Seems like fedex is not updating their tracking anymore on 2nd day deliveries. My package seems like it's being walked up from LA to Seattle. I'm glad companies can go green but this is ridiculous.

I know it has been posted on here before...but I couldn't find it and I am not sure if it's the same page the other person posted but here is a link to life tracking of different cargo planes (leaving Memphis and other destinations) on the left search for FDX which is fed ex.it shows all locations....for Memphis...I would say go to the top left and do a live tracking and look for FDX going out to wherever your destination is.
Is anyone here having their Incredible shipped to a FedEx Hold-At center (e.g. FedEx Office Center)? I'm at work all day so I won't be home to sign for the package, and the pick-up center isn't close to my house. But there is a FedEx Hold-At center very close to my work. I could easily pick it up there during the work day. Just curious if anyone else is doing this, or if it's even allowed (due to possible billing address issue)? I called CSR and they said I can't do it, but she didn't sound very confident about that.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone was shipped out yesterday morning and is set to be delivered tomorrow sometime. but right now its in oakland, about 35-40 minutes from my house, taunting me. im really thinking about picking it up myself, but i cant figure out how to find which office its in or where the office is located. a quick google search for fedex office in oakland only brought up the fedex print & ship centers, and a few that just say fedex and one fedex express. anyone know what office it might be at?

My internet order # is 52001xxxx and it says "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days." for order status, but Verizon can not tell if it has shipped yet and do not have a tracking number yet. I have called several times yesterday and today and have heard it should be here Wend, then it should be here Thursday and maybe it might be here Friday. nobody really know when the heck I'll receive it.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI ordered my Incredible today, online and received my shipment notice within an hour. I noticed on the shipment notification that FedEx requires a signature upon delivery. I'm not too familiar with FedEx so i was wondering if anyone has had experience with this. I will not be home so i was wondering if i can leave a note for the FedEx person to leave the package on my doorstep or if they'll leave a note saying they were there and will try again the next day. (Like UPS) Another day won't kill me, but i'd like to charge it and play with it tomorrow when i WILL be home.

But would be really great to have a simple database app to work with this where i could scan the barcode before I drop the package in the drop box and store it with some notes so i can look it up from my phone at any time.

It's my very first smartphone, i'm coming from an Env2 and got the Eris for $49.99 under the NE2 plan. Any tips for when I first get it? As soon as I open it? View 24 Replies View RelatedI had a rooted Incredible using this method before however I had a problem with the on screen keyboard so I got a replacement. The replacement just came yesterday. Now I am rooting the replacement and the Unrevoked 3 program gets stuck at "Waiting for root... (Safe to restart if this doesn't work)"
I have the HBOOT drivers installed and my phone comes up in device manager as "Android Composite ADB Interface"
Did they apply a new update to the phone that prevents rooting? If so how long before I can get around it?
I rooted a few days ago and did the forever S-off. I have ROM Manager loaded and was poking around in the system. I downloaded Skyraider and ROM Manager asked me to reboot. Not thinking it wouldn't let me know what it was doing when in recovery before doing something the rom had been applied. Now the Phone has for 40+ minutes been at the "HTC Incredible" boot screen.
I have read not to pull the battery but The power Button and Volume button do nothing so I could really use some suggestions. As a little more info I have not flashed the radio yet so it was a 1.x radio that a 2.2 rom was just seemingly applied to.
Bricked or recoverable? I have a Nandroid backup if someone can help me get back to that point...
I've had the phone since launch day with no problems. No suddenly, it's being weird. Yesterday I kept trying to answer a call and the other line would be dead. Then when I would try to cal the person back, there was a horrible high pitch buzzing noise in the speaker. So I did a battery pull and that seemed to fix it.
Now today, I turned the phone on and it' stuck on the initial "HTC Incredible" screen. It won't get past the screen. Has this happened to anyone?
The phone is not rooted.
I rooted my Inc with the Evo tool, and installed a ROM through ROM manager, after deciding that I did not want to keep the ROM, I tried to restore back to the stock rooted ROM I had before through the clockworkmod/nandroid options. Now the phone is stuck at the white screen that reads, "htc incredible" and none of the buttons will cause anything to happen. I was debating on doing a battery pull and restarting, but I believe I read somewhere that doing so would brick the phone.
Update: Did a battery pull and was able to boot into the HBOOT and run the nandroid recovery again, I am trying it now to see if I can get back to the original ROM.

