View 2 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to create folders and put apps in those folders on an Incredible?
I'm an android newbie, and I would like to create some folders-games, weather, maps, etc. and put corresponding apps in those folders. I would like to place those folders on my homescreen.
Is this possible and if it is, which app would I need to do that. I've had my DInc since they came out and it's totally stock. I haven't gotten the froyo update yet.
How do I arrange the order of my screens... I want to switch them around so my home screen is different.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCan we organize all of our apps into folders in the app tray? I know that you can do it and have them displayed on the home page, but I want to do it on the app tray itself. Can I put all my shopping apps together, my sports apps together, etc.? I don't want to change the home pages, just the app tray.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSome background info: I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, so no SD-Card. Rooted, running Paranormal Android.
So what started bugging me lately is the fact that android just places folders created by apps in my main storage, which ironically is called /sdcard/.
Is there a way to create a folder, for instance: ProgramFiles, and make android place all folders made by apps in that folder? That way only my Music, Movies folder etc would stay in the main storage.
Im looking for an app which would show some popup window containing apps/folders which I've selected.
The idea is that I could quickly access my most-used apps, and maybe folders, without flicking through many home screens.
Im using the stock A2.1 launcher (on SE x10mp).
I have just got my HTC Desire and was wondering can you arrange the icons in the main menu (the big list)? Some i will never use and would be better at the bottom.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm using textview objects to hold labels such as Score, Level etc on my game screen but they don't seem to be displayed where I want them to be. I understand about view hierarchies (parents, children) and am using the gravity tags in the XML layout file but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Could someone just quickly provide a guide to positioning a textview object on the screen, and also linking it in the code so that its contents can be pro grammatically controlled (I believe this would by done via =(TextView) findViewById(r.id.resourcename))? Code...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm kinda new to android, and not sure if this is a handset or os thing but, when you swipe up from the bottom of the x10 screen to display all your apps, is there a way to sort the apps into folders. i.e. move all games into a games folder, put all work apps into a work folder, etc. like i said not sure if this is an os thing or if i could download an app to do it, i have done a little searching online but didn't come up with any answers.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI don't mean folders on the home screen, look at the attached imaged if you don't understand. I want to know if it's possible to organize those instead of having to go through multiple pages.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFellas, I've got another question about my X10 Mini.I've been downloading many apps from Android Market and there are so many good ones, but also some others pretty awful. The thing is that unninstalling some apps from the phone leaves me gaps in the menu.I've got pages of the downer menu with only six icons, when the space allows 9. How can i re-arrange the icons to put them in order? Is there an option in the phone as it comes, or do I have to download an app from the market?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to create folders inside Applications menu? I know how to create folders on the desktop but not inside, does anyone know how to do that?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince other camera apps use other folders to save the pictures in them, how can I add those folders to also sync to Google+? Do I need to change the folders these apps save too?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to password protect my folders and apps? Even my photos gallery?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone know if there is an app (or PC program) that will scan the SD card and determine what folders are no longer needed that are left over from uninstalled apps? I have installed/uninstalled tons of apps and I still see folders on the SD card from apps I know that I no longer have. I have deleted the ones I know are safe to remove but there are some with names that are a little less descriptive of what they were for. I know I could just google each folder name and probably figure each one out individually but I thought there might be an app for it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI usually view email with attachments from my pc because I usually lack the time to download the attachment. Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. Aside from pics and videos, how do I access other folders with saved data?
View 6 Replies View RelatedOn the inc when you go to add icons you can add folders. I started a new folder and put some of the inactive games I'm really not playing at the moment. Currently I see no way to rename the folder... Anyone know how to rename folders?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am new and this may be a stupid question. I cannot find files and folders on my Incredible. If I download an attachment I have no idea where it goes. I can't "see" the Droid on my computer when synced so do not know how to find the pictures to transfer to computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo is there still no way to do folders in all programs? Right now I'm using ShadowRom (love it) with LauncherPro and Folder Organizer as a solution but it's a wee bit laggy. I have like 50 game apps and I put them into a Games folder on my homescreen and then used LauncherPro to hide the games in the All Programs Menu to get rid of some of the clutter.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the stock email application on my Inc. Is there a way to create additional folders? I would like to create a 'saved' folder to keep certain emails in. I can't seem to find a way to do this. I'm wondering if any of the other email apps (K9) can do this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf you are still using the Sense UI, is there a way to change the icons on Folders? For example I want to have a folder with a bunch of direct dials in it and would like an appropriate picture for it, like a little telephone or something.
View 5 Replies View RelatedDid they seriously not include a way to "hide" folders that you don't want showing up in albums? For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? So I can't have something like: Photographs -> Family -> Pets
