Jul 29, 2010I noticed earlier that my Home, Menu, Back, and Search buttons decided to start lighting up randomly. It did this on and off for a few minutes. Anyone else seen this happen to their Incredible? Do you think it's an application? Because there were no actual notifications or alerts at the time. This isn't the first time I've seen this happen either. . .

May 27, 2010all four of the buttons on the phone turned on out of no where this morning. i have it on my desk at work and it caught my eye as soon as they turned on. phone was sleeping. turned it on, no new messages, emails, calls, etc. any idea why they would randomly illuminate?

May 8, 2010This seems to be an issue that I may have just noticed. Sometimes when I turn on my phone the touch sensitive buttons do not light up. They may eventually light up but it would take a while. Also sometimes they light up immediately with no problem. Is anyone else having this same issue?

Aug 1, 2010i tried searching online and in the forum for this before posting. Anyways, I live right outside of the DC area and have full 4g coverage. Recently, when i turn 4g on it says that I have full 4g signal for about 30 seconds...then the 4g mode will shutoff then go back to normal 3g ...any ideas why this is happening anyone i haven't rooted my phone or don't anything special besides install normal applications!

Dec 25, 2012I just got a samsung galaxy proclaim. All i want is an app that can make the 4 soft touch buttons on the bottom of the phone be light up whenever the screen is lit up. The phone is for my dad, who cant see the best, and he can never see the buttons when they are not lit. I am very tech inclined and have rooted my thunderbolt and modded the hell out of it and flashed roms all the time last year. I really can not find anything out there app wise, and there is not other option other than holding your finger over the light sensor on the front of the phone.
The phone is not rooted, but i could root it if that is necessary. would rather not as i see it presenting new possibilities for problems for a VERY beginner user just learning what texting means.
HTC Incredible :: Handcent SMS - LED Light Flash / Vibrate Mode
May 16, 2010I used this app on my original Motorola Droid and loved it, but I have noticed some problems with it on the Incredible. I'm wondering if it's just me or if anyone else has had these problems as well.
1. LED Light does not change color. No matter what color I set the LED light to in the Handcent app, it always just blinks green. This isn't necessarily a huge deal, but I liked having my text messages blink a different color than my emails and other notifications.
2. LED light does not always blink and screen does not turn on. I noticed that the LED light only flashes once in a while, no matter what type of blink setting I choose. Also, the screen does not turn on when I get a text even though I have the box checked that is supposed to enable the screen to turn on despite having the popup box disabled. Once again, not a huge deal, but it would be nice if these things worked since I got used to these features on the Droid.
3. Phone does not vibrate at all when in Vibrate mode. Ok, this one is a huge deal. No matter which vibrate settings I choose, the phone will not vibrate when I receive a text if the phone is in vibrate mode. I am missing tons of texts now because I need to have my phone silent for most of the day. I checked the recent reviews of the app and didn't see anyone complain about this, so I don't know if there is just something wrong with my phone or if the app just isn't very compatible with the Incredible.
HTC EVO 4G :: Hot Battery In Stand-by Mode / What To Do?
Jun 7, 2010Had my Evo in Stand-by mode. It turned itself on (unknowingly to me) and my battery became extremely hot. Had to remove battery. Thought it was going to burst in flames. Waited awhile, replaced battery and so far no problem. What should I do?

HTC Eris :: Phone Randomly Either Not Waking Up From Sleep Mode / Just Powering Down?
Nov 29, 2010I can't be 100% sure which one it is. But I installed Nonsensikal 13.2 about a week ago, love it, and was about to basically settle on this as my default rom until Saturday. Starting Saturday my phone has become non-responsive about 5-6 times. Meanin the lock screen won't come on, and the power button will not turn the phone on or off.I'm assuming this means that the phone is still on when this happens, because if it had just powered down randomly I'd think the power button would turn the phone back on I have to pull the battery out and power it back on to start working again. I don't have setcpu or autokiller running, but I am running juicedefender (in case any of that is helpful for anybody.)

Sep 5, 2010When I try to adjust the volume (ringer/media/navigation) I press the button and sometimes it's okay but mostly nothing will happen for up to 5 seconds and then all of the sudden it'll catch up and shoot right to the end. If I press it repeatedly instead of holding on, it normally takes a few presses before the first adjustment then it'll work pretty much okay but it might do a few moves then stop again randomly. The most annoying time is when I'm on the phone and I can't hear what's being said! I do not want to install a volume control app.

HTC Incredible :: Phone Restarting Randomly?
Aug 26, 2010I know there are other threads but this is strange since my phone never ever did this. All of a sudden the last two days my phone has been restarting randomly, mostly like two minutes into using the phone. It doesn't though go to the HTC Incredible screen but rather the HTC Quietly Brilliant, quickly to Verizon Wireless screen and into the OS. I see the CPU doing heavy duty work using all but 100% yet I checked System Panel and I don't see anything using that much usage. Again this has just started the last two days or so. Never before have I had this problem. Anyone else just in the last few days?

Aug 3, 2010my incredible reboots randomly, first noticed one while on a phone call with my dad. It was over bluetooth in car with navigation & gps on. It rebooted mid conversation. I was on 95 in baltimore with 4 bars and 3g. Everything since has been while listening to slacker. Either while phone is sitting there or while surffing the web. Once was while listening in the car in philadelphia on 95 no navigation (always 2-3 bars and 3g) and it didn't start crashing until about two weeks ago. Every crash has been while plugged into a charger also. I haven't noticed any crashes off charger.

Sep 16, 2010I'm not sure if this is worth complaining about but is anybody else experiencing their phone waking up on its own while it's connected to the charger? I'm not sure when it started exactly but I'm sure it was after I updated to OTA 2.2.It's not hot or does anything else just that the screen turns on, stays on for like 2 seconds, and than the screen turns off. It seems to occur randomly. Is anybody else having this issue?

Oct 13, 2010Is anybody else losing their 3G connection on the DINC? My phone has recently started to randomly drop 3G so that I am unable to surf the web, receive emails etc. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I live in South Florida where 3G has always been fine. I would greatly appreciate anybody's input. Rebooting the phone helps for a while.
