Android : Why Are So Many Games / Apps In Euros / British Pounds?
Sep 21, 2010I recently got my D1, and I'm noticing a lot of the games and apps I might be interested in buying are listed in Euros or British Pounds. I'm in the US, so how would I buy a game like labyrinth if I wanted to? Can I buy games in a different currency and pay for them in Also, don't mean to ask a stupid question, but is my phone set it's default location in Europe for some reason?

Jul 3, 2010This app seems great, but I'm having a problem getting the music portion to work. When I Enable it, and select a playlist, it always says the playlist is empty. Now, my music is stored on the phone memory and not the sd card, but if it can find the playlists and display for me to choose, why is it not seeing the songs on them?

May 13, 2010I was testing my phone and found that if i JUST set it to sleep it will notify me of new emails. But i waited until it was asleep for over 25 min and i sent 2 emails from 2 different email accounts and neither one showed up on my phone until i unlocked it and hit airplane mode and then unchecked airplane mode. i have the mobile data set to always on. I do have only 1 bar at -99 signal strength. but if i turn on and off airplane mode the emails come right in after a prolonged sleep.

HTC Incredible :: Screen Shatters Because Of Coming Into AC / Fix It?
Aug 8, 2010Wildest and saddest thing ever just happened to my incredible. I'm in Virginia for a wedding where the air is around 100 degrees. I had been carrying my phone in my hand all day as I normally do and went into the air conditioned church, which was around 65. I went to take a picture with my phone and the screen shattered where I was holding it in the corner and spiderwebbed across the phone. The screen and touch still works, i just have a difficult time reading through the cracks. This is the saddest thing ever because I literally baby my phones and have never lost or broken a phone in the 12 years I've had a cell phone. I'm going to go into Verizon and see what can be done since I have insurance... im just scared of this insurance company since ive heard so many terrible things about it. It's also annoying because i had been planning on taking it in anyways because it will not read my microsd card and hasnt for the past two weeks. Just be careful of temperature changes. I know some people won't believe this story but i guess it was one of those fluke things that with my awesome luck had to happen. It's just so annoying that they put glass in a phone that can't even resist changes of fourty degrees. I'm definitely regretting not getting a phone with gorilla class. Has this happened to anyone else?

May 2, 2010Is anyone else's wall charger making a high pitched whistling noise when you have it plugged in? If I put the wall charger itself in the outlet without the usb cable inserted, it sounds fine. As soon as I plug the USB cable into it, it starts making the noise.

Apr 28, 2010I had my phone charging at my desk when I suddenly noticed a high pitched whine/chirping coming from somewhere. I was quickly able to pinpoint it -- it's my charger.
I did a Google search and it seems to be a fairly common issue with AC wall chargers.
I'm just curious, is this something I should be concerned about? While it's annoying, I can certainly put up with it until I can have Verizon replace it but I don't want to have to stress about some electrical surge nuking my phone.
Oh, just now the charging finished and as soon as it did (mind you it's still plugged in) the noise ceased.
HTC Incredible : MP3 As Ringtone Volume - Loud Coming Out Of Speaker
Aug 15, 2010I put some MP3s on my Inc and the audio player plays them fine and they're pretty loud coming out of the speaker.
Now, I took one of those MP3s and set it as my ring tone. I turned the ringtone volume all the way up and when I got a call, it's like half the volume as it played as an MP3.
Why do I lose so much volume? Is there any way to make that louder?

Also, all my contacts are phone contacts, not gmail contacts, will HTC sync application help me backup my contacts and restore them? I haven't replaced an HTC phone yet so please forgive my innocence. I'm a converted BB user and now never going back to anything but Droid. Also, will i be receiving LCD screen instead AMOLED screen? May 7, 2010When I go down through my contacts, or my favorites and they have the green circle with a number to show updates, I open them up, go to the updates portion and if it says update no Facebook page, I select it. Problem is, it goes to Face book's mobile page and not the app, which is how I would like it. Has anyone else experienced this, know of a work-around/solution? I did a brief search and didn't really see anything.
