HTC Incredible :: Want All Pix To Show Up

As if the Incredible didn't have enough problems with the battery issue, I'm having yet another problem: some of my Facebook friends pix don't show up on the "favorites" widget. I've added and removed Facebook for HTC Sense several times, and it syncs a great deal of my friends, but for some reason, it curiously refuses to sync a select handful of people. I have tried to manually link the Friends in question, but when I search for them through the Favorites Widget --> Link Facebook, they don't show up. If I go to the regular FB app, I can see that those Friends are indeed on my Friends on FB. I want all the pix to show up, not just some of them. How do I fix? I'm so tired of this phone's problems.

Is there is a way to take slide show off when I receive a picture message? its annoying I receive one picture go to view it it displays for 5 seconds and then goes back to the text... Is there a way that it doesn't have to be view in slide show mode?

So I have all my music in AAC (m4a) format on my phone with "AlbumArt.jpg" in every folder. I also tried using MP3Tag on a couple, but they still don't show up. (Actually there are *two* albums that have art, and I have no idea what is different about them) I even downloaded Album Art Grabber, but when I boot it, it is just a black screen. If I move my files on to an SD card everything works fine, but I don't have an SD card big enough for all my music. Any ideas?

I can't see the titles of videos in the gallery. This makes it hard to find my kids' movies on there when they want to watch something. Is there a way to have the videos listed as a text list in addition to the thumbnail views on the Incredible.

I synced my facebook account in order to have pictures for my contacts. Problem is, there are only about 50 people whose numbers I want in my phone. Not the all of my 400 some odd facebook friends. In the People app, I simply unchecked Facebook from the Menu>View screen to unclutter my contact list.

Did they seriously not include a way to "hide" folders that you don't want showing up in albums? For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? So I can't have something like: Photographs -> Family -> Pets

this kinda sucks unless someone has an answer, Any phone numbers on my last phone that were in my area code, I never had to enter it when putting in the user for the caller id to show up properly so right now I have all my number with a 631 area code not showing up on the caller id as the name because 631 is not in there number on my phone, I am in 631, I shouldn't need to put 631 before every number when I store it for it to show up properly.... in my phone I have a user, we will call her Tara, My phone and hers are 631 area codes so in my phone it says Tara - Mobile - 555-5555 BUT when she calls, her caller id does not show her name,

I can see the songs when I have my phone hooked up to the computer as a hard drive (on the SD card), yet those songs don't show up on the music player.

I recently switched from T-mobile to Verizon, and just picked up my nice shiny new HTC Incredible phone. It works great, with one exception.Whenever I get an incoming call, the phone just shows that I have an incoming call but doesn't show the caller's phone number, or the name if they are one of my contacst. It doesn't matter if the call is coming from a land line, a Verizon mobile phone, or whether or not they are on of my contacts, each time all it shows is incoming call, and nothing esle.I probably have some setting screwed up, but so far I can't find it.

On my Nexus One, when adding contacts in the phone or in Gmail, they would show up on both the phone and Gmail contacts on my PC. With my Incredible, when I add contacts in Gmail, they show up on my phone, but not vice versa. How can I add contacts to my phone so that they will become Gmail contacts?

Probably a dumb question, but is there an app, or even a document that shows all the possible icons that displayed in the notification bar? With so many, it's sometimes difficult to remember what they all are and it would be helpful to have a reference.

There's a few cases on the Verizon website for the incredible that weren't there yesterday when i pre-ordered. a clear snap on hard case, a high gloss silicone case in red or black a body glove case and a shell/holster case. the snap on one and shell one are the only ones "in stock." also have some privacy screen protectors.i think ill wait until i it comes out officially, hopefully there will be more options.

So I just did a factory reset and made sure I backed everything up, etc. One of the first things I did was install AppBrain so I could reinstall all of my apps.
When I open AppBrain on my phone, none of my apps show up to install. I keep hitting sync and it doesn't bring up anything. I logged into my AppBrain account on their website and all of my apps show up and next to all of them it says "Cancel install".
Is there any way I can install all of the apps from the website? I would hate to have to download and install each app separately.

Out of about 900 contacts, only 30 are personal with photos. Is there an app or widget that would allow me to see contacts without a photo placeholder? One of the widgets I love is the favorites people widget, but I can't stand that it has photo placeholders. Of my 800+ business contacts, none have photos so I'm staring at a page of grey faceless dudes.

On the phone it shoes me Holidays with the blue color, and all my other appointments/birthdays with red.
Is there a way to show birthdays in separate color, like orange or yellow? I dont use google contacts birthdays, i just add birthdays into the calendar myself.

Does anyone know why some contact pictures are blurry when they show up on caller i.d. and some aren't? Some of the pictures that are blurry are from facebook and from my pictures album. Although, not all facebook contacts come in blurry. some are perfect? This may sound like a small problem but an annoying one! Does anyone know why are how to fix this?

I had is that the max speed that it gives me to set when I auto detect is 1 Ghz. I want to restore my back up that I made when I flashed the kernel but it doesn't show up in ROM manager. I feel bad being such a noob question and needing a step by step instructions but if anyone can help it would be great. I tried going through command prompt but only got as far as it telling me "a list of devices has been attached", but my device didn't show up.

when I get a voicemail, it till pop up at the bottom of the screen when I go to unlock it, but I'm used to seeing text down there anyways (the slide to unlock bit) so sometimes I don't think twice and just flick it. My voice mail app and my messages app, never show that I have a voice mail. I just noticed one today and I went to listened and I had another unlistened to voice mail from a couple weeks ago.If I get a text message, my messages app shows a little number in a green circle. Why doesn't it show a number if I have a voice mail waiting for me?

I uploaded 100 songs to my SD card from my PC. When I opened the music player app in the phone, it shows all 100 songs. So I opened up the songs list, picked a song and it played just fine. After the song I hit the forward button to play the next song (next song of the 100 that I had on there) and it played the same song again. So upon looking at the music player it now showed "1/1" at the top, instead of "1/100". It's like it's locked on that 1 song. If I go into the menu I can see all my songs, and I can choose/play them individually, but I can't have all 100 songs chosen, so that they'll just play one after the other. How do I make the music player show all 100 songs again? I just want to open up the music player, hit play, and sit back & enjoy the next 100 songs playing one after the other. I don't want to have to select each one individually to play. (Hopefully this wasn't too confusing).

Do I really need to change all my phone numbers to have area codes in them? When people call, for example, it shows 619-423-5666 instead of "Work" which is saved as 423-5666. Do I really have to change every one of them and start saving numbers w/ zip code?

After going out of town this weekend where my Incredible switched my "current location" to where I was, upon returning home the Incredible still shows that I'm in the other location. I've tried updating and such. I've even tried rearranging the areas (towns/cities). I've tried to delete the towns/cities. It still says I'm in the other city and nothing changes in the "first place/home screen" after rearranging/deleting.

I have all of my contacts stored as (xxx) xxx-xxxx. When I am within my own area code, I have always only dialed the last seven digits (no area code). When I do this, my Incredible doesn't recognize it as a stored contact.
I've tried storing it in different ways, xxx-xxx-xxxx, xxxxxxxxx, etc, but I do not seem to be able to make it hapen.
From what I've read, one solution is to dial the area code everytime, but who wants to do that in a local setting? Very annoying every smartphone I've ever had prior to this was able to interpret the last seven as the contact when the phone is in the default area code (and yes, mine is set to my area code).
