Does anyone know why some contact pictures are blurry when they show up on caller i.d. and some aren't? Some of the pictures that are blurry are from facebook and from my pictures album. Although, not all facebook contacts come in blurry. some are perfect? This may sound like a small problem but an annoying one! Does anyone know why are how to fix this?

Does the synced Facebook contact pictures still show up blurry, or are the crisp like in 1.5? I haven't seen a thread about this so I thought I would ask.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have read a few threads, but they aren't saying the evo4g is having this problem. but mine is. i imported my contacts from my outlook and all the images are coming up blurry when i receive calls and make them. also, a lot of the images on my contacts aren't even showing up on the phone, but i see them in the outlook actually it looks like the Vermeer images i was using when i had my iphone aren't loading, but regular images are. anyways, for the regular images from the outlook sync to the phone, is there a way to get them clearer?

View 25 Replies View RelatedRecently I have noticed my contact pictures in my people widget and when someone calls me are rather blurry and out of focus, they weren't like this, just happened recently, I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem and no how to correct it, without a hard reset. Have turned phone on and off, removed widget and put it back, looked in settings for some settings for pictures, nada, that I can find.

In 1.6 it used to be blurry too unless you added them via mediascape. Tried it all again on 2.1 and still blurry. Otehrwise the updates quite good except theres no FLASH!

I enjoyed the Facebook syncing on 1.5, but I don't really have any interest in bringing over my Facebook contact photos as caller ID pictures (it's annoying when someone posts a picture of a car, for example, as their default picture -- my friend is not a Toyota). I do like seeing status updates in my People app and having access to a unified "updates" panel in People.
I've gone into the "link" settings and changed the photo manually to the Google Contacts photo that I specified, and that works fantastically -- until Facebook for HTC Sense does its hourly sync and overwrites that preference with the contact's default Facebook picture AGAIN.
I've tried syncing, un-syncing, removing the sync option, etc. in the past 2 leaks and this problem remains. Am I missing something or is this just another annoying beta bug that HOPEFULLY will be gone in OTA?
Anyone else have this issue or know a fix? Contact pictures show in contact details and in the contacts app, but not in the dial or when I get a call. Contact management is the only thing I don't like about my X.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently received my Incredible (FINALLY!). I synced my contacts from my old phone (Omnia i910) with google so I could download them onto the Inc. When I did, I also synced up some contacts with Facebook. But, it looks like several of the contact pics are blurry / pixelated. Some of them are the Facebook ones, while others are the Google synced ones. Anyone know how to fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed Handcent on my Droid and am having two problems. I checked the settings and can't figure out why these things aren't working properly.
1. The pictures from my contact list do not show up next to the texts. Every one of my contacts has a silhouette and question mark in place of the picture - which shows up fine in the default messaging app.
2. When a new text comes in, the new text notification pops up on the taskbar. I do not receive a handcent notification icon, and if I open the text with Handcent, the default message notification does not disappear.
Can't remember if this was working before I had to do the factory reset on my Epic, but I think it was. I have my Facebook account synced and it shows the pictures under my call log, contacts, dialer, but does not show the contact pictures in my text messages? Anyone know how to fix this, it really annoys me seeing a bunch of empty picture slots when looking at my text message list.

All my pictures are from Facebook so if everything works right the pictures I see in gvoice should be the same as the profile pix in FB.
Why is it that contact pictures are blurry on the evo? If someone in my contacts calls their picture shows up (taken from the evo camera mind you) very blurry and pixelated... Ive also noticed that pictures in the internet browser are super compressed...

View 11 Replies View RelatedJust bought a Galaxy S3 from Cricket Wireless and everything works perfectly fine but when I go to use the camera the pictures are blurry and when I take a picture of a object that close like 3-4 inch away the picture is clear but if I want to take a picture of something else like a potrait or somthing mid range to far the picture is blurry like it doesn't want to focus. I tap the screen to try and focuses it and nothing happens.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a fix for getting pictures to load faster? right now they load right up blurry and then take 5 seconds to correct. it does this in the gallery as well as on the internet. except the ones on the internet take much longer to correct, like 30 seconds or more. I.E. facebook pictures is where i notice it the most. i'd rather them load faster and not be 100.9999% perfect....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had nothing but great success with the leaked Froyo that I've been running since Saturday afternoon. Battery life seems to be improved, haven't noticed any FC's, etc... until today. I know that the Droid has had some camera issues namely the 24.5 auto focus bug and the auto focus hardware becomes faulty but this is new to me. I didn't have this problem with 2.0.1, stock 2.1, rooted 2.1, Pete's BB, Fab's NexBeast. There have been numerous kernels on the phone as well and going back through my gallery nothing was blurry. I have wiped the lens, made sure the camera app is on auto-focus, I've clicked the button once, twice, halfway, a dozen times, etc and I've even tried FXCamera - if the subject is more than 6" away it is blurry. I'm running the 1.0 P3 kernel but 1.1 & 1.2 have given me the same issue. I've tried this at 1Ghz, 800, 600 & 400Mhz. I know this is pre-release but is anyone else having the same issue?

Videos are VERY GRAINY, Pictures are blurry, I have tried every setting possible, I am on 8MP for camera and 720p for hd. Any chance there is a way to fix it? I have seen other peoples video and they are MUCH better than mines. And people said the Droid 1 camera was bad (which I had) this is awful.

If not, does anyone know where the folder is located that saves those thumbnails so i can just copy it to my computer?

I'm loving my phone, and I love how it pulls photos and contacts from Facebook, Gmail, etc.However, A lot of my friends are already changing their pictures, and the phone isn't updating them on my favorites, or in my actual phonebook/contact list. I know how to manually set the picture, but I want it to re-pull new photos from Facebook. Any ideas?

They are still associated with their Facebook accounts, but they just don't have pictures. All phone numbers and things are still there. I also get a proces.google.gapps force close sometimes. What exactly happened, and how can I fix it?
