Wiped cache did factory reset
Rooted phone with unrevoked
Installed Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense to verify I liked the build.

Confirmed everything worked but the camcorder
upgraded kernel to 2.6.32.15-king-HAVS-Oc-Uverik@Ubuntu #3

They said the file size was too large, are there settings I have to change to be able to send videos?.My buddy has a Moto Droid, its got a MMS setting, I can't seem to find that on the Incredible.

To do this, go to your phone and:
-Dial: *#*#4636#*#* (You don't have to press Call)
-Press: Battery information
-Post: Battery temperature
Mine, after it's been sleeping is: 23.8*C
I don't know if the temperature can be displayed in *F.
I haven't found an App that records CPU temp for the Incredible, if it's possible.
F to C Deduct 32, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9
C to F Multiply by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32
Can you record from the FM radio on the Incredible?

View 3 Replies View RelatedAs the HTC Evo 4Gs are slowly making their way into the hands of people (after the Google I/O event), it seems that 720p videos are making their way onto Youtube. I've collected a handful so that people could see what was representative of the Evo's video. I've noted whether they are indoors or outdoors since the amount of light can have a significant impact on the quality of the video.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have tried to play several H.264 720p video samples on my EVO, and I get sound but no video. Two examples are the Simpsons trailer and the Fantastic Four trailer at H.264 Demo Clips | H264info.com I get no error, and I have tried the Android media player and several others (which are no doubt using the same API's underneath). Is it expected that video will not play for these files? Obviously the phone's screen would not be able to play them in full detail but I didn't expect that it could not play them at all. What is the point of having 720p resolution over HDMI when the phone can't play videos at that resolution? Or is it that it supports some particular type of H.264 and these videos aren't supported? Or is it actually trying to output directly through HDMI and I see nothing since I don't have it hooked up? UPDATE: I trans coded these sample trailers using Handbrake, and even when I end up with a LARGER file size they do play at 720p. But if I use the high quality preset, they do not work even at a low butyrate at 720p. So it's something about the "advanced options" that determines whether the EVO can play it or not.

View 49 Replies View RelatedHello all. I like to cut and splice my video files together to make one movie. I usually do this with Windows movie maker. That program doesn't recognize the .3gp format that the video files are in when I take them off the phone. So, I convert them to .avi. Is there a program that will ensure that the 720p quality is maintained through the conversion to .avi, or is there another format I should be converting them into? I can't remember the program I use now, but it doesn't look like it is staying in 720p quality. After making the complete video on windows movie maker I get an option to export the video in 720p, but if the input video is not 720p, the final output cannot be 720p right?
