HTC Incredible : Can Someone Rip Original Droid Ringtones?
May 26, 2010I want all the HTC ringtones that come stock on the Incredible. Can anyone rip them and post a download to them?

HTC Incredible :: Droid Ringtones And Notification
Jul 20, 2010This is an update.zip type format for the Droid X ringtones as well as the well known Droid notification sound. This will add them to the appropriate places under /system, instead of needing to put them on the storage, or sd card.

Oct 13, 2010I am a noob to droid modification. I somehow managed to erase the original system off my droid in the process of installing the miui rom. Now the rom is the only thing that is running. It doesn't boot with a droid symbol and when I say restore to factory settings it aborts. PLEASE PLEASE help me out if you know a way to fix this.

Jul 10, 2010I've been using Lockpicker on my Incredible, which requires a password due to the Exchange policies. I turned Lockpicker off by accident and now it wants me to put my old password in. I have no idea what it is. I'm on attempt #10/10, and I don't want the device to erase my data.I can't turn Lockpicker back on without getting back into the menu system. Is there any way to recover my original password? I would've thought it'd automatically be the same as my Exchange password, but that's not working. Is there any way to refresh the number of attempts I have?

Aug 24, 2010One feature of my old Env2 that I really miss and can't seem to find on my Incredible is to find the original time that an SMS message was sent. If I have my phone off for an hour, and turn it back on and receive a text message that was sent at some point in that hour, how can I find out when exactly it was sent? I don't see the option in Handcent or in the Stock Messaging app.

Apr 30, 2010I just got my phone yesterday, and the verizon rep insisted he needed to setup a new google account on the phone. I didn't feel like arguing since I already have one so I let him do it. Once I got home, I setup my account and sync'd all of my email and contacts, but I cannot delete the original account he setup off the phone. I also cannot sync my calendar through my account. The phone is only wanting to sync the calendar with the account he set up. Can someone offer advice on how to delete the account he setup? BTW, I have gone in and tried to delete the account, but the phone tells me applications need this account and in order to delete it, I will have to reset the phone to all defaults and all information will be lost.

Apr 19, 2010I know many of you are getting ready to make the jump from BB to the Incredible. I just had to have a way to back up my contacts.
TO ALL Storm users (and other users with 5.0, not sure if it works with 4.7.. should be able, havent tested it) you CAN backup your phone via backup assistant from Verizon. I did this yesterday and now have all of my contacts backed up on my account.
While the Tour and Storm 2 had the program pushed to their devices, I (and others) were still able to grab the link!
Simply download and install the backup assistant from the tour link.

** TO RESTORE on your new Droid Incredible**
When logged in to verizonwireless.com, you can simply select all contacts then export them as a .csv file.
After you do that, login to your gmail account (you have to have one to use an android device anyway) and you can import your contacts.

May 14, 2010I want to put ringtones on my phone but I am not sure where to put them. On my SD card I made a directory media/audio/ringtones. when I tried to set a custom ringtone for a contact it didn't list the ones I put on the card. I also tried (With Astro) to place them in the same directory on the phones storage and it wouldn't let me paste to the directory. Are all ringers and notification sounds in mp3 format?

May 2, 2010I've been having issues with my downloaded ringtones through Zedge not playing after I've set them as my ringtone... also, when my phone rings, I have the number as a contact in my phonebook but it won't show on caller ID. In other words, it will show the number, but not who the number belongs to.
I think my SD card is giving me problems... every once in a while it will say I have no space on the SD Card (It also says I have like 7gb left open when I pull it up online), and won't let me save videos or pictures I'm taking.

May 20, 2010I noticed this morning that my alarm didn't make a sound when it went off this morning. Fortunately it was set to vibrate and I heard that. I than noticed it didn't ring when I received a call. I had my GF send me a txt and no sound with that either. When I go into setting to change my ringtone none of them play. The volume button beeps when I hit it and I other apps that play sounds are working fine.
