Apr 28, 2010I ordered on Monday night, and my order was processed on Tuesday morning, however I still have not received a shipping notification. Should I worry?

HTC Incredible :: Shipping To FedEx Hold At Facility?
Apr 22, 2010Is anyone here having their Incredible shipped to a FedEx Hold-At center (e.g. FedEx Office Center)? I'm at work all day so I won't be home to sign for the package, and the pick-up center isn't close to my house. But there is a FedEx Hold-At center very close to my work. I could easily pick it up there during the work day. Just curious if anyone else is doing this, or if it's even allowed (due to possible billing address issue)? I called CSR and they said I can't do it, but she didn't sound very confident about that.

But would be really great to have a simple database app to work with this where i could scan the barcode before I drop the package in the drop box and store it with some notes so i can look it up from my phone at any time.

Jun 17, 2009I'm developing in eclipse. I use the Android tools export facility to export a signed .apk file for distribution.
I want to run this either on my G1 or the emulator without eclipse being involved. I've already messed up a couple of times and accidentally tested my source code rather than the .apk file and am trying to avoid this.
On a related note, the export signed .apk facility seems to grab "stale" stuff sometimes. How do I do a "clean release build" to make sure I get the latest code in my release?
HTC Incredible :: Notification Screen Doesn't Hide When Selecting A Notification Event
Sep 14, 2010So when I get texts, gmail, completed app downloads, etc I get notification icons at the top as usual. When I slide the notification bar down to reveal the nofications and click on an item, the notification screen doesn't hide back to the top of my phone -- it just stays open. I either have to hide it manually or I have to hit the back button, which sometimes exits the app I was trying to open. 2.1 never did this for me, it always hid when choosing an item. Anyone have a solution to this? I've done a factory reset after 2.2 btw. I've also searched support to see if there was a similar problem, no similar threads.

Jun 30, 2010I've factory reset my phone 3 times today for data problems and push email issues. Since the last time, I have a voicemail icon in my notification bar, clicking on it tells me to call my GV number to hear 3 messages. I cleared the messages in the GV app,but the notification wont go away. It has no Clear button to dismiss. I've rebooted the phone, tried calling the number, but have not yet tried throwing it against the wall. That's next. Any ideas to help calm my OCD by dismissing this notification are appreciated.Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk

Jul 27, 2010I placed my order for a Droid X for me and my wife on Friday at 6pm and I got notification that I will receive them both TODAY.I am pretty excited to get rid of my iPhone 3G and her to get rid of the dreaded Sidekick. I think she might be the last person on Earth with a Sidekick. But this will be our first Android phones and I am sure there will be a learning curve but I am a pretty big computer geek so it should be fun. I am sure I will be asking plenty of questions as well.

Jul 3, 2010I just can't help but wonder if the Droid X is going to be released with 2.1 deliberately. I mean, of course its deliberate but I believe it can be considered a Vanilla class device, so it kinda makes sense. Look at it like just another way to beat out the iPhone 4, since there will undoubtedly be a root for the X within days. The fact that it has 2.1 upon shipping makes it that much easier I would think. I know it has some degree of Moto's custom tweaks but there should be much demand to root this phone I would think. Then again maybe for most people the addition of wifi tethering the legit way on 2.2 would deter people especially since its clocked at 1ghz.

Personally I am not really sure that I need one, but at the same time, a little extra juice is always a welcomed option for a smartphone especially when you are a heavy user.That said, it seems that Seidio has two options available, a 1750mAh and a 3500mAh which are selling for $49.95 and $69.95 respectively.The main difference here, aside from the 3500 offering more juice (and being more expensive) is that the 1750 model was designed to fit with the original battery cover. And that means no extra thickness. The 3500mAh battery on the other hand will add some extra thickness, though its said to only be 3-4mm. The nice part here is that this battery does come with the replacement back cover.

I am coming from Sense with LP.
I just noticed I am not getting any LED Notification for anything.
Gmail = None
Gtalk = None
SMS = None
Chargeing = yes (orange/green)
This is kind of driving me crazy because i just got everything back the way I liek it. I really don't want to reflash back to Sense.
I have checked the "keep tackball pulse" option in settings, but still nothing. Am I missing some setting option?

My ringer for my phone works and I made sure the notification, ringer and media volumes are all set to high. The speaker is working because when I hit the volume rocker it makes a beep. Sep 2, 2010I got impatient for 2.2 to roll out and i decided to give the leaked rom a shot and in the process i couldnt get any farther then updating the radio to 2x everything else would get errors unrevoked 3 woudnt work it wouldnt even notice my phone was there i updated driver etc but thats not my question how do i downgrade the radio i cant figure it out its not rooted its S-on everything is stock but the radio and vzw tech said ill never recieve update because of this and i tried doing the manuel update with failure it just aborted.
