HTC Incredible :: Launcher Pro Won't Open
Jul 28, 2010I install it and then I cannot find it and the "Open" button next to the install button is unclickable how come?

HTC Incredible : Launcher Pro Won't Launch - Open?
Jun 10, 2010Decided to give it a try after hearing rave reviews from many. Downloaded Launcher Pro from the market today and it installed but won't open. There's no icon in my app list for it either. I can find it by going to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps but the only option there is to uninstall.
Rebooted and on the homescreen I had an option to use Sense or Launcher Pro so I chose Launcher Pro. The bottom dock was there but some of my previous icons were still on the homepage and I couldn't hold/drag them off the screen? Also, still nowhere to interface the program for options. Am I missing something obvious or what the heck?

Sep 1, 2010I have ADW launcher & Launcher pro installed but i can't seem to find them in the apps menu. If i push home it used to show all three launchers( adw,LP & sense) but now my home button only shows my scenes.

A launches B using start Activity(new Intent(A.this, B.class)). When the user has the B activity open, and then put my application into the background, and later my application's process is killed, when the user starts my application again, B is opened instead of A. This caused a force close in my app, because A is the activity that initializes the resources my app needs, and when B tried to access the uninitialized resources, B crashes.

The crash happens because com.android.internal.app.ResolverActivity is trying to find a (single) component which resolves the following intent: <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
Has been tested BOTH with the AppInstaller, and the actual Marketplace on a real device.

Jun 25, 2010In HTC, I get the option to add widgets, programs, shortcuts and folders to my home screen. Using LP, I only have the option to add to dock or home screen shortcuts, widgets, folders, and wallpaper; no programs. I especially want to add programs like Jorte to my dock. I'm sure that I am missing something easy but I cannot figure it out. I really like LP but I am frustrated.

Aug 11, 2010so after reading all of the great things about launcher pro i downloaded the demo. My home screen froze up and my menu was all messed up. It took me an hour to work my way to the applications list to uninstall it. I couldn't scroll through my menus, my menu and back button stopped working and the only way to navigate through anything was using the track ball in landscape mode. very strange, beware of this app.

I mean, they look like they are copies of Sense UI, so I really do not see the benefit if you are on an HTC phone. May 26, 2010my sense launcher on my DINC just crashed on me and I had to restart my phone. Anybody else have this problem? Does this mean I can't use launcher pro on sense froyo? If not, does someone know of a stable ROM they're using that does allow this? I just rooted my phone today for the first time, and am getting the Froyo itch.

Jul 17, 2010Downloaded Launcher Pro a few times today. Is the Market qlitchy today? It says it downloaded, but when I try to open it, the "Open" tab is grayed and not functioning. I can only "Uninstall". Also the icon doesn't show up in my list of apps. Anyone else having problems with the market today? Guess I could try downloading another app to see if that works. If not, it is a Market problem and I'll just be patient.

Nov 24, 2010Any one else notice that when using launcher pro and pinching the homescreen to get the previews, there is an initial lag at first? After a couple of pinches on the homescreen it speeds up and becomes more smooth tho, but the initial pinch is always laggy for me. I was thinking it could be something in the memory settings of the LP preferences, however upon playing with the settings I come up empty.

Jun 11, 2010I figured I might try starting something up for those who are having problems with Launcher Pro. It's a great home replacement and has far better functionality than Sense does IMO. The only issue is that it seems like some people are getting a lot of FC's.
I had a good week long run without any FC's, and then after an upgrade it seems like they're back.

HTC Incredible :: Get Sideloaded Apps To Appear On Their Launcher?
Nov 24, 2010So i downloaded the Sirius XM app from their website, then used Astro to find the apk in the downloads folder. I was able to install it and launch it from there.
I cant not see it under all apps though even though it has been installed and works. I can only access it through Astro.
How do i get it to show up where all of the other apps are located, do i need to move the file with astro?
HTC Incredible :: Launcherpro Plus Widgets In Sense Launcher?
Oct 5, 2010I really like Sense but I really want to try out the transparent widget mods for launcherpro plus (which I already bought). Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.