After rerestoring the phone, the boot animation runs all the way through and the phone starts back up.
Every time I go to download an app it hangs on Starting Download... I'm running stock froyo, rooted.
View 2 Replies View Relatedhow to root my phone but i had just installed the AIM app and got an instant message so i swipped down to unlock the screen and kept getting these error messages that all apps were force close and space full on both phone and SD card (i had previously gotten space full on the phone but i must have uninstalled about 8 sound board apps and the message stayed) then the phone went very slowly and the force close messages would not stop so i guess i did the stupid thing and held the power button and found it odd that the only option was power off so i shut it down and attempted to turn it back on and it showed the white screen with the HTC incredible and then the HTC brilliant and then the Verizon tsunami screen or splash or whatever it is but it kept repeating that cycle over and over again (note this was not from an attempted root) i can put it into recovery mode and i was wondering what i can do from the recovery screen and if i can root it from the recovery screen. I'm sorry but i have no idea on how to root but if someone could help it would be much appreciated. and thank you for reading my long winded post but i wanted to be as detailed as possible.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, while scanning the forums. I had my Incredible charging off the AC adapter. and in airplane mode for shits and giggles. After doing some research on the ATK killers. I decided to uninstall mine and just allow the phone to manage itself. After the phone was finished with the uninstall I gave it a quick reboot just to allow the core apps to come back up. and upon doing so, I found myself in an endless reboot cycle. I would get the HTC " quietly brilliant " screen, followed by two verizon wireless screens and then loop back to the HTC screen. I let it loop about 10 times before pulling the battey to stop it.
It's rather odd. After pulling the battery and disconnecting it from the charger, I let it sit for a few minutes, replaced the battery and attempted the restart again. Once again I found myself in the same loop. After 5-6 loops i was finally brought to the OS and everything loaded as normal. Anyone have opinions on what may have caused this?
1. Uninstall of ATK
2. Rebooting while on charge
3. Airplane mode + charge + reset=boom
4. Because I touch myself at night
I have a rooted incredible with the hydra kernel. i had the 1.13 and went to the 1.15 over clock kernel and my pone went into a reboot cycle and wouldnt start up. i was told to go to the format boot in the clockwork recovery so i did. now the phone will only start up in the bootloader screen it does the sd card check. any ideas? they are sending me a new phone but i really dont want to re set up the phone.
View 17 Replies View RelatedSometimes with the browser getting stuck? The progress bar will load to like 90% and just stop. Happens on every page I visit. The only way to get it to work again is to reboot the Inc. The problem occurs intermittently.
I've already done a hard reset after the OTA update and this still happens. I'm using the stock browser.
I just tried to install frankenrom b5 through CWM. It said it loaded fine but I can't exit out of CWM. It kept going from back menu enabled to back menu disabled but the menu never came up. I do know that it is not visible unless I scroll down extra far but no matter what it will not show up. Any help?

I turned off the phone and back on. Still showed "Installing" I went to sleep figuring it has to finish by the time I wake up.I tried uninstalling Twitter with AppBrain. Still shows "Installing" Rebooted my phone again.

When I get to the ClockworkMod Recovery screen, it won't select anything. I can move up and down but when I select it with the power button, it just goes to a blank screen....like your locking the screen. When you hit the power button again, the menu comes back.
View 8 Replies View RelatedGot the WSOD on a non-rooted, stock 2.2 incredible last night. Pulling the battery is the only way to turn it off. Recovery and Factory Reset from hboot manager hang at the htc white screen. Clear Storage also goes straight to the white screen. If turned off it'll charge. SD card is not corrupted. Phone was in close proximity to an iphone 3g for maybe an hour. (We'd been comparing the screens then the iphone was placed on top of the incredible while we ate dinner.) Noticed that phone was at the white screen. Battery was not warm. No signs of external damage. Either this is totally random, or the RF from the iphone managed to fry something.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIn a nutshell I did a factory reset and wiped cache on a rooted incredible and am now stuck at that "Touch android to begin" tutorial screen. I was running stock recovery before all of this mess because I was going to upgrade to 2.2.
When I touch the android guy as opposed to going onto the regular setup it will go to the dialer except there's a grayed out "call ended" button. You can access the dialer but there's no cell connection so its useless. There's no way to escape this setup and get to anything resembling a home screen. Nothing will mount to my PC either, although its recognized as "android bootloader interface". I've been searching around the forums and it doesn't seem to be bricked as I can enter the stock recovery. I even tried to upgrade to 2.2 but I get that "status 7" error and it aborts.
I had done titanium and nandroid backups before I attempted anything but I'm on stock recovery so its not like I can restore.
My dinc just automatically rebooted and got stuck in the initial white droid incredible screen (before the green htc logo)....vibrate...black...white droid incredible screen. happened for first time two nights ago...finally got it out of this and wiped phone to factory. just today happened again. i was able to uninstal it in between the 5 minutes of working phone i had (kept going into reboot cycle....and as soon as i uninstalled it..this nonesense stopped!

I was using the phone today and it just froze so I rebooted and it stayed on the splash screen so I rebooted to hboot and then went to recovery which wont open it just goes to splash screen. So I did the downgrade back to 1.00 radio and .77 HBOOT to try and start over and it still gets stuck on the flash screen. Please someone what do I do?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have clockwork recovery installed, and was running running Ruby 1.1.1 when I started having some SD card troubles. The card was getting write protected so I couldn't delete anything off of it through a file explorer on the phone, or with either of my microSD adapters. I was rebooting the phone with no card in there today and it just hung on the white HTC Incredible boot screen.
I tried going into clockwork and wiping everything and reinstalling Cyanogenmod 6, but now it just gets stuck on the cyanogenmod load screen.
Clockwork is throwing out a lot of errors about E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (file exists) and CACHE:recovery/command.
I am following the instructions on the stick from the complete root guide... and i get the the unrevoked flash part and it keeps on getting stuck on flashing recovry image do not touch phone and it just stays there... im not sure whats going on been tryin for a long time now...
