Is there is a way to take slide show off when I receive a picture message? its annoying I receive one picture go to view it it displays for 5 seconds and then goes back to the text... Is there a way that it doesn't have to be view in slide show mode?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I had 2.1 on my EVO I would occasionally get single picture MMS that I would receive as a "slide show," however, when I would try to view the picture, it would open up in the slide show mode or about HALF A SECOND then close. VERY ANNOYING. Well, before I could try to fix the annoyance, I dropped my phone, sent it in for repair an 20 days later, got my EVO back. The slide show half-second-opening was FIXED matter of fact I was NOT receiving anything as a slide show at all. THEN, one day, my father (also on Sprint, using a Samsung Rant) sends me a SINGLE picture and it appears as a slide show!! Well, the slide show worked which is well, ok but the slide show option I find QUITE annoying.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAs if the Incredible didn't have enough problems with the battery issue, I'm having yet another problem: some of my Facebook friends pix don't show up on the "favorites" widget. I've added and removed Facebook for HTC Sense several times, and it syncs a great deal of my friends, but for some reason, it curiously refuses to sync a select handful of people. I have tried to manually link the Friends in question, but when I search for them through the Favorites Widget --> Link Facebook, they don't show up. If I go to the regular FB app, I can see that those Friends are indeed on my Friends on FB. I want all the pix to show up, not just some of them. How do I fix? I'm so tired of this phone's problems.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I have all my music in AAC (m4a) format on my phone with "AlbumArt.jpg" in every folder. I also tried using MP3Tag on a couple, but they still don't show up. (Actually there are *two* albums that have art, and I have no idea what is different about them) I even downloaded Album Art Grabber, but when I boot it, it is just a black screen. If I move my files on to an SD card everything works fine, but I don't have an SD card big enough for all my music. Any ideas?

Not the all of my 400 some odd facebook friends. In the People app, I simply unchecked Facebook from the Menu>View screen to unclutter my contact list.

For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? It works great, with one exception.Whenever I get an incoming call, the phone just shows that I have an incoming call but doesn't show the caller's phone number, or the name if they are one of my contacst. It doesn't matter if the call is coming from a land line, a Verizon mobile phone, or whether or not they are on of my contacts, each time all it shows is incoming call, and nothing esle.I probably have some setting screwed up, but so far I can't find it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere's a few cases on the Verizon website for the incredible that weren't there yesterday when i pre-ordered. a clear snap on hard case, a high gloss silicone case in red or black a body glove case and a shell/holster case. the snap on one and shell one are the only ones "in stock." also have some privacy screen protectors.i think ill wait until i it comes out officially, hopefully there will be more options.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I just did a factory reset and made sure I backed everything up, etc. One of the first things I did was install AppBrain so I could reinstall all of my apps.
When I open AppBrain on my phone, none of my apps show up to install. I keep hitting sync and it doesn't bring up anything. I logged into my AppBrain account on their website and all of my apps show up and next to all of them it says "Cancel install".
Is there any way I can install all of the apps from the website? I would hate to have to download and install each app separately.

One of the widgets I love is the favorites people widget, but I can't stand that it has photo placeholders. Of my 800+ business contacts, none have photos so I'm staring at a page of grey faceless dudes.
