May 14, 2010Is there is a way to take slide show off when I receive a picture message? its annoying I receive one picture go to view it it displays for 5 seconds and then goes back to the text... Is there a way that it doesn't have to be view in slide show mode?

Aug 15, 2010When I had 2.1 on my EVO I would occasionally get single picture MMS that I would receive as a "slide show," however, when I would try to view the picture, it would open up in the slide show mode or about HALF A SECOND then close. VERY ANNOYING. Well, before I could try to fix the annoyance, I dropped my phone, sent it in for repair an 20 days later, got my EVO back. The slide show half-second-opening was FIXED matter of fact I was NOT receiving anything as a slide show at all. THEN, one day, my father (also on Sprint, using a Samsung Rant) sends me a SINGLE picture and it appears as a slide show!! Well, the slide show worked which is well, ok but the slide show option I find QUITE annoying.

Samsung Captivate :: Way To Have Single Folder Show Received Items / Sent Items Combined?
Jul 21, 2010Had no problem getting my phone to play nice with our exchange server at work and emails are coming/going fine.
However, there are some configuration items I have a big issue with as it relates to the 'look' of the email (coming from a BlackBerry).
1. Is there any way to have a single folder show my received items and sent items combined? My BB had this and it was very useful.
2. How can I edit the way my folders are displayed at the top horizontal bar? The sidescrolling folder display is awkward, it puts my inbox first (good) but then all subsequent folders are listed alphabetically; it pays no attention to their order on my desktop and also shows sub-folders of other files. Any way to change this?
3. Is there a way to change the way emails show as unread? The difference b/n read and unread is only a shade of grey, and difficult to see outside.

May 2, 2010Phone will not vibrate when I receive emails, SMS, or gTalk messages if I put it in Vibrate Only mode. Phone calls do vibrate. In settings for each of those apps, I have a check mark in the Vibrate box. My Vibrate mode *used* to work, but when I uninstalled Quick Profiles it seems to have killed vibrations for everything except phone calls.

She has a BlackBerry Tour on Verizon. Today, I got basically the same thing - a message from "CJOHNS235@sprintpcs.com" and the body is "EPPlCARD LLBH alert 521148. call 828-268-**** ". I googled the phone number and apparently it's some guy named Steve in North Carolina. If it was an email I wouldn't be worried, but it came to my phone number. I never give out my cell number for anything.

May 18, 2010I have my phone up in the settings for both email and for text messages to give me a vibrate alert on any text or emails. All I get is the audible ring and no vibration. May 13, 2010Just got my Incredible and love it. I charged it up last night for the second time. Turned it on this morning and all looked good. Received a call this morning and I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. Several more incoming calls and the same issue. Then I made some calls...I could hear the person but they could not hear me. Finally turned phone off and back on and it is now fine. Mute was not on.....anyone know what this could be?

Jul 5, 2010As if the Incredible didn't have enough problems with the battery issue, I'm having yet another problem: some of my Facebook friends pix don't show up on the "favorites" widget. I've added and removed Facebook for HTC Sense several times, and it syncs a great deal of my friends, but for some reason, it curiously refuses to sync a select handful of people. I have tried to manually link the Friends in question, but when I search for them through the Favorites Widget --> Link Facebook, they don't show up. If I go to the regular FB app, I can see that those Friends are indeed on my Friends on FB. I want all the pix to show up, not just some of them. How do I fix? I'm so tired of this phone's problems.

May 4, 2010So I have all my music in AAC (m4a) format on my phone with "AlbumArt.jpg" in every folder. I also tried using MP3Tag on a couple, but they still don't show up. (Actually there are *two* albums that have art, and I have no idea what is different about them) I even downloaded Album Art Grabber, but when I boot it, it is just a black screen. If I move my files on to an SD card everything works fine, but I don't have an SD card big enough for all my music. Any ideas?
