Does anyone know how to get the texts for events to appear in the Calendar week view? It has a picture of it in the manual but nothing about how to do it. My Incred currently just shoes the color of the event (red for business etc) and I want to see what the events are! I have tried experimenting with the length of the title and that makes no difference. Any thoughts?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I am going through my calendar day by day it shows me from about 8am to 5pm. If there's anything before 8am or after 5pm, I don't see it without scrolling. On my old Treo, it would get rid of some of the unallocated hours between 8am to 5pm to ensure other events fit on the screen. Anyway to do this within the Calendar? I'm using Agenda in the meantime but would really like to see just the day's events for whatever day I'm looking at.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using Companion Link to sync my Outlook with Gmail and thus to my Eris. So far it works flawlessly. All my calendar events show up, all details and notes included. The one weird problem I'm having is that while all of my calendar events show up in Outlook, and in the Gmail calendar, AND on the Eris calendar in either Month View (it shows the notch indicating an event that day) or in Day View (all events are correctly displayed) but --- if I switch to Agenda View, most of my events are NOT displayed. All Day events are all displayed as a few "timed events", but most timed events are not. Can't figure it out. I know the data is there. It is correctly displayed in every place and in every way EXCEPT Agenda View.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently using the calendar that came on my Captivate. I like that it syncs with Google. The problem I am having is in scheduling repeating events. If I create an event in Google calendar on the desktop, I can schedule it to repeat every other week. I cannot find this choice if I create an event on the android calendar. On my Captivate, I only see weekly, monthly, etc. Is there a way to schedule events to recur every other week on the Android? Maybe I'm just missing it. I learn new things on this phone every day.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my HTC Incredible, since day 1 and after the updates (including Froyo) I am not able to see the names of events on my calendar in any of the calendar views except the "Today" view.All I see is the rectangle graphics depicting some event is taking place but inside the rectangle the event name is not displayed forcing me to open every event to what it is from the Calendar application.Therefore,I have to resort to using the Agenda widget to scroll through event names by date to get a quick overview. I haven't gotten my hands on someone else's Incredible to verify if this is just the way it is on this phone, but I would venture to guess not.I've used and seen plenty of Blackberry's and used to looking at weekly calendar views and all of the event names and their times/duration laid out graphically (with the event names in the rectangles).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to let you know about a glitch with HTC's calendar that I have noticed and that HTC confirmed to me today on the telephone.Occasionally, when creating a calendar event, the calendar app will record the event as being one day later than the date selected by the user. Apparently, according to the HTC rep with whom I spoke, this issue is known and they are working on it.Clearly, it is a software glitch, but it is a particularly unhelpful one for those of use relying on accurate calendars

I can see them on my laptop but not on the phone. On my Blackberry I could go back a year and a half to see past events. What is the best way to ensure that I never lose this information? I would imagine that it will always be on my gmail account??? If my phone were ever lost or stolen wouldn't it just be a matter of getting another phone and uploading from gmail to the phone? So, what is the best backup method out there for me? I am coming from a Palm Treo which I was able to sync with my desktop program.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have multiple events (ie birthdays) as all day events. That means that these are set up in Outlook 2007 from 12am to 12pm on selected day. Recently, I went from Central to Eastern time zone. While there, I synced my phone with outlook using HTC Sync and now I have an additional occurrence of the event that goes from 11am to 11pm and spans into the previous day. I thought this would fix itself once the phone was back in the right time zone and was resynced, but it doesn't.

But, on one of my panels I have a Calendar widget showing my future appointments. Since the update it only shows one week ahead where as before it showed about 2 months.
Is there a way to get it to show 2 months again?
I was just reading in another of the forums here that the HTC Hero calendar does not have a week view. This led me to the Samsung manual (I don't own the phone) to confirm that it does have a week view (*phew*). My question is: How do you go to the next/previous day/week/month when you're in each view? Is it a simple one-click or swipe operation (like in Palm OS), or do you have to back out to, say, month view and drill in again (like, apparently, on the HTC Hero)?

The status bar shows that it is connected, but data wont load. Everything else that runs on wireless in my house works fine. View 7 Replies View RelatedI go to sleep with the phone next to me at 70% battery life, wake-up 2 hours later and the phones dead. This has happend twice now, before this battery life hasent been an issue.
I've used the phone for about a weeks and everything was great, until two days ago (not sure what happend, I did install a 16gb SDHC card).
If the 16gb SDHC card is whats causing the battery life to be good for ~2 hours unplugged with 0 usage, then this is useless..
The GPS is off, WiFi is off, signal strength is about -85dB.
Facebook is set to every 3 hours
Weather Every 6 Hours
Exchange is set to push with a 10kb attachment limit (doesnt seem to even work).
For an example I just charged the phone to 17%, unplugged it for 2m 27%, now at sub 9% battery..
Android - 56%
Cell - 20%
Display - 17%
Phone Idle - 7%
Right now this phone is as useful as a brick, i've uninstalled the weather app and a bunch of other 3rd party things that I thought could have been causing it, but this is the second time now.. My battery life sans being plugged in is around 2 hours tops, with or without using the phone.
Under battery usage the android system is usually over 60%.
Should I do a full reset and if so how do I go about doing that?
I want to build a app for a particular person and have a module inside the application which would populate all the events/shows that the person is scheduled to perform/performed. I have three approaches in mind - one is google api, another is android calendar and the third is using facebook page of that person.

There was no notification what the alert was or anything. Only reason I knew it was that event is because it popped up in Outlook on my PC as well.
