View 13 Replies View RelatedOne question arised on my mind when reading reviews of Galaxy S - is there any video player capable of playing HD content (720p) and showing subtitles - either from srt file or directly from MKV?
There are players with subtitles support but I am afraid that to play HD content 1Ghz processor is not enough and that Galaxy's internal player is also taking advance of GPU which others players do not.
Just flashed CM 6.0.0-N1 and all went well, except there is no 720p option in camera quality settings. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I'm running the new baseband 32.41.00.32H_5.08.00.04 from the korean rom if that makes a difference.
Is the HTC Incredible capable of watching streaming video? For example, full FOX episodes, like Family Guy and such? Or is there an app for it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded and tried lots of video players from the Android Market, namely Vplayer, mVideoPlayer, Rockplayer Lite, RealPlayer, Meridian and MX Video Player. They are all similar and lack one function which I have to have, and that is being able to play at a higher speed, around 1.3x to 1.7x like desktop VLC player.
Do you you know any video player currently on Android that has this function? I can not stand movies at normal pace because I find them too slow for my taste.
sorry to go on about the video camera but, any one out there know whats best for 720p? h.264 or mpeg4? or is it a case of i should definitely be using one or the other?
View 1 Replies View RelatedEncoding a video to the following specs and loading it on the EVO plays with the included video player perfectly. No jumping and clear, in sync sound. 720p resolution so the HDMI out should work once the cables are available. h.264 at Level 3.1, 3 reference frames and baseline profile. 1280 x 720 AAC stereo audio at 44100Hz, 128kbps Bit rate does not seem to be all that important as long as the video file is less than 2GB.Muxed to an mp4 container in IMSA standard format and optimized for streaming.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAre there any apps out there that take the movie file and apply the right codec to it so that the file can be downloaded in 720p? Is this something HTC is planning on updating or did they do it intentionally for some reason? Can I upload files to youtube from my phone in 480p?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy highest bitrate for 720p video on my class 6 card is 6Mbps.
Class 2 = 2MBps write = 16Mbps
So no need to get a class 6 card, they are not worth double the price of a class 2.
Is it possible to use the USB cable and hook up the Evo to a ps3, download the video, and play the video in 720p? IS the HDMI cable necessary?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAre there any special settings I should have when recording in 720p? every time I take video then play it back on my pc its super choppy and the video skips all over the place. the audio seems to be fine (LOL) but the video is unwatchable. should i just go back to the regular resolution? any one else have this problem?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just uploaded a test video, I don't see a setting and it didn't push up the 720p that the video was recorded in.
View 3 Replies View RelatedTried doing a search but after sifting through many pages, decide to put in a new topic. I was recording a video using the HTC camcorder. Why does the video save as a .3gp format even though I selected mp4 and 720p in settings? Did I do something wrong? Is it really 720p? Did not know that 3gp had the ability to do HD video.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I recorded some videos yesterday, assuming it would record in 720p by default. However when uploading to YouTube, it would only allow up to 480, not giving the option of 720p playback.
Well today, I noticed different resolutions. Is 1280x720 the 720p resolution? If so, then I may have figured it out myself.
Is there an app or website that lets you download or stream video clips (movie trailers, etc.) in 720p?
I tried youtube and selected "view in high quality" but I highly doubt it was displaying 720p.
When I use the camera function on my Desire I have the ability to turn the flash for the camera on or off. When using video however, the flash icon has a cross through it and I am unable to turn it on. Is there a way to turn on the LED/flash while recording video in low light situations?
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust have a new htc desire on orange.I can't believe it doesn't even have the option to use the LED light when using the videocam. This is such a great feature when you are out in a bar, pub, or club or just outside at night. I have an old sony and nokia and they both have the feature and I have loads of great vids because of it.I have spent hours searching for apps that might make the LED light next to the camera work but there doesn't seem to be one. This means if you are using the phone as a light you have to use the screen like a numpty and not the powerful led. Should have gone for the xperia as my friend has it and it has this feature.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOn the behold 2 there is no light when in the video mode like with the regular behold. Sometimes I would like to shoot videos of the kids outside at night but the lighting is bad. I downloaded momentflash and love it. I used that while video recording it worked great. My only concern is the warning with momentflash that says
"overuse of the flash may damage it especially in bright mode" Is there anything that can be done to have a light when recording? Or to dim the light a bit?
I watch quite a few .mp4's on my Desire, and I'll really like to turn off the the backlight behind the physical buttons if possible, not so much to aid battery life but for the factor they are a bit annoying if you're watching something in the dark. Is this possible? My device isn't rooted.
