred while fetching data [malformedJSon]". This is when I go to new feeds. Anyone else having this issue or know how to resolve it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedBeen trying for a month to get my business POP3 email to pull down on the Droid. Have tried both the default email app and K9. I am able to send email from the default app, but it will not receive. Just says 'Connection error'. Have checked the settings a dozen times. They are correct. 1st time I tried K9 3 weeks ago, I got no where. C"connection errors". Today I reinstalled it, and all of the sudden it starts pulling down headers. But - about half the emails I click on won't pull down the rest of the message. Just sits there and says 'Downloading...', then after several seconds says 'Connection error'. This is when I start cussing profusely. Sending email from K9 seems to work ok.Anybody else having this same issue? Suggestions? Is there another email app to try?

1. Register the device and get back a device registration ID 2. The server gets a Client Authorization Token for "ac2dm" service 3. The server then sends a message to the device via C2DM using the registration id and the client authorization code and gets the following "NotRegistered" message back.
Meaning: NotRegistered — The registration_id is no longer valid, for example user has uninstalled the application or turned off notifications. Sender should stop sending messages to this device.
The thing is as soon as i get the registration id i am sending it to my server which is then sending a message via C2DM all within the space of 1 minute. so how can it not be valid?
I have registered for use the C2DM service and i would expect that if i was not registered with Google then i would not get a registration device id right? Although i don't remember getting an email from google saying i was registered apart from that when i registered to be white listed it did say something about being added to a list. Anyway your views and opinions are welcome.
I did a search on this and didn't come up with any hits for the inc.If I want to send a long message (over 160 characters) I use to be able to send as mms on my bb and it would not break the message up into seperate messages like it did on regular sms.How do I do this on the Inc? I looked for a mms option when texting and didn't find one. I am using Handcent and shapewriter for a keyboard, but also looked on the stock messaging app and didn't see one there either.

But she can send me photos just fine.I've tried to lower the quality down and she still does not receive them. Just this morning i turned my phone off when i get to work to charge it and turn it on...and i show i sent a text to my gf at 12:09pm...its now only 9:25AM. WTF? Its always force closing as well. I went into camcorder, changed everything to defult. i changed the resolution to the 640 and was able to send up two a 2 second video. then i went to the lowest resolution which was like 320 or whatever and was able to send up to a 5 second video. thats about it... i sat on the phone with verizon maybe...2 hours? THEY could not figure it out. they said they has to borrow another verizon enployee's phone to mess with it and she kept getting the same issue saying the file is two large. its set for 30 seconds, then 20 seconds, 15, 10, all of them will not work over 5 seconds of a video to send. they said they dont understand why there is nothing in the settings saying switch to mms or sms or something and contacting someone to update that asap because it made no sence to them. i dont understand this and its getting annoying.
So then, i tried downloading some app called youcast or whatever, and it kind of worked. it says it bypasses the size limit or whatever. i sent a video to my friend and it says he got it, but needs to download the app first to view it. im waiting to hear from him if he downloads it and is able to view it. but that still sucks because what if you dont have an android? then youcast wont work.
And not only is this issue with me, but 6 of my friends with the htc incredible are not able to send videos either after they messed around with it all.
So my questions are...
Is there any other apps out there like youcast that might work or be better too?
My settings right now on camcorder are...
white balance: auto
resolution: QVGA(320x240) and i tried switching around between that all the way to 720p(1280x720)
storagehone storage and i have switched to storage card
encoding type MPEG4
Recording Limit: 30 seconds. again i tried all other settings.
I got the phone today. IT'S AWESOME. however, i've set up my gmail and school email accounts, seemingly without a hitch. I started getting emails right away. Then... i go to respond to the emails, through either account, and my email sending keeps failing! I sent it, then get a message a minute later saying they couldn't be sent.

1. He is on my Facebook contact. (His facebook pic appears in my Desire contact list)
2. He is my Gmail contact as well.
3. He is added as a 'Phone Contact' as well.
I sent him a text few days ago but don't remember if it was using facebook or my phone (network provider sms) but now when I go in to 'Messages' and send him a message, I just can't figure out if I am sending him a message via Facebook or to his mobile number.
I've been using Handcent and I have trouble receiving and sending picture messages. When I get a picture is views it as a movie? how can I change it so it is just a picture, as for sending pictures, It's not working at all! Any fixes?

View 3 Replies View RelatedStill, same issue since i had the DInc from day 1, picture looks great, full 8mp, great looking, fills entire screen. I send an email, says converting to MMS, and it brings my great picture to a thumbnail size pic to other people who have DInc, BB storm, Iphones, and N1s. I see the UI resizing the picture but it's resizing it to something like 70kb, instead of resizing it to the max of 1200kb. When you resize it that low (70kb), you're losing almost 90% of the image size, my brother, who has a storm2, has to download the picture, then zoom it will give him a better picture, but if he doesnt do that, he gets only half a page.
I tried to change size to 5mp, to try to get it to somewhere around 1100kb, which will bypass the phone from resizing it and that seems to work, but it's hit or miss due to the texture of the picture, some will go WAY over 1100kb even if i use the 5mp option. Have we figured out how to send full screen, hi res shots to end users that have capable phones? its 2010 and almost everyone has a smart phone in some way shape of form, i hate that they are not receiving the full benefits of our camera when sending?
