The sync notification is showing on my notification bar at the top of my screen and it won't go away. It just stays there. I have tried to clear it but nothing works. I've done 2 hard resets and it still showing up. How do I get rid of it. I've never had this issue before. Someone please help me with this.

So when I get texts, gmail, completed app downloads, etc I get notification icons at the top as usual. When I slide the notification bar down to reveal the nofications and click on an item, the notification screen doesn't hide back to the top of my phone -- it just stays open. I either have to hide it manually or I have to hit the back button, which sometimes exits the app I was trying to open. 2.1 never did this for me, it always hid when choosing an item. Anyone have a solution to this? I've done a factory reset after 2.2 btw. I've also searched support to see if there was a similar problem, no similar threads.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've factory reset my phone 3 times today for data problems and push email issues. Since the last time, I have a voicemail icon in my notification bar, clicking on it tells me to call my GV number to hear 3 messages. I cleared the messages in the GV app,but the notification wont go away. It has no Clear button to dismiss. I've rebooted the phone, tried calling the number, but have not yet tried throwing it against the wall. That's next. Any ideas to help calm my OCD by dismissing this notification are appreciated.Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk

I am at work and only sync with my home PC. I don't need to be reminded to do that. Is there any way to permanently not get that notification yet not remove the HTC sync app?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm really frustrated with this. If I adjust the ringer volume with the volume rockers on the side of the phone, it only applies to phone calls. Notification volume requires going into settings and adjusting by itself. Is there an app that forces all volumes to sync with the ringer volume?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my HTC Hero a couple of days ago and I can't help but getting a bit annoyed by the fact that whenever I receive a message my phone gives off the double vibrate buzz, followed by most often just a second of silence before the message sound 'pling' goes off. The pause between the vibration buzz seems a bit random and I have experienced it pausing for up to like 10 seconds before a sound plays. I cannot see that this is supposed to happen.What's wrong?My phone has build version 2.73.405.6 (which confuses me a bit since HTC webpages says that the newest build version is 2.73.405.5).

I just heard on a podcast that this was announced last year and I didn't even realize it was supposed to work. I have a Nexus 5 and 7 and the google calendar notifications always need to be dismissed on each device, they never sync the dismissals.
Same google and calendar accounts, using fruux. what gives?
I have a task killer and I assume it's killing a process that syncs for new emails [I've set it to auto update every 30 min] and even when I open the app it does not refresh till I manually press refresh. Which process exactly should I put on the ignore list so it will not kill it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my original gmail account "slaved" to my google apps account, so when I log in to user@gmail.com it displays my google apps user@domain.com as being logged in. For most things this is great, but now with the android phone there are some gotchya's First was the Market. I had to create yet another gmail account to buy anything off the market, because when I sign in to my 'gmail' account on my phone it signs me in as an apps user.
Second, is my google voice (attached to gmail) has its own set of contacts associated with my gmail account, and they are not synced with my google apps account. I was hoping the phone would sort of mesh them together, however I'm not seeing that. On my iPhone I was using soocial, however they recently stopped allowing unlimited contacts and their new free limit is below my number of contacts. Is there a way for the phone to keep these to contact lists "connected" and synced together?
I bought the Incredible. I love it so far. (I could do a very large review on it vs. an iphone 3g.However, I have found that my corporate email calendar is not syncing correctly. I am missing events! I have reinstalled the active sync account 3 times now and each time it resyncs different calendar items.I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I am just doing something wrong.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI came to the Incredible from a Blackberry, and to sync my Google Calendar/work Outlook Calendar/Blackberry Calendar required me to export my Outlook Calendar as a .CSV, delete my Google Calendar, import the .CSV to Google, delete the Blackberry Calendar, and then run Google Sync.On the Incredible, I could not find how to delete the cached calendar until this morning. Just go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Calendar Storage, then click Clear data. Then back out to Settings, select Accounts & sync, then click Sync all.Befor someone suggusts that I can just use the HTC Sync to cut the steps down, I cannot connect the Incredible to my work PC, and even if I could, I cannot run any "unapproved" software, and work won't approve of HTC Sync since they dont see a "business purpose" to it.

Gmail = None
Gtalk = None
SMS = None
Chargeing = yes (orange/green)
This is kind of driving me crazy because i just got everything back the way I liek it. I really don't want to reflash back to Sense.
I have checked the "keep tackball pulse" option in settings, but still nothing. Am I missing some setting option?
Is there any way to make the LED not blink (ie just stay on)? I know Ruby does it, but is there any way to do it with one of the sense based roms?

My ringer for my phone works and I made sure the notification, ringer and media volumes are all set to high. The speaker is working because when I hit the volume rocker it makes a beep. I feel silly asking for this but it just stopped ringing and I don't know how to get it back.

View 26 Replies View RelatedI got impatient for 2.2 to roll out and i decided to give the leaked rom a shot and in the process i couldnt get any farther then updating the radio to 2x everything else would get errors unrevoked 3 woudnt work it wouldnt even notice my phone was there i updated driver etc but thats not my question how do i downgrade the radio i cant figure it out its not rooted its S-on everything is stock but the radio and vzw tech said ill never recieve update because of this and i tried doing the manuel update with failure it just aborted.
